Stafon Thompson and Brian Flowers on Dreamin' Demon

Stafon Edward Thompson and Brian Lee Flowers

Minneapolis, MN – Katricia Daniels and her little boy, Robert Shephard, were just hanging out at home last Wednesday night. Katricia’s boyfriend Joseph Williams was working an overnight shift, leaving Daniels, 36, at home with her ten year old son. By Thursday morning, they were dead. Now Stafon Edward Thompson, 17, and Brian Lee Flowers, 16, have been arrested in their murders.

Brian Flowers told police that Thompson killed Katricia Daniels with a knife and a golf club “because he wanted her car”. Flowers also told investigators that Thompson killed Robert Shephard by smashing a TV set over the child’s head. The medical examiner’s report states that Katricia Daniels was stabbed and cut over a hundred times.

Of course, Stafon Thompson’s story is a little different. He says that Brian Flowers killed Daniels as part of a robbery – an interesting story, but it doesn’t really wash since the only thing actually taken was Daniels’ cell phone. Thompson also said that Flowers wanted ten-year-old Robert killed because he was a witness. However, Katricia Daniels’ one year old daughter was left bloodied, but alive.

It hardly matters who did the killing – the fact is, both boys were in the home when Katricia Daniels and her child were killed. Bloody spatter and handprints were all over the home Thursday morning when Joseph Williams came home from work. He found his girlfriend dead in the bathroom, while Robert was killed in a bedroom.

The motive clearly wasn’t robbery, and it doesn’t appear that Daniels or her children were sexually assaulted. So what the hell happened?

Katricia Daniels has a fifteen year old son who lives in ChicagoChicago reviewsChicago reviews, and the suspects knew Daniels through that son. Some family and friends believe the murders may have been gang-related, but that doesn’t explain the extreme violence and gore of the killings. Right now, there doesn’t seem to be a clear-cut motive for Thompson and Flowers to have killed a woman who they called “Mom”. There’s even less motive for the killing of an innocent young boy in his own bedroom.

Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman told the press, “We don’t know why this murder was committed and we may never know why. The level of violence associated with this crime is difficult to comprehend and difficult to imagine,” Freeman said.

Stafon Edward Thompson and Brian Lee Flowers have each been each charged as adults with four counts of first-degree murder. They are being held in the Hennepin County Jail on one million dollars bond apiece. If convicted, the boys face life in prison without the possibility of parole.

I was in the middle of writing this one up, but got distracted by Kathy’s sexual harassment. What got me with this one, aside from the fact these these two did this, was the fact that they slammed a television set on to the head of a crying 10-year-old boy who had to listen to his mother being brutally murdered.

Here are the charges against Flowers

and here are the charges against Thompson

Both interesting reads and full of details.

What selfish pieces of SHIT these two are. I don’t care which one of them did the stabbing. They were in this together and hopefully they will rot in jail together, ultimately becoming statistics that our hard-earned tax dollars pay to eat, watch tv and breathe.

That poor boy–I am almost glad they let him go with his mama- He wouldn’t have much of a life here on earth after witnessing that brutality—I hope there is some kind of family that can care for the baby and help her remember her mama and not the evil last images.

I personally believe that alive is (almost) always better than dead, especially a 10 year old boy. True however, that they are two selfish peices of shit.

I also entertained the thought of writing this one up, however by the time I was done sexually harassing Morbid, it was already up.

What struck me was the absolute brutality and complete senselessness of the murder. It was basically all for nothing. These pieces of shit do not deserve another chance at life. Anything left of their worthless lives should be spent behind bars and being haunted their victims screams.

These punks are the skid marks on the tighty whiteys of society.

    See? Psychopaths aren’t always white…

I do wish that they’d have waited until a little later in life to do something like this, however. Locking a 16 and a 17 year old up for life is gonna cost A LOT of taxpayer money.

This is the scary stuff to me — her son had friends like these? Or were they really friends or just “bros” he “hung with?” Relatives and friends on the criminal side will get you killed. God knows who they will introduce to your life. To me it’s like not being a penpal with some criminal in jail. Yeah, he/she MIGHT be the one there who’s innocent and turned to good, but who the hell knows who else is going to get ahold of your address?

These boys are so young. What the hell could have happened here?

“Stafon,” besides having an award-winning bad name, also has bizarrely high ears. Do we have a new category here? And they are pointed like an evil elf’s.

ah, tears form whenever I see pics of the victims…

I hope those 2 selfish, waste of lives stay behind bars for a LONG time…

This kind of case makes me wonder how so many bleeding heart liberals get into our justice system, whatever happened to saving our tax money used on televison, 3 hots and a cot and just paying an electricity bill for a nice wooden chair?
Here in michigan they outlawed the death penalty, In texas they put in an express lane, seems I should head for a warmer climate after college where the justice system lives up to its name and does not promote concetrated criminality. and there is some fine land to hunt as well, cant forget that lol.
why didn’t these guys take up a hobby like arts and crafts, woodworking or taxidermy? instead they have to harm the innocent for no reason and then live fat in prison while the morally upstanding taxpayers fall through the cracks and pay their bill in a prison system that treats inmates better than john q. taxpayer.

Megadeth, lots of people are against the death penalty, and it’s not about being liberal or conservative. Many conservative Christians, for instance, are against it. Personally, I am against it because I don’t want the state to have the right to murder its citizens. You give a state that kind of power, you may end up regretting it, know what I’m saying?

On the lighter side, the first place I thought of when you said “I should head for a warmer climate after college where the justice system lives up to its name and does not promote concetrated criminality” was some sort of Islamic theocratic country. That’s really what comes to mind with that description.

Lol good point, the good thing about this country is the no cruel or unusual punishment for crimes like sawing a 7 year olds hand off for stealing, but I do feel the death penalty admissable in certain cases.

Don’t even get me started on our “Government”. It’s too Big. Too many laws, etc….. Pork, sucking the money out of middle America making stupid regulations, mandates, etc….. To quote Jefferson, “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.” I take this to mean that a country needs a little civil unrest or even war from time to time. To clean out the fucking ass hole politicians living off the people.

good point, We as humans in my view are all equally worthless until we can prove ourselves in one way or another, be it the marine who saves his whole platoon during an ambush or the common man who saves a girl from being a rape victim in a dark alleyway.
