Brittanny Carrigg

Bremen, GA – Brittany Carrigg, 17, went for a walk near her home on Wednesday night, and hasn’t been seen since. Brittany, a junior at Haralson County High School, reportedly left her home with her boyfriend between 9:30 and 10:00 p.m. Wednesday. Her boyfriend is said to be cooperating with authorities.

Brittany is 5′8″ and weighs 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and tennis shoes. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Searchers have been asked to pay attention to any wells in the five-mile area in Haralson County surrounding where Brittany was last seen.

Update  – Sometimes I post these things too fast.  Brittany was found safe just minutes ago and is now being questioned by police.  If she ran away, I am sending her a bill for my research.

Imp’s new rule of missing: If I post you as missing and you are old enough to know better, you had better be dead or lost in the woods with nothing to eat but slugs. That’s my new rule. Got that?

I won't be going for any extended overnight trips on your watch. SHIT! Slugs??? Really???

  • I got $10 that she got pissed, went for the "walk" called the BF, he picked her up, took her somewhere, ......
  • I FEEL YA, IMP!

Probably goes along with the initial idea we all had about her...

    Off with the Boyfriend

<IT SAYS SHE WAS FOUND IN THE NEWS BUT NOT WHERE SHE WAS? WELL THANK GOD SHE'S ALIVE
  • I live about 10 minutes away from this area, and I will tell you- The back hills of West Georgia are infested with methheads. I don't know why one of them might have done her in, unless she was assaulted, or pissed one of them off though. Haralson Co. is a very rough area.

The local Sheriff made it sound like the BF wasn't cooperating- He just kept telling the reporter (Fox 5) that the FAMILY was cooperating.--He told him that like 3 times-leading one to think that the BF wasn't being as cooperative as he should have been.

I think most of us out here just assumed that it was another teenager went off to hook up and didn't make it back before dark...Now she is still gone...

There were dive teams out late last night in some ponds- I don't know why they did it so late though.

(The wells usually have big concrete lids on them and would have had to be lifted off to jump or throw someone in, but some are open wells that just never got covered, I guess due to the cost of a lid?- Anyhow, they may think she fell into one.)

did something the boyfriend said make them focus on the wells? If so, this won't turn out good. Or in that area do they always just check? strange.
