LaPorte, IN - Daniel Kuespert, 20, likes long walks on the beach, horseback riding, camping, and babysitting his five-year-old niece and three-year-old nephew. According to police reports, he also likes to take his clothes off while babysitting, strip down the kids, and molest them. The abuse allegedly began last August and continued through April 30 of this year.
The three-year-old boy tried to tell his mother about Uncle Danny’s scary playtime back in January, but she didn’t believe him and continued leaving both her son and daughter with Kuespert through April. But then, while checking out the kids last week, she realized that oops, maybe her kids had been telling the truth all along. They each had physical symptoms that could have been caused by sexual abuse, so the mother got a belated clue and called police.
The kids told police that they didn’t like playing those games with Uncle Danny, and that they would run away after he had “finished” with them, and would hide when he came over. Police decided to call in Uncle Danny himself for a little chat.
Kuespert cried like a baby and copped to the whole thing. He told police that while his sexual abuse of the five year old girl was mostly of a “lesser degree”, he had abused the toddler boy more seriously on at least one occasion.
Daniel Kuespert was in LaPorte County Circuit Court on Friday for a preliminary hearing on three counts of felony child molesting. His trial begins October 6.

And why, oh why would the mother not listen to her child?? Even if she had her doubts, it was still worth investigating. My daughter is 3, and I know some of the things she says are pretty out there, but “Uncle ‘Whatevers’ Scary Playtime” would definitely raise a red flag.

What a cunt….even if she had some doubts about the boy’s story, it would seem like a good idea to be safe rather than sorry. And that’s what she is, a sorry POS. With all the other signs those kids were exhibiting, she probably knew it in the back of her mind, but hey a free babysitter is hard to find. I think I’m angrier at her than at him. He’s a pervert, and should get a bullet in his skull, because he’s mentally diseased and broken. But mom was supposed to be the protector of those kids, they came to her, thinking she would help them, and she delivered them back into that monster’s hands. Fuck her, I hope this eats her up everyday for the rest of her life. You never have a good excuse for ignoring something like that from such a young child. NEVER.

and who bathes these kids? I usually get a pretty good look at my two daughters to make sure they are getting places clean. how could this have gone on for 6+ months without anyone knowing?
