Brent Stephens Is A Murdering Coward
Update 10\23\2008 - Found guilty and sentenced to life in prison. For full details, read this post. To the friends and family of all involved, we know that this ordeal is far from over, but we are glad that at least this chapter is now closed. Thanks for the updates and letting complete strangers know who Denise Stephens was.
Dallas, TX - Denise Stephens, 36, was the office manager for Dr. Edgar Nace for 8 years. She had three daughters aged 2, 5 and 8. She had been divorced from her husband, Brent Stephens, 38, for about a year. The reports state he has not been real happy about the divorce and demonstrated so on Monday morning. It is being reported that he waited for his wife to show up to her office at which time he beat her to death with a baseball bat in front of co-workers.
He then left the scene and was later spotted by a motorist on the side of the George Bush Turnpike over Interstate 35 with his feet dangling over the edge. The motorist called in what they had seen, thinking it a possible jumper. But Brent is a selfish coward of the highest order. A worthless human being who has ruined many, many lives including robbing his three children of their mother, in a hate filled act of unbelievable brutality. He then caused more grief by having traffic stopped as he engaged in a 90-minute standoff that ended with, surprise, surprise…him turning himself over to authorities. What a piece of shit.
He is now charged with murder and is in jail in lieu of $1 million bond. Hopefully, he will save the rest of the families the pain of a trial, and even save the taxpayers a bit of money, if he follows the lead set by a few other people featured on this site…and find a practical use for a bedsheet.
I hope it’s life without parole. And I too wish they’d just let him jump.

Thank God this is over for Betty and the girls and all the really special people in Denise’s life. She would be so proud of you all,, you really make a difference in this crime-ridden world, I wish there were more of you. May Denise rest in peace now..
Possibly a case of the defence having very little to work with? Difficult to establish reasonable doubt when someone is so careless of who sees him do the deed and gives no thought to covering up. And we already knew he was plain evil rather than crazy evil.
I hope this marks the end of the wounding and can be the beginning of the healing for Denise’s family and friends. May her daughters grow up strong.

What is the reason Event that you choose to call me ” Brain-Dead”? Why am I especially brain dead compared to anyone else who ever dated him. Thanks alot Bro…I guess I just disappointed you. Remeber we were ALL doing lots of LSD and I was very young. At least I never had ANYTHING to do with him again. I don’t beleive I ever spoke to him again but once on the phone..in which I nothing more to ever say. By the way readers…he called me because he was high on meth and materbating and wanted me to hear his orgasm. Pretty sick huh? Also to tell me he had a bisexual experience…as if I fucking cared! As if I didnt already suspect YEARS ago that he was gay! It never surprised me what he did. I’m glad that thing is in prison.

Why didnt anyone try to warn Denise what a fucking pervert he was? I would have loved for someone to have done that for me. I was lucky..I figured it out..Denise found out the hard way. Who cares about Brent…make a resolution to protect the innocent ones whenever you can. Dont keep your mouth shut. I didnt know Denise..she wouldnt speak to me because apparently Brent made her jealous of me or something..a sickening game player…he did the same shit to me as well. When she gave me dirty looks I could only feel so sorry for her. Please folks…Denise would probably tell you the same…warn a girl whenever you can…there ARE other Brents in the world. HE WASANT SPECIAL!
I’d love to see him live out his sentence in a Pakistani “death cell”.
It would be more suitable for him.

He will be about 70 when he gets released.

Since we can’t implement torture in the US. I think being in prison until he his 70 is still not good enough.
But if this is the best the Texas judicial system can dish out. I’ll accept it & consider it as a tax dollars partially at work.
Now, let’s start healing.
