LAKE COUNTY, Fla. - Don’t let the sad look fool you. 37-year-old Lisa Reilly is a bitch. On July 2nd, Reilly passed a tractor trailer on the right and struck Jennifer Prokop, a 34-year-old pregnant mother of three, with her 2003 Ford Explorer. Prokop was thrown 70 feet and died at the scene. Reilly continued driving and pulled into a nearby gas station. She was confronted by the driver of the tractor trailer in the gas station parking lot, but Reilly denied it was her that hit the woman and that it was another red SUV. She then flipped off eyewitnesses at the gas station and drove off, passing by the crumpled body of Prokop. She drove home, parked the car in the garage and told her husband she had hit a tractor trailer.
Luckily, the truck driver got involved as he and a clerk were able to get a partial tag from Reilly’s vehicle before she drove off. Using what they had, police where able to track down Reilly’s husband, who the vehicle was registered to. He allowed police to look in his garage where the vehicle was parked and damage was clearly visible on the vehicle.
Lisa Reilly is one piece of work, people. In May she was arrested on a charge of domestic violence. She offered a deputy $100 and a sex to let her go. Reilly, who works for Disney World as a custodian, is now charged with leaving the scene of a crash with a fatality and is being held on no bond.

i mean, how much must it suck to have your mom’s criminal past public record? That’s kinda the law’s fault, not ours, but still.
Yeah, if my mom was a slag who tried to bribe her way out of arrests by offering to blow officers or whatever, I’d be a total wreck. And if she then killed a pregnant woman and wiped her and her baby off the planet, depriving a whole other family of their wife and mom forever, well… damn. i’d be incredibly depressed, and angry, and hell, I’d probably take it out on a group of strangers who called my mom names.
‘Cause that would be a lot easier than dealing with the truth.
That’s what I think this is, too. She’s angry, but can’t be angry at her mother because she’s been trying to love her mother for a long time and it just keeps getting harder and harder. It must hurt a lot to hope that your mother will stop all the destructive stuff and become what you need her to be, yet she just keeps getting into deeper and uglier stuff.
Now, her mother is a killer, and there’s no coming back from that. She’s right, there will be no more days out, no more fun times, just visits to the prison visiting room.
I feel for this young girl, as foulmouthed and hateful as she is being to us. She recognizes that a woman and her baby are dead, and she is upset about it. Right now, the turn of events is too horrible for her to admit, so she yells at us.
It’s sad.
1st off if my mom was in jail I would be the first one to post her picture up here because unlike you I admit that my mom is a bitch. 2nd of all you should concentrate on your school work and forget that your mom is a skanky loser and 3rd please learn to spell OKAY???
My mother never killed another human being but if she did, I would expect that her mug shot would be here and comments made.

Hmmm…whenever I’m driving, I can feel when I hit a bump or a stick in the road…I was in a really bad car accident a while back and could totally feel when the other person’s car hit mine head on. So, I’m sorry if I’m not understanding, but how could she not know she hit someone else? Not like she was driving a huge tanker truck or something.

Well, I shouldnt ask because most of you don’t have any brains anyway. You talk smack to a child and blame the whole family for what has happened. If I saw any of you in person, I would spit in your face. You disgust me. BTW, Jennifer left her 2 children back home to be with this boyfriend in Florida. OMG! Did I just say that? YES I DID! Now what kind of person would do that to her kids??
She was only less than 6 weeks pregnant too. That’s why her BF didnt know anything about her being pregnant. Now, dont misunderstand what I’m trying to say. She didnt deserve to be killed. However, everybody has a dark past. But harrasing Lisa’s family is pathetic. Lisa said she didnt hit the woman. And yes, I’m calling the only witness a liar. THERE WAS ONLY ONE WITNESS AT THE SCENE! And he changed his story 5 times. “Maybe” the only witness hit her and wanted to blame Lisa. Keep your options open until the end. But Lisa raised three great kids and you all shouldnt punish them for being upset that you all are trashing their mom for everybody to see. Put yourself in their shoes. You all don’t have every detail about this tragedy. The media didnt disclose everything to you. So why dont you all just fuck off and leave everybody alone.
Tanz, with all due respect this story hasn’t been commented on for a week. So saying “fuck off and leave everybody alone” was really kind of stupid, since it appears to be what everyone had already done.
However, I know how important it was for you come here and spill everything you know about the poor victim. Lets face it, you came back to pour some gas on a fire that had already burned out.

Tanzanite, ,here’s a thought. Keep the minors off our site. It’s not that hard to monitor a kid’s internet whereabouts and say “now’s not a good time to be Googling mommy, because lots of people are going to be saying mean things about her now”. If you don’t in fact have personal contact with the alleged teenager in question, then perhaps you should make contact with someone who does and suggest they parent her better than her mama did.
If in fact this girl is really Lisa Reilly’s child, I think I made it plain that my sympathies lie with her as well as with the victim’s family.
Trashing a dead victim is easy. Dropping a minor charge in the face of vehicular manslaughter or leaving the scene of a fatality accident is also SOP. Forensic evidence in Lisa Reilly’s garage indicated it had been her vehicle that hit the victim.
If it were your friend who was dead, you’d be on our side and we’d be trashing whoever left her there and had a human-sized dent in their car. But since your friend allegedly did the hitting, you’re gonna trash the victim, and that’s just poor public relations for her and for you. It doesn’t make your girl look innocent, it makes you look like an ass.
You better start working up a good amount of spit. I guarantee you that the segment of society that is sickened and disgusted by Lisa Reilly’s attitude and behavior is far greater than those willing to defend it.
Luckily, most here also have the integrity to “walk the walk” at the same time. I’d ask for a “show of hands” but the bandwidth use would crash the server. This site and its members has empowered me to be much more vocal and pro-active in my “real life” also.
Integrity starts somewhere but I think defending people who have killed someone (on purpose or negligently) isn’t where it is. Bash the victim and any pretense of integrity goes out the window.
I too feel sympathy for Lisa’s children, they are going through a hard time, however, from what their “mother” has done in the past and the murder she committed, we can pretty much tell what kind of parent she really is. We won’t EVEN go into the communicating skills her daughter has displayed. Now onto you, First off, the bribing/sex charge being dropped means nothing…doesn’t mean she didn’t DO it, just means they are going for the bigger charges and don’t need this one. It doesn’t take a good person to come on here and trash a dead woman. I don’t care if she danced naked down main street in front of TV cameras, SHE didn’t MURDER someone. THAT sweetness is all that matters. Oh, and if someone in MY family did what Lisa bitch did? I would NOT be defending them, I may still love them, but I would be ashamed as well, have no doubt though that my sympathy would lie with the victim, no matter what and I wouldn’t attempt to trash talk the victim either to defelect the shame me or my family might be feeling…..believe me I can walk the walk and talk the talk.

I would just like to say that I knew Jennifer very well and I want you to know that yes I feel sorry for Lisa’s children because they have to do without her, BUT the fact remains that if you do a crime you must face the consequences. Just for all to know Jenny was 10 weeks pregnant not 6. Yes, 2 of her children were in another state, but they had just moved to Florida. And just one more thing, Jenny walked quite a bit so I am pretty sure that she was off the road quite a bit, and not in the turn lane.
I would like to say that I knew Jenny very well, she loved her kids but just didnt have the knack for raising them, but she was a good person and was very concerned about her kids. She knew she was pregnant because she talked to me about it. She was happy and trying to get settled in a new job and home. Has anyone heard anything about the court hearing for Lisa, I would love to know!!!!! PS I hope Lisa gets whatever the good lord feels is reasonsible. GOD BLESS YOU JENNY WE LOVE YOU

Even IF hitting Jenny was a “mistake”, leaving the scene; lying to witnesses and trying to cover it up was NOT a mistake. Had she stopped when she hit Jenny and stayed there - things would be very different. She might still be in some trouble for driving recklessly, but her crime was compounded by LEAVING THE SCENE and TRYING TO COVER IT UP.
Unfortunately, Lisa is a cowardly, selfish bitch. She neither thought of Jenny lying on the side of the road dead or dying - nor of her own family and what this would do to them. Instead, she ran like a pussy and lied to her husband. Now she’s lying to her kids as well. Honestly though - could we really expect anything else?

Criminal records are public information. Whay are you here argueing with people? That’s your mom, so you are going to be slanted on your perspective of things but come one, try to be objective. If you can’t deal with a message board, stay away from it. This isn’t the place for you right now or ever if you have a family member whose picture and story is posted here.
This isn’t the only place your mother’s criminal history is in print, it’s available for anyone to see at anytime as it IS public information.
