I am doing something a little different here, because as of right now, no crime seems to have been committed.
CORAL GABLES, Fla. - Kelly Ann Jones, 19, was a University of Miami freshman. She died SundaySunday reviews
morning after falling from a campus balcony. She was alive after she fell, talking incoherently and only able to move her arms. She was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. The reason why I am posting this? Some witness statements on what they heard before the first 911 call was made.
Several students stated that they heard commotion seconds before the fall was reported to police at about 10 a.m. Emanuel Fidalgo, a senior who lives in Mahoney Hall, said he heard people chanting the same thing and a girl crying and screaming. Police believe the death was accidental, but investigators are awaiting autopsy results for a final determination as they have not ruled out foul play.
There is very little I could find about this accident, but I wanted to get this posted to see if any more details may come to light. It very well could be an accident, as we here about kids falling off balconies all the time (seriously), but the statements made by the other students has gotten my interest.

Yeah sure, you just put her on the front page because she’s a hot white chick who likes peacock feathers!

THANK YOU! For some reason, my brain is not functioning correctly and I couldn’t figure out what the hell that was.

And you only like ‘peacock feathers’ because it includes the word ‘cock’!

I like it cuz it has the word pea.
Wonder what they were a chanting?

Does that mean you’re a princess?

Dude, this happened 10 minutes from my house. I heard about it on the radio on my way to work, but they didnt mention all this chanting shit. Something is strange here, how does a girl just fall off a balcony like that?

Do some sleuthing and track down Emanuel Fidalgo, see what he says.

Call the university and get the main number for “Mahoney Hall.” Call it and ask, “Is Emanuel Fidalgo around?” That might work.
We’ll have plenty of other suggestions, Solange, if this doesn’t work — you know us!

Naw, just go to the U. of Miami site and Ph him…his e-mail address is there.

Where is Satan, surely he would know something about the chanting?
4:55 pm on April 7th, 2008
Shhhh, we don’t call him that…just stick with “WWSD.” We’d burn up a ton more bandwidth of people knew a certain being was a regular poster….

Wow, that bites. I’ve got a headache after reading that shit. Fuck, I’m so scared of heights, a balcony…..if it was high enough where I’d die if I fell….I wouldn’t be standing on it.
Was alcohol involved in this incident? Yeah I know it was morning, but shit fire, I remember 19…..vaguely.

C’mon, Satan – That’s your demonic eyeball, not a peacock feather. The chant was obviously a calling for sacrifice, or for more suds.

Any more news on this one? Musical score for the chants, maybe?

Okay. So I’m bored here at work and started looking at some of your old postings to see if I could find an update. I actually found one. The link to web-site is http://www.themiamihurricane.com/2008/07/11/um-student-kelly-ann-jones-autopsy-released/
Hopefully, you guys won’t think I’m a spammer. But anyways, seems she was high and fell but the case is still technically open??? Nothing else really found about her.
