Lisa Reily and Jennifer Prokop
LAKE COUNTY, Fla. - Don’t let the sad look fool you. 37-year-old Lisa Reilly is a bitch. On July 2nd, Reilly passed a tractor trailer on the right and struck Jennifer Prokop, a 34-year-old pregnant mother of three, with her 2003 Ford Explorer. Prokop was thrown 70 feet and died at the scene. Reilly continued driving and pulled into a nearby gas station. She was confronted by the driver of the tractor trailer in the gas station parking lot, but Reilly denied it was her that hit the woman and that it was another red SUV. She then flipped off eyewitnesses at the gas station and drove off, passing by the crumpled body of Prokop. She drove home, parked the car in the garage and told her husband she had hit a tractor trailer.
Luckily, the truck driver got involved as he and a clerk were able to get a partial tag from Reilly’s vehicle before she drove off. Using what they had, police where able to track down Reilly’s husband, who the vehicle was registered to. He allowed police to look in his garage where the vehicle was parked and damage was clearly visible on the vehicle.
Lisa Reilly is one piece of work, people. In May she was arrested on a charge of domestic violence. She offered a deputy $100 and a sex to let her go. Reilly, who works for Disney World as a custodian, is now charged with leaving the scene of a crash with a fatality and is being held on no bond.

Either that, or, passing a vehicle on the right is not considered illegal or negligent in that jurisdiction. Vehicular homicide generally mandates that the death must be the result of illegal or negligent behavior on the driver’s part.

Hell, just yesterday I saw some jerk use a turn lane to pass someone on the right. I have to drive a total of 10 miles every day to go back and forth to school and I have at least one confrontation for every mile of that trip. TOTAL fuckin douchebags! I’ve never seen so many idiots concentrated in one area.

given Lisa the benefit of the doubt maybe when she passed the semi on the right she was looking in her mirror (s) or to the left at the trailer of that truck and did not realize she clipped a woman on the shoulder of the road… just maybe as the car went forward jennifers boy went up or down … I just don’t know … but I do think the forensic investigation does.

I’ve known her since the day I was born.
My family is grieving as well. I’ve lost a family member as well. Maybe not the same way, but I’m never going to be able to talk to her without someone constantly watching over us.
If this was anyone else I’d probably feel the same way you do. So I’m not fuming and arguing, but I don’t want her dead. I want her safe. I want her to be clean from pill. I want the women I grew up with back, but I’m going to have her back.
I wish none of this happened, but it did, and now its done. The law has taken over and all we can do it watch. Stop talking about her. You don’t know her. You only know her mistake.
Yes, she made mistakes. Yes, what she did was completely unforgivable. Yes, she never should have fled. And yes, she shouldn’t have drove will taking the medicine she had been taking.
I don’t know the women she hit. and I don’t know the womens family.
I do know that, none of you do either.
You say an innocent family is grieving, and yes they probably are.
But your going on what other people said. The driver of the truck that confronted Lisa said he saw everything in a mirror. None of you know for sure that this women had not been walking on the turning lane and Lisa hit her because of it.
Your all going on what you’ve heard, and for that you should be ashamed.

Did you miss the part of the article detailing her previous battery charge, and her attempt to bribe a police officer with SEX? She obviously has a history of not respecting the law or the people around her. I feel sorry for what you are going through, I know it’s not easy, but don’t forget the person responsible for your pain: your mother. Not to mention the pain she caused the poor family of Jennifer Prokop, who will NEVER get to talk to their mother/wife again, not even with someone looking on.

Her record above is not a mistake, its not even a couple of mistakes…it is a pattern. A pattern of selfish actions that did nothing but kill a woman and her child, and screw up the lives of many people around her.
