San Agustin Family Murdered By Coward
July 6, 2008 by Morbid
UPDATE – Chad took his sorry-ass to Mexico. He has been charged with three counts of murder and Mexican authorities have approved Huber’s extradition.

Andre Agustin, Angelo Agustin, Maribeth Agustin
WINCHESTER - Andres San Agustin, 48, his 36-year-old wife, Maribeth, and their 4-year-old son, Angelo, went for a drive near Hemet on Sunday night in their 1999 Chevrolet Malibu. Unfortunately, at the same time, on the same road, two vehicles where reportedly involved in some form a street race. One driver crossed over double yellow lines to pass his friends pickup and crashed his 2007 GMCgmc reviews
2500 head-on into the family’s car. WitnessesWitnesses reviews
stated that the driver got out of the truck and into the truck he was trying to pass. They then left the scene, leaving the family dead or dying.
The couple were pronounced dead at the scene, but Angelo still had a heartbeat. He was rushed to the Rancho Springs Medical Center, but died shortly afterward. Andres San Agustin was based out of Camp Pendleton serving with the 1st Medical Logistics Company, 1st Supply Battalion, and 1st Marine Logistics Group. He had joined the military in his mid-30s and had served seven months in Iraq doing medical support work. Andres San Agustin had recently moved into the area after 2 years of being stationed in Japan. The San Agustin family had just attended a family gathering and were possibly headed to their church’s weekly prayer meeting, a church in which Andres was a deacon.
Police have now identified the suspects, but had not released their names or made any arrests. I cannot wait until they do.
Here is a video from 10 Newsnews
out of San Diego.
Update 7/15/08 – Well here he is:

Chad Isaac Huber, the cowardly asshole who killed a family and is now too chickenshit to own up to it. I got some more info not being reported, but I am not going to post it yet. If you have any information on this asshole’s whereabouts, call the CHP Temecula office at 951-506-2000.
Update – The cowardly asshole who crashed into the family and fled the scene without rendering aid is Chad Isaac Huber, 30. Police need your help in locating him. His accomplice, Jarred Benjamin Abatti 23, was arrested on July 1st and is being held in the Southwest Justice Center with a bail amount set at $200,000. Abatti pleaded not guilty July 3 to felony hit and run resulting in death. More info and a picture of Huber at end of article.

This is another sickening story. It seems that more and more lately I have been running into more and more wreckless drivers. It is starting to piss me of beyond belief how these people risk the lives of others with no regard. I wish there was some way to change the requirements of getting a fucking license. And no offense to anyone, but is there a reason why the majority of these assholes are men? In the last 4 months I’ve almost been hit 4 times by someone pulling into traffic without looking first, 3 of them were men (all 4 of them were on their cell phones of course).

More people drive like they’re in a video game, instead of a real vehicle, then shit like this happens.
Oh ya, leave the vehicle there, THAT wont identify ya, dumbass! ugh

He may have been drinking. If that was the case, him leaving may have been morally wrong, but smart on his part. The way the laws are set up, if you are drunk and get involved in a DUI related incident, it’s best for you to leave the scene and then come back sober. The punishment will be lighter.
3:10 pm on July 6th, 2008
Holy crap Morbid, that’s incredible. So basically, even if they catch him, he would get less of sentence for crashing and leaving the scene (and not being drunk, presumably), than if he had stayed and they discovered he was drunk?????

The Ambriz Act, signed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger states that when a person goes to the Department of Motor Vehicles for their new or renewal license, they will sign a document saying that they understand drunk driving is dangerous and accept all legal implications that go with that understanding.
The Ambriz Act allows drivers who are involved in fatal accidents where they were under the influence of drugs or alcohol, to be sentenced up to life in prison under the charge of murder.
California Vehicle Code 20001 VC – Felony Hit and Run makes the crime of hit and run a “felony” if the other party was injured or killed. If the accident caused mere property damage, but no injuries, then the charge can only be a misdemeanor under Vehicle Code 20002.
For the charge to be a felony under Vehicle Code 20001 VC – Felony Hit and Run, the injuries must be to a third party-usually a driver or passenger in the other vehicle, or a pedestrian. If the only person injured was the driver who fled the scene of the accident, then felony hit and run may not be charged.
If the injuries from the hit and run were relatively slight, California Vehicle Code 20001 VC imposes penalties that can range from probation with no jail time, to up to 3 years of state prison.
If the hit and run accident killed someone or caused serious, permanent injury, Vehicle Code 20001 penalties range from probation with a minimum 90 days jail to up to 4 years in state prison.
If the person flees the scene of an accident after committing what amounts to Vehicular Manslaughter, Vehicle Code 20001 imposes five years of prison (in addition to the penalties arising out of the vehicular manslaughter charge itself).
The degree of punishment is likely to be influenced by several factors:
1. The extent of the other person’s injuries:
2. The number of other person injured;
3. Whether the defendant was intoxicated, or driving recklessly when the collision happened;
4. Whether the defendant, some time after the accident, came forward to take responsibility;
5. Whether the defendant called 911 or took any measures to secure aid for the victim(s);
6. The defendant’s prior driving and criminal record, if any; and
7. Whether the defendant was adequately insured to compensate the victims for their losses.
*****************************************************************************
Unfortunately it sounds like fleeing the scene if you are drunk and you know you killed people is a much better option. Life vs 5 years is a huge difference. I personally think that if you run from a fatal hit and run the penalty should be the same as if you stayed and took your lumps at the time of the accident.

When you refuse a road side alcohol test, you are automatically charged with impaired driving (at least, you are in Newfoundland). The same should go for leaving the scene. If you take off after a collision, you should be charged with impaired once you are arrested. A man here left the scene after running down a 14-year-old boy, killing him. He admitted to drinking all that day yet because his levels could not be proven, he was not charged with impaired driving. His sentence? 6-fucking-months. He was also a former military police officer. If the law had stated that fleeing the scene resulted in a charge of impaired, or even if we had zero tolerance, he would have gotten a harsher sentence. Although, I am in Canada, so, who knows?
May this lovely family rest together in peace. My thoughts and prayers go out to their loved ones. To lose someone you love in a way that is so preventable has to be absolutely devestating. My heart goes out to them.

I worked with a young guy that was responsible for a death while he was racing. From what I understand, he started racing with this guy he didn’t know down a city street and he ended up crashing into a car that had pulled out in front of him. The other guy just sped away and my co-worker is still in jail.
I can understand that there is an adrenaline rush from things like that, but how stupid can you be?! I know this 20 year old kid probably regrets that moment every single day, while he is sitting in jail, away from his wife and new baby.

Reading about this terrible tragedy that COULD have been avoided makes me so angry and utterly sad. An entire family is gone because of a POS, dumbass, MF! I hope they get this bastard soon.
Rest in peace, Andres, Maribeth and little Angelo.

Morbid will probably want to address this himself (right, dude?), but we’ve gotten a couple of very interesting emails today about this case.
Sounds like there may be an arrest coming pretty soon.

Morbid? Please do tell!

All rumor and hearsay at this point. Basically, they have arrested the getaway driver and know who the other driver is. Also, the driver was drunk and this would be his third strike. He is married and has kids. There was blood in the truck so they should have been able to do a test on it to see how intoxicated he was.
We have been contacted by a friend of the family who has some pictures of the family as well that they may share with us. The one in this story is a recent one (looks like a trip to some Lego type theme park.)
Anyway, I foresee some mugshots coming up shortly.

The words Selfish Bastard come to mind.
10:45 am on July 8th, 2008
Still no word on the monster that did this? They haven’t released his name yet, huh?

That family looked lovely, what a tragedy! I am looking forward to those mugshots!!

Thanks for the update, Morbid. It sounds like they’re gonna get Huber pretty soon, and about time, too.

You can run, but you can’t hide asshole! Ask Chester Arthur Styles, Cesar Laurean, and Nicholas T. Sheley. Good luck chickenfuck, you’re gonna need it!

Glad they found this piece of shit! Time for justice for that poor family.
4:09 pm on August 22nd, 2008
He should have personally apologize to evey member of the family that he stole these three people from. He should also have to review all the pictures of them that could be detained. You know he killed that family and destroyed his own at the same time. His wife and kid will struggle to survive because he was showing off his driving ability (or lack there of apparently). Fucking dipshit.
4:36 pm on August 22nd, 2008
There are accidents and there are tragedies caused by selfish stupidity. This man killed a family and probably destroyed his own. Why ever was he born?
12:20 pm on September 25th, 2008
Soooo?
Did he get caught in Mexico? Did they prove he was intoxicated?
POS… Looks like the little bitch had been crying in that pic. He knows “his ass is fucked” in more ways than 1!
Blessings to those left behind to deal with this horrible tragedy. May your family members rest in peace.
