It always shocks me to happen upon Rowan’s picture here. Such a beautiful child, and knowing what she went through just takes my breath away. The whole part about her going to church early to get away from the fat pig, the fat pig crying on the news about how “she called me daddy!”, this was one of the most horrific stories I’ve ever read. I am going to send Janice a message on myspace, see if she replies. If she does, I’ll let you guys know how she is

No Lizard. It was a pregnant woman and her two kids who left her uncle’s house in FL headed home to Michigan or Minnesota or someplace like that. Then they seemed to disappear. Everyone suspected foul play from Uncle, as no one could even confirm them being on the bus. But they were ultimately found safe.

Thing is, I’m searching the forums and coming up empty. The Missing Persons section only goes back to early this year. I don’t remember when it was, exactly. Ah, well. They were safe, Wry. That’s all I can tell you right now.

Wry, that family was found safe. They had gotten off somewhere no one had expected, and didnâ€™t realize anyone was worried about them. I will see if I can dig up the link, but I do remember, they were ok!

Yes, Imp. Please check out the young pregnant black woman who got on a bus with two kids and disappeared somewhere between her uncleâ€™s home and the rest of her familyâ€™s. It was a journey of some distance between states if I remember right. I have kept wondering if she was ever found. I donâ€™t remember how long ago it was posted, perhaps a couple of months.

Wry, that family was found safe. They had gotten off somewhere no one had expected, and didn’t realize anyone was worried about them. I will see if I can dig up the link, but I do remember, they were ok!

Seeing Rowan’s beautiful little face made me cry.

Thanks for the updates Imp. I hate to think that those two fucking pigs are still breathing up oxygen when Rowan will never take a breath of air again. Makes me sick and makes my heart hurt.

I really do, too. They will not be put in general – it would be too dangerous for them. Sadly the state MUST protect them. Now don’t that just make you want to puke? Damn.

But I’ve got to tell you I’ve been kind of a wreck all day with Rowan back up on the front page. I can’t look at her face without getting all teared up. Hers was the story that brought me to DD, and her story haunts me more than any other I’ve seen since.

I don’t know how I’m going to get through the trial, when it comes. Damn. I know it doesn’t make anything any better for that little girl, or her family, but I will never forget her.

Poor baby Benjamin. I seemed to have missed that case. I wish I did this time around too. He looked so much like my son didâ€¦ My heart is broken. I sat at my desk and fought back tears forever after reading that. I am speechlessâ€¦ ::sob::

Yeah, I know what you mean. His death description is so horrible, it still haunts me daily.
