The baby killers pre-trial is March 3,2009

often cared for Andrew while his mother, Kari Sheppard, was working.     Sheppard  left Andrew with Spagnolo overnight on Tuesday and all day Wednesday.  By Wednesday night, her son was gravely injured.  By Friday night, he was dead.

Am I the only one wondering where mother works? Hong Kong?

It actually says on the site “You can also show your support by posting positive comments about Gianni here on this website.“. Guess I won’t be posting. But the posters there have glowing terms for him which surely proves he didn’t drop the baby really hard and not call for assistance.

It also says that you have to contact them for permission to post. Guess that’s to keep the hateful comments off the site.

I also found this interesting archived article from a small “hometown” paper that almost looks like it came from the police department. Gives even MORE details than I’ve read before such as: 1. he called a detective to arrange to turn himself in; and this 2. “Spagnolo demonstrated to the detective how the incident had happened. He explained that he is the boyfriend of the boy’s mother, and that he had not been truthful with her or law enforcement personnel investigating the incident, however, the report did not state what Spagnolo had told them. While in the interview room, Spagnolo called the boy’s mother and explained to her that he’d injured the child. Spagnolo told the officer that he could not have held this in any longer and that he owed it to the child to tell the truth about what had happened.”

Umm, when I was a baby my dad played the game where he threw me up and caught me, but never did he throw me as high as the CEILING just to let me come crashing down to a concrete floor. He threw me about, hmm I don’t know, an inch. I don’t know, I guess I’m lucky like that.

Actually, when I load the page, the banner across the top is dedicated in loving memory to the baby, Andrew. NOT that that makes even the existence of the site ok, since it’s all about defending fuckwad, but it does at least mention and remember the poor baby, too.

If you go to the “about” section, it has nothing about the baby killer – but does have a poem he wrote. Anyone who wrote such an moving piece *roll eyes* surely isn’t the type to drop a baby really hard and not call for assistance.

I think a dead baby in his care is good enough proof for me.
