Yolanda Begay Wasn’t Happy

PhoenixPhoenix reviews
, AZ – If there’s any justice in the world, Yolanda Begay won’t be driving her 2006 red Dodge Ram truck anywhere ever again. Begay, 34, hit her husband Shawn Begay, 37, with the truck on SaturdaySaturday reviews
, killing him. Oh, and she did it on purpose.
The Begays weren’t gay in any sense of the word. Maybe if they had been, none of this would have happened. Instead, they were good and pissed – and they had somewhere to be. The couple started arguing well before they were due to arrive at a friend’s house. Once they got there, the fighting subsided. But after they left the party, the Begays’ argument picked up where it left off – in the truck.
Shawn Begay, who wasn’t driving, had enough of the yelling and got out of the truck. I imagine the scene was very “don’t you walk away from me” on Yolanda’s part, and “screw you, I’m walking” on Shawn’s end. So Yolanda just decided to hit him with the truck. Which she did, by driving up onto the sidewalk.
And now Yolanda Begay is both a widow and a murderer. Begay was arrested by the Phoenix Police Department and is being charged with first degree murder. I really hope winning that argument was worth jail time to her, because she’s gonna do a lot of it.

Now my husband and I have had various arguments and yes, some of them were heated, but it never once occurred to me to run him over with our car.
Question: Why is she being charged with first degree murder? It sounds like more of a crime of passion and was not premeditated. Isn’t that the difference between first and second degree murder? Please advise. Thanks!

I am hoping they have no children but… chances are them in their 30’s probably yes… Dad always enforced us to think before we speak… I think once she went on the sidewalk they decided it was intentional. That would be for her attorney to battle and deal for the lesser of the charges.
LOL good one…
I agree in most all these stories… I often wonder if it’s worth it… very doubtful… Isn’t that what keeps us straight … maybe if rent and cost of living wasn’t so high they wouldn’t be fighting to get in the prisons — after all free rent, food, clothes, medical, schooling, etc.

Thanks PatG, Welcome to the DD. Although that is heartbreaking, its still not an excuse for murder. My heart goes out to those poor kids.
