Cody Pope on dreamindemon.com

ROMERome reviewsRome reviews, Ga. - A woman running a home daycare left to take care of some errands, leaving her 17-year-old son, Cody Pope, and an older woman in charge. While she was out, Cody decided to focus his attention on a little boy being cared for at the home. Aside from showing him a handgun in an upstairs bedroom and also watching the boy shower, Cody decided to take things a bit further.

The boy told investigators that Cody took him to a locked room where there was innapropriate touching involved. Cody has admitted to the allegations and has been charged with one count of child molestation and released. Police fear there are probably more victims they are unaware of as the boy had easy access to the children. I am betting that we see some more charges, and I really feel for all the parents who had kids in that home.

Sad thing is that this kid has also ruined his mother’s life as well. Not only does she have to deal with the fact that her kid is a child molestor, but that she unwittingly gave him easy access to victims to abuse. On top of all that, it is reported that she was a respected daycare owner who has run this operation from her home for five years.

This is so sick there’s nothing to say about it.

Does it seem there are more child molestors, or are we just hearing more often about them?

I ask myself that about child molestors and baby killers every day when i come online.
It is that there are more perps or is it that with the internet we just hear about them more?

I think of how in the early 1980’s i hitched up and down the country like it was safest thing in the world. Now i sit back and think WTF was i thinking. But we never heard about all this stuff when I was a kid coming up. Yet it was surely a issue than too.
So I guess this is like the chicken and egg question We may never know.
But danged if it does not stay on my mind.

Sorry I just am amazed daily how many people do this crap. like it is a walk in the park darned Arseholes

Well there goes his moms business and i think that there are more sex offenders and especially among children, unless we never heard of all the cases out there, Can you believe that they released him back to the public, so you know he will probably go back to the daycare and moleste another, I SURE HOPE NOT, but hey let them all out, ya know…. Well like i always say ;;;; the ones who doe this shit, have no rights and just put them out of their misery , shoot them and be done with it

Good going Asshat, lets not only ruin the lives of children and their parents, but lets ruin your own mothers life and buisness too…..

Personally I think every child molester should be put to death the first time they offend. No second chances cause they’ll only use that chance to molest again….

He’s a CHILD child molester. Creepy! At 17 he should be out chasing 17 year old girls – Not checking out the local daycares for little boys. MAkes you wonder what was wrong in his life that made him a pedo at such an early age….

I’ll set the over under on tards showing up to defend him at 36 hours. Place your bets.

What – You mean he’s not innocent. I thought that was the new thing – confess and then deny…. Have all of your creepy friends shouting your praise from the tops of their houses.
I see from his pic that he knows to keep his back to the wall.

I think we just hear about them more often and people are much more likely to report them these days. Everybody know now that priests molested little boys for decades (centuries?), but people only started coming forward about it fairly recently (or maybe that’s just my memory). It seems like previous generations were more likely to just sweep Uncle Bob’s “games” under the rug than to call the police.

    Cody, take a note:
This did not work out so well
    For Bubba, either.

We are too lenient in this country with sex offenders. Our judicial system treats these people with the type of empathy that they do not deserve nor that which they have for their victims. They are not “ill” or “recovering” they are people that put their own desires ahead of anything. They are capable of horrific acts for their own pleasure…purely selfish without remorse because again and again the acts are repeated. We have to say enough and put these people away the first time. What is the purpose of government to its citizens? give our most innocent citizens the protection they deserve.

Yeah…well why did his mama have a gun in the house that was readily available for Cody to show the child? Unless it was his gun, which the article above doesn’t suggest one way or the other.

And…if I pay someone to care for my kids, it’s because I put my trust in that person, and not some other person, to do it. I hope all these parents knew that Cody would be left in charge of their kids whenever his mama the daycare operator decided to step out and get her butt waxed. If not, I guess I don’t have that much sympathy after all for this woman losing her business.

child molestors should be put to death, no questions, no excuses, DEATH! They’ve killed the inside of that child, heart and soul.

This dude has been messed up ever since ive known him. When he was a couple years younger he tried pull his older cousins bathing suit bottoms down in the pool. He would try to look down her shirt and touch her inappropiatly(sp). I blame his parents for how he is because they never disiplined him. O and by the way dont feel too sorry for his mom. She would leave those kids all the time in the hands of an older family member that had no business being left alone with those small kids. She should be investigated for how she handled those kids. I wouldnt be surprised if he did it to more of the kids. He needs to sit in jail for what hes done.
