What is it with people named Buddy Smith or Ben Smith. According to B2B Marketplace, “Shortly after forming Spoke, Ben Smith was caught in a local police sting of child sex predators. According to police officers, posing as a 12 year old boy on a web chat site, Smith repeatedly made advances.”

At last ,the Uncle of Buddy Smith, William Senay, was brought to trial. This is over 3 1/2 years since these crimes were reported. The graphics of abuse described in this trial ,that this victim suffered at the hands of pure evilness were horrific. There is a large write up in the local paper. The arrogance and pure evil is astounding. I am deeply saddened for this victim and his family. I truly hope Mr. Senay and Mr. Buddy Smith suffer for the rest of time.

i read some of the comments from other people, he might not do the total amount of time, but i will tell you this, he is going to the place we call hell, first couple of weeks he will be on watch, or should i say suicide watch. hopefully he goes into what we call general population.since he is into anal and oral, he will make alot good friends. hes gonna be someones bitch. and we dont care if he screams. hes in for a new experience, he will sleep with his eyes open, one thing about prison, immates frown on people who rape the disabled, or hurt women and children, by the time he gets out of prison, his asshole is gonna look like a walkin closet. happy trails , see you at walpole

Reading the article,he got the 7-10 year sentence for the rape charge and a 7-10 year for the indecent assault.

I mean, concurrent 7-10 year sentences? I’m not too familiar with the laws in MA, but, if his sentences qualify for “good time”, he could be out in 4.

I’m with Abroad–thanks for the update! From the link, the judge “sentenced Smith to concurrent seven to 10 year sentences on the rape and assault charges to be followed by five years of probation on the witness intimidation count…

“As part of the probation conditions, Smith will be required to stay away from the victim and his family, register as a sex offender and enroll in sex crime perpetrator counseling. He is also not allowed to work with the disabled, or have access to telephone chatlines or a computer.”

This case really disturbs me on so many levels. We have been following it closely here in MA. There has been delay upon delay. Hearing after hearing. To learn that this young man actually pointed out in court one of the “others” who attended a hearing with Buddy Smith in 2006, and that this “other” POS was being PROSECUTED by the same District Attorney’s office for a sex offense crime on a child under 14 at the SAME time this young man pointed him out- AND WAS NOT investigated or charged in this crime is just over the top. The fact that this other POS was able to plea out his case on the child under 14, serve no time and go back out and reoffend is unexcusable. This POS is now living in Inverness, FL and is on the sex registry there. I don’t know if I can post the link to the page. I hope what this DA’s office has done is all exposed at this trial. What this state did to this young man is an abomination. It seems that this DA’s office has always known the “others” and has done everything to make this case go away because of their initial errors -their liability would be revealved having done not a single thing to protect this young man. I hope this whole pathetic thing is exposed at trial. I can’t imagine how this family feels. The obstacles and road blocks thrown in their path to seek justice for their son. We are all watching this case very closely in MA. This is a travesty of justice and I agree this state should be held accountable in every way possible.

Judge Frances McIntyre must not have read any of the reports or past records of this dufus. Senay already had already been revoked once for witness intimidation. Does he really think this guy will behave just because the almighty judge says to?

The victim seems to be the only CAPABLE mentally challenged person in this whole case.
