Travis Cutrer Rapes Five Year Old - A Lot

Covington, LA - Travis Keith Cutrer is an interesting guy. At just 17, he’s already a father, to an infant son. If his Myspace is any indication, he’s a devoted boyfriend. He’s also in jail, charged with raping a five-year-old girl for over fifteen months, beginning when she was four.
The repeated sexual abuse was discovered in June, when the little girl’s grandmother began to notice behavior changes that concerned her. The grandmother reported her suspicions to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s department set up a safe interview with the child, and “things began to come up that indicated rape,†said a department spokesperson.
Cutrer was questioned by investigators and admitted to molesting the girl numerous times between February 2007 and May 2008. He was arrested on July 1and charged with aggravated rape, which in Louisiana is oral, anal or vaginal intercourse without consent of the victim - in this case, the five year old girl. The five year old who has spent almost a quarter of her life as Travis Cutrer’s sex toy. If that’s not worth some serious jail time, I dunno what is.
I kinda feel bad for Travis’s girlfriend. Now, maybe I shouldn’t, but according to her Myspace she is using his last name (they may even be married - I couldn’t find a marriage license.) She’s just eighteen years old and seems madly in love with Travis and with their son. On her Myspace, there are pages of pictures. And I just wonder if her boyfriend’s tiny rape victim is in one of those pictures.
Travis Cutrer is one lucky pedophile. Just weeks ago, a Supreme Court decision overturned Louisiana’s death penalty for aggravated rape. So while he won’t be getting an express lane to Hell, he still faces mandatory 25-to-life sentencing if convicted. Cutrer is being held without bond at the St. Tammany Parish Jail.

well, its hard to be a man with a small penis.
15 months? How stupid are the family of this girl? And how do you not notice that your granddaughter is disappearing for 30-60 minutes, unexplained, at the time?
I seriously hope that the girlfriend has gotten away from this asshole. She seems to happy in her pictures and she seems like she honestly is trying to be a good mother. I just hope that learning about this opens her eyes and she doesn’t give up with the little one.
I don’t really understand it either. I don’t want to assume she has an oblivious family, but seriously. It’s obvious from his MySpace that he’s always been a little horndog.
And on another note…it’s almost painful to try and read anything on his page. Why are teenagers so damn illiterate these days? Do they seriously think it’s cool to portray themselves as uneducated trailor trash?
Let’s hope that the girlfriend just hasn’t had a chance to change her status, as he was arrested before the last time she logged in and claimed herself as “giggly”. What’s there to be giggly about with a child rapist boyfriend?
To be fair to the family, people who rape children are pretty good at manipulation and getting the kids to keep quiet. I think the fact that the grandmother noticed and went to the sheriff’s department when she only had suspicions speaks volumes to her attention to this child. And it doesn’t take 30 to 60 minutes to victimize a little one. We are talking minutes, even seconds here. Its not like pedos bother with foreplay.
Keep the blame where it belongs, on this fucking deviant piece of shit baby raper. He should be strung up by his short and curlies until each one is ripped out. Then we let gen pop at him.
His baby mamma will do well to cut all ties with him NOW. He confessed and if he ever gets out of prison will be a registered sex offender for life. He won’t be allowed around children…even his own. Time to make a choice girlie. Your precious baby or this assclown.
Unfortunately, generalization says Yes. I feel extraordinarily ashamed to even be from the same generation as this shitbag.
Good point, and you’re absolutely right.
My guess is that the 5 yo is his niece and lives in the home. Grandma is his mother.
He has a girlfriend? Dear God, who would want this man’s penis? But in the dark, I guess all guys look alike. I wouldn’t know because I always have several thousand Christmas lights flashing.
My guess is that he is living with his baby’s mamma and HER mother. And the victim is actually the niece of the baby’s mamma. Look at her myspace. It seems like they have a large involved family.
Of course, that’s just my guess…but it was my first instinct when i read the story.
Same here, ‘cept instead of Christmas lights, its the flashbulbs of the paparazzi.
LOL! You go, Kathy! See you in the papers!
Cheese and fricken rice….
I agree with you…… Sometimes is hard for others to see the abuse, kids are too afraid plus are dealing with all this emotions and most of the times the first signed is when they start acting up. Thank God the grandmother was able to see the change and not take it as just tantrums……..
I was very upset when the Supreme Court overturned the death penalty…… until last year I was living in Louisiana and I had embrace the idea that my state will be doing the right thing…… those 25-to-life sentences are too lenient they end up walking out after a few years so my vote was for the express way to be out of our planet in a definite way. Being a victim myself I have no sympathy toward pedophiles at all. I hope that these judges who have decided to defend the criminals instead never have to see a love one going trough what the victims have to live everyday of their life’s…….
I sure hope he gets life. Someone like this isn’t high on the list of the rehabitable.
Actually, these questions aren’t the best ones to ask. If you read the article, you would know that oral rape counts in the state as rape. Child might not have been physically injured, whatever happend–there is an actual condition called “micro penis.” LOL. And why are you assuming the girl “disappeared” anywhere (as others have noted, child may LIVE with him, may be GF’s kid), or that the grandmother would be in a position to “notice” such a thing? I’m not even sure why you think raping a child is a 30-60 minute process. Kathy is right: BLAME the FUCKER who did these crimes.
FYI, yeah, lots of people were abused at some point, and you’re naive to think that people who oppose the death penalty do so out of sympathy for pedos and the wish to “defend” them. Maybe we just want a society in which the state can’t off its citizens, did that ever occur to you? Nah, you’re too busy naively believing that “judges” live in a glass bubble and have never experienced the victimization of either “loved ones” or of themselves.
Damn Sugarglider, ease up a little. You don’t have to get so defensive over everyone who disagrees with you. Just an observation, not trying to be bossy.
I personally would have liked the death penalty for sex offenders to stick. Gotta agree with Majaka on that one
Hey Solange…well-put, and I’ll do my best. Majaka wasn’t disagreeing with me, as I hadn’t posted anything yet on this forum. There wasn’t anything to defend yet. But you’re right that I was being bitchy; happy to apologize to Majaka for bitchy tone, even if I do stand by the substance of what I said…and I did indeed object to statements that bluntly attributed anti-DP stances to sympathy for assholes and that seemed to imply that having been victimized equates to loving the DP.
I can be prickly, though, I’ll admit (and to be honest that’s probably not going to change that much), but that doesn’t mean I harbor personal ill will towards Solange, Majaka, or anyone else who loves the DP…even if I do wish pro-DP folks would give another thought to the blanket powers they hand their gov’t in supporting it.
Anyway…happy Sunday french toast to all.
MMMM….French toast.
SG, have a look at this post http://www.dreamindemon.com/forums/showpost.php?p=53011&postcount=16
I have had a very unique encounter with the DP and still think it is a good idea. Let me know your thoughts in that thread or PM if you like. This could make for interesting discussion. Take it easy on me, I never finished high school.
For the record, I found you first post in this thread to be condescending and bordering on rude. I don’t recall reading anyone’s proclamation that they had asked the “best question”. I might have written that section as hey, the question I would want answered is X, Y, and Z, but that is just me.
Trust me I’ve thrown more than a few out there like that and understand your passion.
I don’t even have issues with your being unilaterally against the DP in all forms, my issue is with your condescending tone to a differing opinion.
It sure made it hard to not just discard your message as hogwash.
Just a little primer on my stance on the DP. I don’t see the DP as a deterrent, in fact in its current form it is not one at all. I see the death penalty as the ultimate shaking a finger in a criminal’s face and saying, “bad criminal, don’t do that again!”.
It is not about deterring crime, it is about making the worst of the bad people DEAD!
Does the DP have flaws, sure it does. It is almost like having the mind set of unilaterally having all the right answers…not at all unlike a message I recently read on a blog site… or at least it comes across that way.
R
oh another cootie ? how you pronounce cutrer anyhow…
if he was my boyfriend and done that to my neice or my sister/brother/or their child. Once I found out he had done these things I would of blew his ass away with first gun I could find and load. You wouldn’t have to worry about me being with my babydaddy ever again.
I’m thinking just putting his nasty hands on the little girls thigh while sitting on the sofa watching a dvd slipping it further up to the pantie … being sneaky so no one else sees him - was how these rapes and molestations occur. I agree they don’t take long until the girl frees herself, run off and shifts her activity to get the fuck away off to another area or a toy.
cootie is going to be somebodies play toy in the big house. He needs a shovel up his ass.
Wow! got off from the wrong side of the bed today…… I will explain my view.
1st. I am sure “lots of people were abused at some point” and just because of that we don’t want any other to go through the same thing. The system we have right know a paedophile gets caught is send to jail, in a few years they walk away either under “treatment” or “because they have being cure”. A few months/years later we hear of more kids being victims to this so call “redeem person” and some of those victims end six feet under. Call me naive but to me is better to have these criminal erase from the face of the earth than cry for an innocent victim.
2nd Maybe some of the judges have seen something bad happened to a love one but a lot of them haven’t and I am sorry but I feel they take the criminals side when they let so many get out of with a slap in the hand. Some people get more jail for hurting an animal than these creeps get for hurting a baby.
Sorry if this makes you feel like I am attacking you is not my intention. when it comes to pedophiles I firmly believe the best way to deal with them is to erase them from the map. That way we make sure they will never do it again.
No problem, I know how this kind of subjects can be very passionate for both sides….. I was never trying to say all ant-death penalty are pedophile lovers I was simply expressing the way a victim feels on how soft the judges are with this kind of crime……. I feel for so many kids who’s lives are changes by the acts of these animals and how many others are kill by the same repeat offenders….. Just to think what he did to her makes me sick also knowing that he will do it again as soon as he is out of jail makes me feel worse…… no harm intended on my words.
It’s so early in the day that I was sitting here thinking, “What’s DP? Democratic Party? Doughnut platters?”
Just in case, I want to go on record as 100% for doughnut platters at least.
Well put Harley_Tech. I agree with you 100% Thank you for explaining so well.
Harley, “for the record,” I apologized for tone to Majaka. LOL. So be it. That’s another issue. Now for your complaint: I’m sorry if you are offended on Allan’s behalf, but those questions he asked weren’t pertinent. And that’s my opinion. Go back and read the story again and read the questions he asked. They may have been typed inthe heat of the moment, or whatever, and there are times when I post, too, without thinking it through, but I’ll stand right by what I said: those aren’t the best questions for this story. As far as I can tell, they’re not even relevant. If you’re done scolding me, can we kindly put on our critical thinking skills hats here and ask some pertinent freaking questions? Do you think those are good questions? If so, why? Perhaps I missed something. Do tell!
Yes, Harley, I realize that. It’s just not something I’m interested in.
Now, if they happen to hang themselves with a bedsheet b/c they’re miserable in jail, that’s just fine with me.
Hyuk hyuk. Harley, you want these people dead. If that’s what you want, then your answer is the right one for you. I am unilaterally against the death penalty.
Thanks for pointing me to that other thread, and I will indeed take a look. Do I think my own answers are “right”? Well, my position is an ideological one, and I’ve thought it out, and, yes, it’s the right answer for me, and I’ve explained why–it has nothing to do with emotionalism or anything else. It has to do w/ governmental responsibilities. Now, I think that most people on these fora are pro-DP, so don’t worry–I’m in the minority.
That’s cool, Majaka. Life in prison accomplishes the same thing. It’s not like we’re in disagreement about wanting them to never have the opportunity again. I hate them too. The point of my post was that I wanted to make it clear that I’m not sympathetic to pedos–that one can be anti-DP for other reasons. Nor am I a person who thinks it’s important to forgive. Nor do I believe that someone who sexually abuses a child will not reoffend if they have the chance. Your post seemed to assume that anyone anti-DP is “unilaterally” (to use Harley’s word) forgiving of pedos.
Majaka…I see my hint wasn’t clear enough. I seriously am NOT trying to be rude here, but it would be swell if you would realize that you don’t have a right to speak about “WE.” I am PART OF that “we.” I hope that is clear now. That was what bugged me about your first post–the insinuation that people who were abused all have the same opinions, which went with the insinuation that people who go into law were raised in some ivory tower. Honestly, many people who go into law (and later become judges) do it because they or someone in their families have been victims of crime.
Doughnut platter! I wish. By the way, my pal here just pointed out to me that “DP” means “double penetration” in porno circles. HAHA, I guess I’m not into that, either, but to each their own!
Y’all, I won’t be around later today, so I’ll say these things now:
I was thinking about Solange’s comment about handling disagreement. And I was thinking about the fact that Athena and I disagree about the death penalty, yet there’s no acrimony about it. Athena feels that if there’s 100% certainty that the accused is guilty, then she has no problem with the DP. And I have no problem with Athena for thinking that. I actually have no problem with people who disagree, although I do appreciate thought-through reasons for beliefs–about such major issues–over the kneejerk emotionalism that is soemtimes exhibited surrounding such major issues.
The fact is, the subject of DP itself is not what got my panties in a twist on this thread. The mess on this thread began because I was offended by an assumption Majaka made about the motivations of people who are anti-DP. I wasn’t actually wanting to make an argument here about the DP, just wanted to poke a hole in the assuption. It was an assumption that anyone who DOESN’t support it either hasn’t been a victim of abuse, wishes to blandly forgive and forget, or sympathizes with them. And THAT is what I was responding to. If I wasn’t clear, I hope it makes sense now.
So, we can all move on with our DP and anti-DPness. Personally, I am for enforced life in prison, with no freedom to be had from it, including the freedom that death can provide.
But it’s okay with me to have differences. In the end, I wish all a good day, and many doughnut platters.
p.s. Harley: I read your piece that you gave the link to. I thought it was fascinating, an interesting collection of anecdotes.
One thing I’d like to address briefly -
Have kid gloves become a front page posting requirement? This is not Utopia - if someone makes a silly and reckless remark, they may not get the most respectful response. It’s humorous, in kind of a sad way, that more than one person addressed SG’s tone, but SG was the only one addressing the potentially insulting statements other people were making.
As far as capital punishment goes - The suggestion that capital punishment is simply “flawed” is an understatement, in my opinion. In its current state and in practice, the death penalty is fundamentally corrupt.
Generally speaking, those who are pro-DP have a very short-sighted perspective. They don’t think beyond “this guy deserves death.” In that respect, I very much agree on an emotional level. But there’s a LOT more to consider, here. For those who do not take issue philosophically, there are some very tangible reasons for opposing the death penalty. Mine are as follows (in order):
1.) Accuracy. Currently, DNA evidence is not a requirement for the death penalty. As a result, we have placed dozens, if not hundreds, of innocent individuals on death row. If you are pro-death penalty in practice, you are asserting that it’s okay for our government to some kill innocent civilians, so long as we retain the right to kill the bad ones, too. I can’t possibly agree with that.
2.) Financial considerations. Currently, a capital case is significantly more expensive to prosecute than non-capital cases. In fact, a capital case from trial to execution can be more expensive than a non-capital case from trial to natural death. If killing a baby-raper costs more than keeping him imprisoned for life, I’ll choose the cheaper option. After all, we’re footing the bill.
3.) The application of capital punishment tends to be arbitrary. We don’t apply the death penalty evenly. Black men are more likely to be executed than white men; any man is more likely to be executed than a woman; the poor are more likely than the rich, etc. Of all legal proceedings, the death penalty illustrates most clearly that we are NOT all equal in the eyes of the law. Why maintain a practice that blatantly exposes judicial flaws, but fails to fix them?
Lastly, FYI for those who don’t understand why the court ruled as they did regarding the death penalty being applied to child rape - It was established many moons ago that the death penalty is an “excessive” punishment for crimes that do not involve the taking of a life. The considerations are constitutional, NOT out of sympathy for the criminal. We choose Supreme Court justices for their extraordinary understanding of the Constitution and for their just decisiveness and, while we may not always agree with their rulings, we should respect them. These guys are the best at what they do, which is why they’re there.
As far as this case goes, specifically - this kid deserves life. I am of the opinion that pedophiles cannot be reformed, so they must be removed entirely.
I’m anti DP, and always have been. I fear the government. I don’t like the idea of them wielding that power.
However, since starting on here at the ‘Demon, I’m starting to re-think.
I don’t know where I stand right now, except that I wish it was behind this mother fucker with a loaded pistol. Y’know what I’m saying?
I want ‘em dead, I just don’t know who I want to kill ‘em.
Humans who hurt children are defective. Reform is impossible. I’m sorry for their bad luck, whether it be genetic, or whether they themselves were abused, or whatever the case may be….they are defective humans and they NEED to be eliminated.
It’s just the logistics are tricky.
another case on “My Msn” main page : GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio - A Clermont County man was arrested Monday after he was accused of raping a 7-year-old girl. Police said that on June 11, the girl’s babysitter walked into a room in her home to find Ryan Carfrey, 27, standing over the girl and stroking himself.
Police said Carfrey admitted to the crime and blamed alcoholism for his actions.

did the babysitter turn in her penis ? being they were in the same house different rooms… kudo’s to the sitter for making the child priority!
Why was his last myspace login on 7/17/08? Is he not in jail? What am I missing here?
