Christian Taylor, 14, Killed His Mother

Christian Taylor, 14, Killed His Mother

WELLS, Vermont. – On August 2nd at 3:55 a.m., 911 operators received a call and heard the sounds of a woman screaming along with the unmistakable sound of an object hitting another object repeatedly before the screaming stops. State troopers are dispatched to the address the call originated from and Christian Taylor, 14, answered the door stating he was unaware of any problems and told the troopers he would go get his mother, 40-year-old Francine Morgan. When he returned to the troopers, he stated that there was blood in her room. When troopers went inside, they found Francine Morgan’s body on the floor, a bloody flashlight on the bed as well as blood splattered on the floor, ceiling and walls. An autopsy revealed that Francine Morgan died from blunt force trauma to the head and that she had also been shot in the cheek.

Christian was the only one home with his mother at this time, and denied knowing anything about his mother’s death. He later changed this, admitting to seeing a “dark, shadowy figure” attacking his mother. Court documents go on to state that Christian told police he thought he was dreaming that his mother was screaming at him.

“He continued to say that he had a feeling of his mom in a frantic struggle with the shadowy figure. His mom was fighting, trying not to give up. He further stated that he felt that his mother was getting fatigued, she was pinned against the wall, and she was trying to break away … (Taylor) further advised that there was a lot of wrestling around until ‘he,’ the shadow, gets to a point where ‘he’ can finish her off”

Christian went on to say all of this started over an argument over something his mother was morally against. Christian Taylor has plead not guilty to the charges of murder and is being charged as an adult and is currently being held at a secure juvenile detention center.     i just wanted to tell you all know that CJ was released because they found even more evidence that he didn't do it. so you can all just stop talking about this. i am related to CJ and I have stood up for him and the rest of the family through this horrible thing. i think it is awful how you all could say these things about a family. this just proves to you all that everyone is innocent until proven guily. i personally think these comments some of you have made are sick.

    i agree wishing things like that on other people is wrong of me and i admit that i was wrong for that i apologize and in regards to being on the internet 2 months after it happened is irrelevant i buried my stepmother along with my father, grandmother and aunt three days after she was taken from us and it is difficult for a person like me who wants to see how people are reacting to something like this (in other words if anyone else is disgusted by the lack of urgency displayed by the emergency dispatchers) to sit by after reading some of the things said by some of the visitors of this website and just not respond however i apologize for wishing harm or anything to any innocent person i was very "bothered" by some of the things said and in regards to my 14 yr old brother some general insight to everyone he was an extremely docile kid who enjoyed playing his keyboard and hanging out with me and playing video games and speding time with his girlfriend and a little known fact about him he was a very weak kid he was not strong at all he couldnt do more than two or three regular pushups and my stepmother weighed over 300lbs and was a strong woman and at no point in my 4 yrs of living in that house was he ever violent and he rarely ever even got upset about anything he was a very laid back person and we (his family) believe he is innocent until proven guilty and there is too much evidence against his being guilty ie reasonable doubt (the clothes were never found and neither were the two guns my father had in his bedstand) and also some of us believe that his gf may have been involved or be responsible completely

    If I ever have someone torn from me in this fashion, you can bet I wont be in the internet looking for message boards talking about it…I especially would not be contributing to the discussion. But that’s me.

    AMEN...The internet be damned if someone I loved was ripped from my heart like that.. Shouldn't you be out making funeral arrangements,etc., helping your family cope with this horrendous crime?? jmo

    BMorgan, I am truly sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what your family is going through and your anger at this point is understandable. You must not be on this site very often, because if you were, you would know that that if, in fact, we are wrong about our accessments, we "man up to it", so to speak. We will welcome any more information you may have. In the mean time, hoping violence and grief on others is just so wrong. If you really, deep down, believe your brother is innocent, then turn your anger into something positive and find out what really happened instead of wishing bad things for us. You've never walked in our shoes, but I guarantee you, a lot of us here on DD have had our share of unimaginable horror in one way or another, but wouldn't have ever wished it upon you or any other innocent person.

    i am completely disgusted by the way you people talk about another persons murder like its some kind of joke and you make jokes about it and talk about it candidly like you have the slightest amount of understanding of what the people involved have to go through my name is blue morgan and i am francine goodspeed/morgans stepson (son) and i lived with cj (christian james taylor my brother) and franny and my dad brian for the past 4 years and cj was in no way ever violent or at all crazy he was a normal 14 yr old kid whos mother loved him more than anything else in the world and gave him the world and treated him how every son would ever ask to be treated what happened that night will never be known to any of us due to the little known fact that certain evidence was missing from the house when it was investigated and was never found and neither were the clothes that the killer wore which would of been covered in blood and the killer would have had to take a shower to clean all of it off and cjs hair was dry when the police got there (do you really think he would of had time to hide the evidence and shower and fall back asleep before the cops got there????) no didnt think so the fact that it took the cops soo long to get to such an emergency is repulsive and inexcusible regardless of how difficult it may be to locate you people are pigs to talk about a person being ripped away from the ones who love them like its some kind of funny incident its not and to joke about just makes you look like an inhuman insensitive asshole and i hope that someday you have someone torn from you and then have people talk about it like its a joke and then you will truly know how it feels and i cant wait for that day to come to each and every one of you who think this is something to kid about

    Maybe... but I watched that video, and while he is babyfaced, he appears to tower over many of the adults around him. And the picture of his mom didn't show any slightly built woman he totally overpowered, either. So he seems both big, AND entirely willing to bash another human being's skull in with a mag light. His mom's, no less. Vermont isn't exactly a hard core sort of state either. My fear is that he might be really be one of those kids in juvie you wouldn't want to see your own delinquent locked up with. His deal isn't grand theft auto, drugs, or the ease of a gun. He brutally beat his mom's head in while she screamed. Then opened the door for the cops entirely chill. Wow.

    There's another twist to this story. It seems that the 911 call originally went to Washington County dispatchers in New York. It took another 34 minutes before the call could be sent to the correct local authorities.

    That shadowy figure is a pig. It was at my house last night eating icecream sandwiches and cheez-its.

    The whole "it was a dream" thing is setting him up for an insanity defense. I wonder what his mom was morally against to cause him to kill her. Whatever it was, I'm sure she could have gotten over it. But Murder? I don't know many people that can get over that.

  • Hmph. That 'Shadowy Figure' in the attack was likely his own shadow, cast by some nearby innocent lamp that doubtlessly will need therapy to recover from this. Fuckstick moron. Sounds like something an unimaginative 14 year old would say to get his sorry arse out of trouble.

    Waaaa, so many posts to catch up on... (whimper) 12 hour days and rotating shift work are absolute killers to being able to keep up with this site. Especially when a girl's gone for months.
