Caitlin Powers Is Kinda Clumsy

Revere, MA - Pop quiz: it’s 5:00 p.m., and you’re hungry. You’re babysitting your infant niece, but you also have two friends with you, and it’s time for your heroin fix. Do you: (A) Call someone to come get the baby; (B) Wait to get high until the baby leaves; or (C) Take the baby to Taco Bell, get high in the parking lot, and drop the baby on her head?  If you picked C, you’re Caitlyn Powers!Â
Caitlyn, 21, got really, really high on Wednesday afternoon. She was babysitting her five-month-old niece when her friends Jessica St. Amand (Myspace) and Anthony Paolini (Myspace) came over. They all decided that it was time for a run for the border, so off to Taco Bell they went, Caitlin’s infant niece in tow. By the time these three morons made it to the TB, they were jonesing for a fix, so they pulled out the works in the car and got high in the parking lot. Because if you’re gonna shoot up, you should always do it where you can smell the burritos, or something.
Anyway, as the Assclown Trio started to walk into the restaurant (and it’s Taco Bell, so I use that term loosely), Caitlin found out her arms didn’t work. And she was in charge of the baby. And that was not a combination that worked very well.  She’d take a step, and drop the baby. And pick up the baby. And take another step, and drop the baby. And pick up the baby. And take another step, and drop the baby. You see where this is going, right?  Babies dropped on sidewalks are not like cats, or toast. They do not always land on their feet, or on the buttered side. Nope, this baby was falling on her head the three or four feet from Caitlin to the sidewalk. Repeatedly. Thanks, Auntie Caity!
A woman in the parking lot saw Caitlin dropping the baby girl on her head and ran over to intervene, grabbing the child away from the Stoner Triplets and calling police. Responding officers found the baby girl breathing, but otherwise unresponsive. Nearby, Caitlin sat crying on the sidewalk, because a good time to get sad is after you almost kill the baby. Officers found all kinds of goodies on the trio and in the car: hypodermic needles, heroin, a bunch of knives, some stolen property.. you know, the usual stuff you take on a TB run if you’re a total drug-addicted loser.
The baby girl was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital for treatment of her head trauma, and the Department of Social Services was notified. I’d like to know how she’s doing now, where her parents are, and whether they knew their baby’s auntie is a junkie.
Anthony Paolini was charged with receiving stolen property, identity fraud, violating the city’s knife ordinance and being knowingly present where heroin is kept. Jessica St. Amand was charged with being knowingly present where heroin is kept, receiving stolen property and disorderly conduct. And Caitlin Powers was charged with reckless child endangerment, aggravated assault on a child, possession of heroin and disorderly conduct.
No bond information was readily available, but it appears that Caitlin updated her Myspace on Thursday, so she may be out already.  If she is, I hope she and her friends stop by to say hello.

Thank god for the woman who intervened. This is the type of things that I like to read. Good for her, she saved this baby’s life. I cannot believe this bitch dropped the baby repeatedly and kept walking and doing it. That is sickening

As I started reading, I figured she dropped the baby once…then I got to the sickening part and figured I was gonna vomit…not only that, but I would wager she was snickering at some level with her smacked up, high ass head. I agree, thank God for the woman who snatched the baby away from her…bravo lady, doesn’t happen often enough.
How do you not realize your sister is a heroin addict? Why did they leave the baby with her? And why the hell didn’t she just shoot up at home???
Kudos to the woman who stepped up and got involved when she saw something bad happening. There’s not enough of that going on these days. Yes, seeing a child being hurt is your business. Yes, you are morally obligated to do something about it. Thank you, random lady.

That is sad, sickening, and overall dumbfounding. I really hope that this baby’s parents did not know that Caitlyn was a junkie. If they left her there with that knowledge…I have a several choice words for them as well.
I really hope that all ends will with this little girl and she recovers without any serious brain trauma. And definitely…Thank Goodness for the woman who stepped in and did the right thing.
I have ask my self this same questions. When people start using drugs they look and act different this is one of the first signs of a drug addict. I pray that the parent really had no idea she was a junkie because Caitlin was such an actress that had everyone fool (I seriously doubt ).

I think a parent can and should be brought up on charges for knowingly leaving a baby in the care of an unfit individual. I mean, if this parent didn’t think twice about leaving her kid with this junkie whore, what’ll stop them next time? They obviously exercise some retarded judgment of character.

Just curious, JeSsiKa, in case you decide to entertain us with your tardness: Do you misspell like that because you don’t want to type out the entire word? Is it intentional? Is it laziness? Are you just trying to save time? If so, maybe you could cut out some dots or exclamation points to save energy for that pesky thing called literacy.
