Paul Danao Just Keeps Getting Creepier

Bluffton, SC - I wrote an article about Paul Danao just a few weeks ago and published it here. It got some traffic, but not a lot. Probably because the guy was definitely creepy and kind of gross, but he didn’t seem like more than your garden-variety psycho perv to most readers, I think. He’s the guy whose van had been towed and was at a storage facility when some bomb-making chemicals and kiddie porn were found inside.
Now, it looks like Paul Danao might be a whole lot creepier than anyone thought.
Danao, 26, had gotten his van towed back in MarchMarch reviews
. It sat at the lot for six weeks until the storage facility’s owner’s girlfriend took a look inside – where she saw, in plain view, a picture of a child performing a sex act on an adult. When police were called in, the van had to be gone over by the bomb squad because there was a silver briefcase inside with bomb-making chemicals in it. There were also a lot of written materials lying around – one item of which was a journal. When I last wrote about Paul Danao, those things hadn’t even been gone through yet.
Now they have been, and investigators are very concerned about what Danao has to say. In the writings, Danao explored his thoughts on his “strong sexual urges” for children. He goes into great detail about plots to kidnap, rape, torture and murder newborns to middle school students, according to the police report. Some of the journal entries talk about his abducting large groups of children at once and holding them in dungeons. Danao told investigators that of course he hadn’t abducted any large groups of kids – that his ideas of holding up to 250 children for rape and torture, then murder, were simply “unrealistic”.
But Danao’s writings also clearly stated the ages, gender and race of the children he has already alleged raped or assaulted. And at least two children were identified – by name.
In his writings, titled “Manifesto”, Paul Danao says he no longer has any interest in adult women and describes his darker perversions:
“My psychology and sexuality are transgressing — rapidly, I have become immoral and insane … I desire only children now, even babies …”
“My victims get younger and younger, in the dark, their small bodies I plunder.”
Pretty freakin’ scary stuff – especially since he titles himself “Serial Killer” and “Mad Serial Killer” in some of the pictures on his Myspace album. Actually, Danao’s whole Myspace takes on a darker hue in light of the new charges against him – that he molested a family member he was babysitting between OctoberOctober reviews 2006 and April 11, 2008, and that he molested a second child on April 11 – the day before he was arrested. My gut says that one of the victims is his niece – the one I wrote about in the last article.
The other thing that’s scary is the dates. If he molested two children within a day of being arrested – knowing that his “Manifesto” was sitting in a van in a storage unit – what did he do when nobody was paying attention? Is Paul Danao actually a serial child molester, serial rapist, serial killer?
Paul Danao just keeps getting creepier. I hope investigators are checking out his travels and any kids who may have come up missing along the way.
Danao has been held in the Beaufort County Detention Center since April 12 on four child pornography charges and one charge of possession of a destructive device, material and components. Now, two counts of lewd acts on a child have been added. Danao’s bond is set at $200,000. Total possible sentence? Fifty-five years. I’m not sure that will be long enough.

ANYWHOOO, this guy is a sick sick fucker. I can’t even imagine what he would have been capable of had he not gotten caught in time.
He needs to be put down. Humanely or not, I don;t care. he is obviously a danger to society. If they ever let him out of prison, he will have to be monitored very very closely. Even HE realizes that he is a psychopath.

PUT HIM DOWN!! He will not be rehabilitated. He will not change. He will rape, torture and murder CHILDREN, if ever set free.
He has made clear several disturbing facts – 1) he has done it before. 2) not only does he desire to do it again, but his victims are younger each time. 3) he openly states he desires infants. 4) making plans to kidnap, rape, torture and murder a large group of children.
#4 makes it clear to me that he should be viewed as a “weapon of mass destruction”, as he made clear his intentions to GROUP kidnap, rape, torture, and murder many children from infants to middleschoolers. If a sawed off shotgun can be considered a weapon of mass destruction (which I find to be bullshit), then this sick, sick bastard should definitely fall in that catagory.
Hell, he even acknowledges the fact he is: immoral AND INSANE!
I don’t even think HE would fault us for killing his sick ass. Any person with any authority over this sack of shit and his future, that would ever let him back into society, should be held as an accomplice to any crimes he would commit upon his release. And, you can bet your sweet ass, HE WILL REOFFEND!!

It’s great when sickos document their illness for us. Not only does it make the conviction even easier, but we get that peak at humanity’s dark underbelly. We get all wrapped around the axle when a 19 year old chick beats on an 81 year old woman, wondering “what kind of person could do something like that?”
…but it gets sooooo much worse than that. We’re not talking about all the people who simply snapped and killed a kid or an ex. We’re not even talking about molestors who simply dipped their toes in the kiddie pool. We’re talking about a guy for which depravity became a lifestyle. Even in the short sentences posted, there is a clear element of sadism.
How irreparably twisted humans can become. I hope these writings were nothing more than aspirations.

I would love to hear from his family. I hope that his sister has had a looooong conversation/interrogation with her daughter about Uncle Paul’s famous “couch slams” and “piggyback rides.”

And seriously – what a sick fuck he is. To acknowledge his own insanity and immorality, and then to proceed rather than to seek help. Fucked up.
A friend of mine was best friends with a guy in high school who ended up in prison for molesting a little boy. In the last series of letters he sent to her, he said that he was glad to be in prison because he knew it was the only way to keep him away from children. He knows he’s sick, and he can’t seem to help it, so he’s glad for imprisonment.
That story resonates with me. When I’m thankful for all the things I’ve received in this life, I count my sanity very high on the list.

I live in Bluffton, SC and I am really pissed off that the local papers say nothing about his journals. They did say if he posted bail that he would need to stay away from children. WTF???????!!!!!!

Yeah, this guy is fully cognizant of his mental and moral decline. To echo previous sentiments here: there is no rehabilitation for this kind of mind. I think of his decent into psychosis and depravity as a stain slowly spreading across his mind, like an ink bottle that has been tipped and spreads its contents across a sheet leaving a permanent mark.
This guy makes my neck hairs stand straight up.

OK, let me see if I’ve got this straight……This sick SOB has, by his own admission, already molested/raped one or more children. He has detailed journal entries dedicated to describing his desire to continue these perversions, using children as young as infants, and as old as middle school students (which is, what? 12?). He also has outlined specific plans whereby he might accomplish these goals; and further, has stated a desire to acquire large groups of children and hold them hostage while torturing and killing them?!? AND HE WAS GIVEN A BOND?!?!?! Who in the name of FUCK thought THAT would be a good idea? Or even an option? Is the judge who set his bond stoned, or just stupid?
If the judge on this case thinks that allowing this fuckwad any chance of freedom at all is OK, then he should be willing to take this evil monster to live in his house until the trial date. Do we have such a shortage of qualified candidates for judgeship that we have resorted to electing Alzheimers patients?
For the love of fuck, man – my 4 year old could hand down a better decision than that. Something along the lines of, “Ewwwww, this is a bad man! Keep him in jail, so he won’t hurt people.” Or my two-year old’s version ; “He mean-bad man. Go way! Leamme lone!” Maybe I should offer to let my children tutor this ignorant judge, since he is obviously in need of some guidance in this area.
I will echo the sentiments several others have offered so far – kill the fucking bastard! At this point I don’t even have my standard preference for torture before the killing. I just want the fucker dead! I’ll be happy to kill him myself, and provide the gun and ammunition as well. One well placed bullet should do the trick.
