PEORIA, IL — On Sunday at around 10:30 a.m., a woman was putting groceries in her car at her local Krogers. She had her 7-month old child she had already placed in the backseat of the vehicle. 25-year-old Gary W. Miller Jr approached her, forced her into her car took her keys and abducted her and her baby. While driving, Miller performed a sex act on the woman, and then made the woman perform a sex act on him. Fearing for the safety of her and her child, the woman was able to talk Miller into parking the vehicle. He then took the woman back to Kroger where he got out of the vehicle and fled the scene.
Miller was caught after police released surveillance video of a suspect at a nearby McDonald’s Restaurant. A friend of his saw this video, recognized Miller and called police. Miller admitted his involvement. This asshat now faces 30 years in prison and is charged with aggravated vehicular hijacking, vehicular hijacking, aggravated criminal sexual assault and criminal sexual assault. Miller is currently residing in the Peoria County jail with a bond set at $500,000, so I doubt he is going anywhere soon.
Miller has several convictions, dating back to 1997 and has eight misdemeanor convictions and one felony conviction. In September 2007, he was sentenced to a year in the Peoria County Jail for domestic battery and resisting a peace officer. He had just gotten out of jail this spring.
If anyone out there who knows this guy finds this site, I am real interested on if this is even a surprise. I know that his previous charges were not sexual in nature, so looking at his past arrests do not point to him deciding to do something like this. Just curious if any other signs in his behavior might have hinted at something like this happening.

Keep people too busy and tired to rape their neighbors. In cases such as this it’s very possible that a weak man comes out with new ideas of how to harm people and a desire to humiliate others as he has been humiliated.
He made the baby perform a sex act on him. That just defies belief. A new low notch in what people will do to other people.

I think I’ve hung around DD long enough that I’ll believe anything can happen. But so far, babies have not been made to perform sex acts on carjackers.
