J.J. Williams does the perp walk

Dravosburg, PA - Joseph Jerome Williams, 35, has a temper control problem.  On Thursday morning, police say, he beat his two-year-old child in front of witnesses, then grabbed the child and ran with him to a back bedroom, where he tried to smother the child with a pillow.   Williams told police he was stressed out, but then told the press  ” I love my son.  I wouldn’t hurt my son.”   Except for the beating part and that pillow you held over his face, you bastard.

Williams, his wife, a cousin and the baby were in the family’s home at about 2:30 a.m. and his son started crying.  According to the criminal complaint, the cousin told police that Williams picked up his son to calm him down, at which point the baby vomited all over his dad.  Williams did not take well to being vomited on and began slapping the toddler repeatedly on the stomach with an open hand, and then flipped him over and started beating the boy’s back.

The witness said he and the  baby’s mother were trying to get Williams to stop beating the child and calm down, but he wasn’t having any, so the cousin and the baby’s mama followed Williams, who was carrying the child, and his son into the bedroom.  Williams got the door shut and locked on them, and the cousin had to force the door to get inside.   The cousin said he saw the toddler boy on the bed, and Williams holding a pillow over the child’s face.  The mother ran for the phone and called 911.

Joseph Jerome Williams is charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child. He remains in custody on $10,000 bond.

Hmm, first time my son puked on me I laughed.

I don’t get it. I don’t think there are enough parenting classes in the world to fix this sort of crap. Because, obviously they don’t look at their children the way the should be. This reminds me more of the ’she’s my wife and if the bitch don’t make me a sandwich I’m kicking her ass’ mentality.

Let me tell you….if this happened in my house the cops would have found this guy with his head smashed in from the baseball bat I would have thumped him with to get him off my child!

Oh “I would never hurt my 2 year old son”……I guess this fucktard thinks beating and smothering are fun games you play with your child?

If I had beat my kids every time they puked on me, I would now have arms like Popeye! My husband hasn’t been puked on as much as I have , cause he’s a man and hands the kids to me when they’re sick, but the funniest puking incident EVER in my house involved him. It went like this…..
I nursed our baby girl, and Daddy wanted to hold her, so I handed her over. She was about 8 mos. old, and just loved the ‘airplane game’. Daddy lay on the floor, and lifted her directly over himself, saying “look, my baby girl’s flying!” I reminded him that she had just eaten, and he said “That’s OK, she looooves her Daddy, and wants to play.” Just as he started to laugh at her….you guessed it - she puked! Right into his mouth! I laughed my ASS off! he handed his sweet angel to me, and went into the bathroom to brush his teeth and rinse his mouth out (probably with turpentine, as he is a little OCD about even DRINKING after other people). I was STILL laughing when he came back 15 minutes later. He never got even slightly upset with the baby, though he did shoot me a couple “eat shit and die” looks for laughing at him….I’m giggling about it now, too. Good thing he’s not in here reading this. LOL

I think this bastard needs to be charged with attempted murder, as well. Putting a pillow over a child’s face? I’m with you Mo4, I would have gone ahead and killed the bastard. Called it justifiable homicide - self defense/defense of others. What a sorry prick. I hope the mom divorces this idiot, and the judge locks his ass up for a long time, and then refuses him visitation after his release.

I completely agree that he should be charged with attempted murder. It sounds that while the family members in the house at the time attempted to help the child, one has to wonder what they were all doing at that time. Perhaps a sick and crying sweet baby was too much for them to handle while drinking or whatever. The mother better divorce this bastard, if she doesn’t then she should be locked up as well… in fact it should be a condition of her getting that child in her custody.

Good lord. The woman who cut my hair told me that one night her two-year-old woke her up by climbing onto her chest and saying “Mommy! Mommy!” and when she said, “What-?” the poor kid puked in her face.

We grimaced and laughed about it. We didn’t agree that she should have tried to kill the kid.

This guy sounds mentally ill and dangerous. He needs to be put away forever. If this is how he treats a pucking baby — and he could have just put the kid down and taken a shower — how does he deal with relatives, co-workers, and so forth? NONE of us needs to run the chance of having him cross our paths. And, yes, if this wasn’t attempted murder, then we need a new definition.

Poor male ego - affronted by a disrespectful child who dared to throw up on King Joseph. If it wasn’t for the intervention of the cousin the kid could be dead, all because dad couldn’t regulate his anger (and still seems to be in denial). Put him in the pen and let him lose his temper with a few seasoned inmates - he’ll settle down soon enough.

Aggravated assault and reckless endangerment! Are you fucking serious! Thats not enough! That poor baby! I hope he is finally getting the love and care that he deserves. As for the father, I hope he gets his ass beat repeatedly, daily, by big huge inmates with tempers worse than his! Asshole!
