Joshua Carse, 23, of Linwood Avenue was found guilty on three counts of child endangering but was acquitted on a fourth count and on three counts of felonious assault.

A South Side man is on trial in Franklin County Common Pleas Court, accused of beating his infant daughter and breaking her ribs, neck and legs. Joshua Carse, 23, of Linwood Avenue, is charged with three counts of felonious assault and four counts of child endangering for injuries to Kaleah Carse.

Kaleah’s mother, 19-year-old Marlo Trembley, is scheduled for trial on Sept. 14 on one charge each of child endangering and permitting abuse.

She took that baby to the St. Vincents hospital twice behind his back and they said they saw nothing. Finally they took her to another hospital and found everything. If Marlo had taken her baby and LEFT when Josh strangled her the first time, Kaleah’s injuries WOULD have been prevented. And don’t tell me she was scared of him.
