Olympia, WA - Capital High School student Ian Metz went to his first hour class on Wednesday morning, just like any other school day. Except… “It’s going to sound completely out of nowhere, but there’s a man out there with a gun and pink boots,” Ian told his teacher.
Anya Adora, 33, was stalking the high school hallway wearing a dress, pink boots, and carrying a Taser. Okay, it wasn’t a gun, but dude. Transsexual in the high school hallway brandishing a Taser is bad enough, but those pink boots? So last year.
Adora, formerly named Eric Roy Beauregard, has yelled at the high school students before, but on Wednesday, his temper had reached its limit. On his Myspace page, there’s a Wednesday morning blog entry called “Dead Kids Aren’t Funny.” In it, Adora rants:
In about an hour or so, Teens from Capital High School will be parking out from of my house, and littering as usual… If i SHOOT ONE, perhaps the FIRST ONE TO PARK OUTSIDE, Can i PLEASE HAVE SOMEONE TO TALK TO ABOUT MY GENDER ISSUES ?
The time stamp on that blog entry is 7:11 a.m. He must have left his house, walked across the street and into the school, and started threatening. Police say that while Adora didn’t actually tase any students, he was brandishing the weapon and making threats.
Anya Adora has undergone quite the transformation over the last few years. A musician with some minor play on free websites, he has links to many of his tracks in his Myspace. It’s all electronica, so I have no idea whether the stuff is crap or not. Electronica pretty much just all sounds like crap to me. But there does seem to be a decent beat to most of it, so I guess with a rave and enough Ecstasy anyone could dance to it. One track sounds like a bad remix of New Order’s Blue Monday, but some of it sounds reasonably original, if kind of repetitive and, well, electronica. Anyway.
Adora has gone by the moniker Zkwirl (Squirrel?), Anya Anomaly, Simple Circuit, and People Who Don’t Need People. Presumably that last is a band, or else our boygirl has deeper identity issues than first thought.
Adora’s blogs are a wonder to behold, a veritable treasure trove of Wow, That’s Messed UP-ness. His LiveJournal says “An eye for an eye, a child must die” and “They will let me take one of theirs gladly.” The tags are just as crazy: “anya adora dead”, “capital high school tragedy”… yeah. Dude’s a wingnut.
On the Myspace page, Adora talks about recurring dreams of castrating men by whom he feels wronged in some way. There’s quite a list, including a lawyer and a judge. Even his comments are mostly violent rants to himself, except the one from Sean Hannity’s Myspace, telling Adora “You’ve Been Hannitized!”
Well, that explains it then. One cannot be both transgendered and Republican. It makes the brain go zzzzztt and synpases start misfiring. No wonder he wore the pink boots. Pink boots would never match a Taser, but it’s a very Republican fashion move.
Anya Adora was taken to the Olympia City Jail, where he was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct, both misdeameanors. However, police officials are working on getting a court order for a “safe-to-be-at-large” psychological assessment because of Adora’s threats and blog posts. Adora is currently being held pending that assessment.
SoJaded brought the links and pic to our forums - thanks!

As for Adora, that’s just messed up on so many levels. I’ve had several good friends that were crossdresers, and trannys, but they were fun. This person is just creepy.

I also would suggest moving this wacko away from the school cause fantasizing about killing children, and walking the halls with a taser and pink boots is a huge red flag.
As far as the pink boots, were they patent leather like stripper boots or suede or what? Hot pink, light pink, that would matter on my opinion of them as well as how well they coordinated with the rest of Adora’s outfit.

Of course someone like this (by which I mean angry and crazy) would end up living across the street from a school. Life is just too weird like that.

A whole line of adults in pinks boots brandishing tasers might be the sort of sight that makes kids change schools.

May 30, 2008 at 7:50 pm -No, it was a poetic effusion in the bubbaku form. I kept thinking about the boots and taser as a combination of images and the syllables arranged themselves in a bubbaku. Perhaps it was more of a limrick situation.
I think maybe we should list what we think the boots look like. I keep seeing go-go ankle boots of a very soft, bright pink leather with floating feathery fur of a darker shade around the tops. The taser, well, in my mind it just looks like a taser.
I’m glad this guy armed himself with just a taser and dressed outlandishly enough that he couldn’t pass for a parent.

Ankle boots? I see them more as the patent-leather knee-high type, - and with platform heels…… Are there any pictures that actually show them?

Jun 4, 2008 at 2:32 pm -Pink rubber boots. That’s very disappointing somehow. And he had a dress on. I can’t imagine what sort of dress would go well with pink rubber boots. Unless they were go-go boots that just happened to be made of rubber, but I’m now thinking they were ordinary, clunky rainboots. Well, I hope the guy gets the mental health care that he needs.
