Anthony Waters Was Beat To Death

Cleveland - The man in the picture is 42-year-old Anthony Waters. While he had family, he had no money and was considered homeless. Reports state that he battled alcoholism and was residing at a homeless shelter. He stayed in contact with his mother, who lived nearby, and whenever he went to visit her he used back roads instead of the main streets. On Wednesday night, three teenagers beat Waters to death on one of these side streets.

His beating death was captured on video by cameras mounted on G&M Towing Company. The video shows Water’s being beaten while he tried to defend himself. Water’s made it to the parking lot of the towing company, where employees tried to help him. One of them even got into his vehicle and chased the teens, but lost them.

When EMS arrived on the scene, Waters told them he was ok and did not need to any help but he was rushed to the hospital when his condition started getting worse. He then died from a ruptured spleen, several broken ribs and a blow to the head.

The teens were described as black teenagers anywhere from 13 to 18-years-old. One of the teens was riding a silver BMX bike and was wearing plaid shorts, another was wearing blue jean shorts, was approximately 5-foot-6 and weighed around 195 pounds. The third was wearing a white t-shirt and a white baseball cap. Cleveland Police have been ordered by the mayor to do “whatever it takes” to arrest these assholes. Police ask anyone who may have witnessed the attack, or who may have information about the attackers, to call Crime Stoppers at 216-252-7463.

Unfortunately for Waters, some of Athena’s genetically impaired public were nearby and chose not to help out in any way as the video shows witnesses slowly driving by to watch the beating, before continuing on. It’s too bad that that the employee at the towing company who attempted to chase them down, who was also a genetically superior human being in the same line as myself, lost these idiots before the police could come and apprehend them.

LOL. Poor guy though, I saw this on foxnews’ website the other day, how could a young teenager do this? Why? I just dont get it… And the people who drove by, dont even get me started

You don’t have to start. I’ll do it for you. They are cowardly pieces of shit and if they weren’t cowards, then they were selfish, asshats who felt it was “none of my business”. What shits. Damn this, “gene of inaction” must have spread faster than the AIDS epidemic – everyone’s got it now a days.

Ya know, if the “experts” and “professionals” keep throwing excuses and “defenses” for such sorry behavior out there – someone sorry excuses for human beings will keep using them.

I wonder what makes three teen thugs decide they’re going to spend the evening beating a helpless man. What is it with the pack mentality? People used to be ashamed to be three to one in a fight, now it’s like some brotherhood bond.

I walk the back alleys of my hometown all the time. I like to look at the backs of the buildings (weird hobby, I admit). I wonder why this man chose that route. I feel so sorry for his mother.

Wow, another story where folks look on while someone is beat to fucking death. How fucking sad.

I wonder if these drivers even called the police? It appears that they didnt even have the decency to do that (unless it just wasnt reported). Is it just me, or do these chickenshit witness stories seem to be cropping up more and more often all of a sudden? Is it just being reported more, or are more and more people unwilling to help others? What do you guys think?

Yeah, that “genetic predisposition” to watch or “freeze up” seems to speading faster than the AIDS epidemic in Africa.

Its society’s mentality, don’t bother, its nothing to me. I don’t care about my fellow human. A sad regression of the human race, if you ask me.

Solange, we must have been typing at the same time. Above is my thoughts. People are sorry. They are unwilling to help. They are only concerned for themselves – that equals chickenshit or a very sorry human being at the very least.

You don’t see a pack mentality right here before your very eyes?

What you see here is not pack mentality. What you see here is like-minded people agreeing with each other. Pack mentality would be an alpha member here expressing an idea, and then people agreeing with that person solely because it was the alpha’s decision, not their own.

Personally, I have yet to see that here…as obvious by your response, as well as the differing opinions apparent on almost every story posted.

I am new. Actually, I’ve been reading for a long time, but I never created an account until now. I love this site; however, I’ll always speak up when there are writing and editing issues. It’s nothing personal; I just feel like that’s something I can contribute. I hope no one gets insulted by it. You’re not, right?

Absolutely not. It’s a running joke around here in regards to my spelling and disregard for all things grammatically correct. We used to have an editor of sorts, but she got a new boyfriend and hasn’t been seen since.

Ha! Ok. On that note, I’m always looking for employment in an editing position. :)

Also, as per the article content itself: I want to throw out a term that I may have just coined (don’t know, but I’d like to take credit for it)…

“Clockwork Orange Syndrome.” Have most of you seen this film? Do you remember the way that Little Alex describes the homeless men he assaults? He has genuine hatred for them–sees them as less than human. I’m wondering whether this social trend in beating homeless people has something to do with the attitude that oppressed people wind up as oppressors–i.e. the need to lower someone else not to your level, but to a lower level. There’s no excuse for it whatsoever, but from a purely objective standpoint, I’m curious as to what makes young punks target homeless people as though they aren’t people at all. It’s worse than sad–worse than frightening; it’s symptomatic of something larger. There are people who believe that violence is the answer to any question you’re too ignorant to understand.

Lizard, to my knowledge a “pack mentality” is one where….one member of the herd takes off running, let’s say, and all the other fuckers follow, without any thought of why they’re doing it. They just follow the others…animals have fucking followed each other off the edges of cliffs and shit…to their death. Like a herd of antelope or water buffalo…ya know?

That’s why I am trying to figure out what Harley meant by his statement. I know I don’t run in a fucking herd. ;)

“We used to have an editor…”

    LMAO.

Poodlesaint, since you’re new, I’ll fill you in. Although my name is Athena, I’m more like Sisyphus, who was condemned to push a bolder uphill for eternity as punishment for repeatedly fooling Hades. The “editor” title is my punishment for expressing my opinion about the site having no editor. I did not volunteer; I was rather assigned the task of editing. As a result, I am, admittedly, not the most dependable editor a website has ever seen. ;)

That being said, I do bother to fix things here and there when I happen to peruse the front page. Of course, the other issues is that these fucking people don’t sleep and are primarily located on the east coast. With people posting stories at all hours and me 3 hours behind to boot, however shall I keep up?

Go ahead and submit your resume. I’ll put in a good word for you. :)

    “Passive-aggressive”? I’m sorry – would you prefer I be more direct? I’m sure I could manage…

Other than that, I’m great. Keeping a close eye on a story about an aparment fire my neighbors and I watched at 1am Sunday morning that claimed the lives of three people. Word on the street is, fireworks were tossed at an apartment after a dispute. Dumbasses. I’ve never been that close to a fire, before. It was crazy; almost cartoonish (think Sin City rather than Tom & Jerry) . :)

Incidentally, now that I’ve actually bothered to read the article (which is a good thing, since the typos weren’t limited to the title) –

This story is vastly different from the Modesto story, for a couple of reasons. The main one is that, in the Modesto story, all the witnesses stopped – some made physical attempts at intervening, others called the cops and others yet screamed at the man to stop. But, as far as we know, they all did something (even if it wasn’t enough). The other one is that, we’re talking significantly different environments. This happened in an urban setting. Witnesses who did nothing in this case probably weren’t as scared as they were desensitized. Unlike a rural situation, people in crime-ridden, urban areas are far more likely to consider things “not their problem”. THAT is unexcusable.

I will not fault the person who is too terrified to physically intervene; physiology may very well be preventing them. I will absolutely fault the person who doesn’t care enough to bother, however, which seems to have been the case, here.

This mindframe is, in my opinion, one of the great faults of urban areas. Once, when I lived in the hood, a man was hitting his girlfriend just feet from me, in the parking lot. I screamed at Mike (who was inside) to call the police while I smashed the end off a glass bottle and approached the man. The man immediately backed off his girlfriend, got into his car and left.

The funny thing was, after all was said and done…I was the bad guy. The girlfriend was mad at me because “it wasn’t a big deal”. Another neighbor was mad at me for involving myself in something that wasn’t my business (in reality, the woman-beater was his drug dealer, and he wouldn’t be able to get deliveries anymore). The hood discourages “do-gooders”. Still, it’s a goddamn shame that so many allow themselves to be discouraged.

Here’s another angle: I didn’t even hear about this story where I live, but if it had been 3 white teens who beat a black homeless man to death I’m sure CNN, FOX news, etc….. would have had 24 hour coverage! Jesse Jackson, Al Charlaton, and all those types would be holding press conferences and calling for boycotts of Cleveland. Then HBO would make a preachy movie about it starring Denzel Washington as the homeless guy! I’m not trying to offend anybody, but everyone says America doesn’t like to face it’s racism (only when it’s PC), so that’s my rant!

No offense, but that cracks me up. Fox “News” is PC? That’s news to me. It would be news to them, too, I’m sure, and they’d be upset to hear it. LOL, if they’re so PC wouldn’t they want to do a story on how the perpetrators in this case were victimized by society? In my experience, what they love best, actually, are stories about white girls getting into trouble–anything that will allow them to show a little tits and ass while they hypocritically preach about morality out of the other side of their mouth. And if Fox had Jesse Jackson on, it would be solely to make fun of him. “PC” isn’t the issue here. Nor is the fact you haven’t seen this story on CNN or Fox News indicative of their racism toward white people. After all, I haven’t seen any of the stories on DD on either network, including those involving white-on-black violence.

“victimized by society”……the excuse PC people use to defend criminals. Yes, it was society’s fault. Those poor teens were so poor and grew up in the ghetto they could afford BMX bikes and probably $200 sneakers. Talking to PC people is like clapping with one hand!
