I know, the sketch is…disturbing…but police are hoping it will help find one of the two men who flagged down a tow truck driver, and then set him on fire.
BALTIMORE - Police state that the tow truck driver was traveling down Interstate 695 near Route 40 when he was flagged down by two black males. The two men asked how much it would cost to have their car towed before then asking how much money the tow truck driver had. At some point, one of the men through a liquid on the tow truck driver while the other flicked a cigarette at him.
The tow truck driver’s shirt caught on fire along with his arms, hands, and face. The two men fled the scene in a red Ford Escort. Police stated that the two men will be charged with attempted first-degree murder. At the time that I sat and typed this up, there was no reports on the tow truck driver’s condition aside from the fact that he was taken to a hospital. Anyone with information is asked to call Maryland State Police at 410-780-2700

I’ve seen dolls that looked like this picture. They were prizes in shooting galleries at the circus. Check the coin toss for goldfish games!
Why would anyone do such a cruel thing? I guess they figured that being severely burned would hamper the truck driver’s following them.

The Baltimore Sun paper .
states that the Tow truck driver who remains unnamed is at a unnamed hospital and was interviewed from his bed they do not mention him being in any condition they way the article reads though it sounds like he was blessed and will be alright err well ok as alright as one can be after that happens.

Apr 23, 2008 at 10:44 pm -I think that when these two are caught, the tow truck driver should be given the opportunity to complete the transaction requested by these two asswipes. He should be allowed to tow these guys to jail. Sans car. Just hook their asses onto the back of the tow truck, and ‘lift’ them to the level where they can either try to keep up by running, or be dragged behind the tow truck. It won’t actually kill them (I don’t think), but they may both wind up needing prosthetic feet after the trip. Just depends on how fast the tow truck driver goes, and how fast the little bastards can run.

Seems he went home after the incident and then called the ambulance due to the pain.
