His friends are as disgusting as he is. What a dumbass–what will he miss doing with him? Killing people? And knowing him was a privilege?

WOW NATHAN! HOW LONG HAD I KNOWN U? SINCE U WERE 8. U WERE SO IRRATING BUT SINCE U AND GREGORN BECAME BEST FRIENDS I LEARNED TO LIKE YA LOVE YA ACTUALLY LIKE U WERE MY COUSIN OR SOMETHING. I HAVE BN PROUD OF U FOR TAKING CARE OF URSELF SINCE UR DAD WAS GONE, BUT U WASN’T TAKING CARE OF URSELF U WERE LOSING IT. I normally advocate avoiding dudes who don’t read because…well, because they’re morons, but hey! Now they might even be murderers!

But there are people who, no matter how ideal the circumstances of their upbringing, will be predatory and callous.

I think a lot of such kids would not have made it to adulthood in earlier times. They are the sort that get run over by a wagon, fall down a well, get kicked by a horse. Disobedient, unhelpful, reckless little creeps. But today kids get nurtured past that phase and some turn out well and some turn out like these two.

They could have just browsed through the ole D’D archives, found a child molester or baby killer and gotten a thrill from offing them.

I am surprised that more family members don’t go after the rats who killed people in their family. But I guess by the time the perp is released, the family has suffered so much loss that no one can face having one among them disappear into prison for murder.

It’s all about opportunity; convenience. They target availability far more than specific qualities.

Dexter is a great concept, though.

Quite apart from the fact that vigilantism is wrong, I think you’ll find that these sorry excuses for young men would have never had the guts to go after a bastard. Why, they might have gotten hurt themselves!

That’s the problem nowadays, no one wants to be responsible for their actions, which drives me nuts!! They give them a “mental illness” label and they get a free pass!! And I don’t think that is justice to the family of the victim that are left behind.

Y’know, (and I’m thinking of Dexter here) if you are one of those people who likes to kill “for the hell of it,” why not kill bad guys? If it was just for the thrill, why not kill a bad guy?

It’s really creepy for me to think that some people are just born with the capacity to be more destructive than the rest of us. Now, this doesn’t excuse their actions, by ANY means. But there are people who, no matter how ideal the circumstances of their upbringing, will be predatory and callous. It creeps me out even more to know that there are enough of them that they occasionally pair up to conduct their depraved activities. I’m glad these kids were caught; their behavior would have only gotten worse and cleaner.
