Who Murdered Roxanne Diaz?
San Antonio, TX - A man walking his dog found her body at about 8:30 Sunday morning. Police couldn’t identify her then, saying only that a body had been found on San Antonio’s northwest side. They said she was a woman, between 20 and 35 years old, dead of multiple stab wounds and maybe worse. Just two days later, the woman has a name: Roxanne Diaz. Her murderer is still at large.
Roxanne Diaz’s Myspace is nearly empty. All it has is the Amy Winehouse song “Rehab”, that she’s 24, a Libra, a “housewife” but single. She was feeling wacky in January, when she last logged in. She thought she had “some extra baggage”. Tom is the only friend listed on her page.
Roxanne was found naked from the waist down, stabbed multiple times, probably sexually assaulted, and mutilated in ways the police aren’t releasing. They don’t know whether her killer knew her, or took advantage of an opportunity to grab his prey. Robbery doesn’t seem to fit the motive, since Roxanne’s body had jewelry still on it when she was found. And she was murdered somewhere else, then dragged from a nearby creek to the ground near an apartment complex in the 3400 block of Magic Drive where she was found.

Roxanne Wild, Energetic, CRAZY!!!, LOUD, dont take crap from anyone, my friend. Roxanne you will be missed dearly I have known you for oh my god.,since you were in elementry when you lived on the SE side. You were bestfriends with my sister Angelica, man would you two drive me NUTS!!! You were always staying with us so you grew as part of the family. Its been years since we have talked,since we grew older and had our own families. I pray that your killer gets caught if not by the police first but your family because this/these Assholes dont know what they just got themselfs into. They did not have to kill you nor does anyone have to be killed from these unhuman acts. These people or person will get cought and will suffer one way or the other. I love you and will keep in touch with your family to see if they ever need help with your babies I will do what I can to help I know they are your life and you would want so much for them to know you. Jennifer, thanks for stopping in and telling us a little about Roxanne. She sounds like she would’ve been great to hang out with and have a good time with. I know she will be missed.
So, she was a mom, huh? Even more reason for me to hate the guy who did this!!!! I hope they find him soon, so I can have a name to hang my vitriolic rantings on.
Jennifer, I am so sorry for your loss. You must be devastated. Please, DO make sure her children know who she was, and what a great friend she was to you and your family. Make it your gift to her. Her children are so lucky to have someone like you who will keep her memory alive for them. May God bless you and the children and all who are hurting from this horrible, senseless murder.

Thank you for posting. Is there anything you can tell us about Roxanne that might help focus on a suspect? How old are her kids? Was their father in Roxanne’s life? Did she have any enemies at all?

Nobody kills so violently and mutilates a victim sexually (most likely) without lots of petty crimes, paraphilias and deviance slowly masking what was once human in them. They are known by someone, probably fearful of him - and rightly so. ‘There’s a killer on the road, his brains squirming like a toad…’ be careful, midwest.
Jennifer, I am truly sorry for the loss of your friend. I am so sadden for her children. What a tragedy for all her family and friends.
I pray her killer is caught not only so justice can be done, but in the hopes, that no one else will fall victim to this POS.

Its weird you know to have someone close die of a horrible crime then from natural death. Man its just too weird. Antoher thing is she was the type NOT to let anyone mess with her this only proves that it can happen to ANYONE. God Bless you all for your support.

It was a joke we all had about her ID looking like a mug shot or a Marine look she said its her mug shot. She was always so serious on her pics but ya I do have pics of her and her baby I will scan this week and send. As for being friends we can all joke around like that.
Pretty girl. Must be awfully scary for women in the area of the crime. That’s tragic that her babies are without a mother, now. It sounds like they’ve got solid family and friends, though.

As for a trust its been all to fast and the funeral is today. I was unable to go due to my husband is military and he is visiting Texas I am stuck here in Virginia. I am not too happy about that because I cant leave my 3 children alone and they all have school. But my sister her Best friend stated that that the mass was, well she couldn’t explain besides that she was crying most of the time. She stated that Roxanne had a scarf on her neck and that she was told that who ever this SB is sliced her neck at least that is what she was told and gloves only showing her fingers were placed but that her fingers were all cut up and big ones to also her beautiful face was all brused and marks were on there. She stated they did there best to cover her face up with makeup but it was hard. She has a 7yr old son and a beautiful 3 yr old daughter. Her son read a poem to her and her daughter with her long red hair kept looking at her and saying thats my mommies right there and would point to her. Roxanne even though a PAIN inn the ASS as we all know her died too young she her babies needed her. Roxanne didn’t graduate from high school or go to collage she took great care of her babies who were her world. I don’t know or think she may of had life insurance but I will find out. She had the prettiest hazel eyes and you would always find yourself staring. She always had a way to make you laugh. I will post more and get a pic of her and her son soon. Thanks for all who care. Question if you were to get updated info on if they find the killer or if there is a suspect will you post? With being here in virginia I dont get to see the news and my sister gets most of the info. Let me know thanks. My sister was told that she was dragged from the car if that is true there has to be more then one person responsible. They better hope the police catch them before her family does.

I think it’s pretty safe to say that if a suspect is found, and an arrest is made, that the update will be posted here about 30 seconds before the official statement actually hits the news. We have a poster here named Lizard who has a time machine she uses to “see” 30 seconds into the future.That’s how the little brat is able to ’scoop’ everyone else here, and get the best stories into the forums, first. LOL.
In reality, though, yeah, we love to post info about murdering asshats here. Have you taken the time to look around, yet? I think you will be pretty interested in seeing the kind of ‘reporting’ that gets done here. No PC stuff on here, we just let the whole world know what kind of garbage these people really are.
As soon as Imp or Morbid know anything new, I’m sure it will be posted as an update to this story. That means you won’t even have to look for a new thread - they will just add any new info to this one. I hope they catch this guy soon, as my itchy cussin’ finger is bored.

If only there was something to do for the children. I know their loss will grow as they get older and begin to wonder what life would have been like with their mother alive. I hope the bastard who killed her is found and tortured before the police are called.
