Sherry Ambolino was sentenced today to 6-12 months in county prison for driving a minivan filled with four children she was baby-sitting while intoxicated.

That’s all, shit you get more than that for carrying pot on you..I agree with you all, there is NO REASON to drive while drunk, especially exposing chldren to being maimed or killed. I can still party harty myself, but I NEVER DRIVE… I guess I think too much of myself..Obviously she doesn’t, probably because she’s never been sober long enough. They should have hanged from her tits, … or jowls…

Seriously, I plan to work in addictions one day and I have the utmost respect for those who have a problem and want help. BUT, taking the kids when you are shit-faced and driving to a SCHOOL to pick up another??? Sounds like sheer stupidity to me and an obvious lack of concern for even her own damn kids. I doubt that her choices would get much better with sobriety.

She will live “to fight another day” – that is correct. And, if I were her, I would visit each of those girls, one by one. Then, you would read, at one time or another, how “one by one” they all took their little trip for stitches and such.

I have to agree with both of you. Not fighting back probably saved her a far worse beating. But, if it had been me, I couldn’t just “lay down”, either. I would have fought until I couldn’t get back up or until I couldn’t swing my fists anymore, which ever came first.
