LEE COUNTY, Ga. – I know this video is making the rounds everywhere, but goddamn I just had to get this one posted here as well. I PRAY this kid suffers greatly for this stunt. I mean, I did some really, really stupid shit in my day…but launching a baby in the air like that and then laughing? Wow. Read on to watch the video of a teenager placing a baby on an inflatable pillow, then jump on it, launching the infant a few feet in the air, landing on its face.
This 16-year-old jackass put up this video on YouTube, showing him using a pillow to launch an eight month old baby through the air. The child was left in the care of the family of the teen who was shooting the video. This jackass is now charged with felony cruelty to a child after a Lee County school teacher was shown the video by another student and then called police. The boy filming the act has not been charged.
“It’s not going to be funny when the judge gets through with him, he’ll think twice next time you know, about how funny it was,” Lee County Sheriff Harold Breeden says. Amen, Lee County Sheriff Harold Breeden, amen.
Update 7/8/08 - At first it was reported that the boy behind the camera could not be charged with a crime as there was no way to prove that the boy knew what the other teen was about to do. But now, rumors of a second video seem to be a fact and the boy behind the camera is facing the same charges as his friend.

Making him fly into the air and land on his face, I would have time with each of them. My fist, their faces. I wonder how many times shithead did it? It was apparent the baby was trying to get away, get off that pillow. This wasn’t a one time thing in my opinion.

And this boy’s family was “caring for” this baby? Are they in trouble too? They should be. Leaving a precious 8-month-old baby alone with this teenaged boy was a major lapse in judgement on their part.

(I’m sure the number of times I’ll hug my own 8-month-old grandchild tomorrow will be even greater than usual, thanks to this story.)

I couldn’t make heads nor tails of “Image 2.” Maybe that’s a good thing. Basically, you hit a testicle hard enough, it ruptures. This is usually a sports injury, but I think it’s a good notion for this guys.
