Lake Wales, FL – Nothing really says “I’m glad this bitch is not my mom” like Debra Crear Randall’s Parade of Mugshots. There’s the 2007 Expression Of Stoned Disdain mugshot. Then there’s last week’s Sorrow In Cornrows version. But my favorite is the 2002 You Done Messed Up My Hair mugshot. It’s descriptive without being overstated. It lends itself to a history of Prior Bad Acts. It’s kind of psycho, abusive mom without going all “oooh, she needs help.” That 2002 mugshot just says, “Wow, Tiera Crear, sorry your mom is a big ol’ bag of mean.”

As for Ms. Randall, I hope she has many, many years of “sorrow in cornrows” ahead of her. Somehow, though, I doubt it. This is Florida, you know.

Wow, FL is sure lax on their laws there I got a charge of assault without intent, not on a child, but a man…long story. A weapon was involved. I’m still on probation for another 100 days, rightfully so. Had to take an anger management class that lasted 26 wks, again rightfully so. Why was nothing preventative put into place to at least try to stop this crazy bitch from beating her kids? Poor kids!

Obviously, you feel you got what you deserved. You are an example of how a sentence/punishment should work. If only every person convicted of a crime felt that way; we wouldn’t have asshat parents like this one raising kids! It’s pretty bad that you went through all of that for assaulting a grown man and she so violent and got to keep her kids!

Yeah? Well, she is your mother, and the child she is abusing is your sister. If you have so much money maybe you should use it to: get your mother some help for her alcohol problem, get her a shrink, get Tiera a shrink (since she’s probably traumatized by having her mother attack her), get some childcare assistance for Tiera’s little sister…and so forth?
You say there is more to your mother than the fact that she keeps fucking up. Well, then, maybe you can do more to help her be all that she can be than just keep bailing her out and venting your anxieties over the internet? I’m sorry about the difficult situation for your family, but there are more productive ways to apply your energy.

So, if someone beats their child one day, but once in a while, they do good things too… that makes it ok? I dont get this mentallity? Sadly, newspapers dont usually name off a list of their accomplishments along with thier assult record.
She is NOT a good person… she hurts her child! Stop defending her, and allow her to get help!

Apparently the dumbass doesn’t fall too far from the dumbass mother, too. How can it be that people as ignorant as the writer of this letter are having (doubtless destined to be) dumbass children. And you know how the fights escalate? Don’t disregard that, DD! You drag Mom threw mud she might have little problem with alcohol again.
Dumbass hate mail writer has three kids of her own “that’s living with me.” I wonder how many she has living with someone else?
Analyzing this letter could be someone’s Ph.D. thesis.

Judging by the color (bilious yellow) of the sclera (whites) of your mom’s eyes, I’d say she has more than a “LITTLE” problem with alcohol.”
I’m a nurse, and there are several other nurses here, too. We’ve all seen people in end stage liver failure, either from hepatitis, or, more likely in your mom’s case, alcoholic cirrhosis brought on by years and years–often decades—of chronic alcohol abuse. Your mom’s eyes are a dead giveaway. I’ll bet she also has a hugely distended abdomen (from chronic ascites) but is otherwise skinny, on stick-like bird legs (from never eating–preferring to drink her meals instead.)
Maybe her craziness and physical abuse of your siblings can be blamed PARTLY on organic brain damage/dementia secondary to chronic alcohol abuse. Making excuses for her, however is not helping your siblings. Get them the hell out of there, and let your mom (if she chooses to) continue to abuse her OWN body–not the bodies of innocent children.
