Angel Dailey, 16, admitted in Juvenile Court that she held 2-year-old Mariah Blevins on her lap while her boyfriend held a marijuana pipe to the child’s mouth until she inhaled the smoke. Dailey pleaded guilty on May 9 to one felony juvenile count of corrupting another with drugs and a misdemeanor juvenile count of endangering a child.

Licking County Juvenile Court Judge Robert Hoover sentenced Dailey to the state’s custody for a minimum of six months and no longer than her 21st birthday. Her exact release date will depend on her behavior, court administrator David Edelblute said.

Dailey was fined $250 for each of the two convictions and had her driver’s license suspended until she turns 18.

As for Belvins, he was charged in connection with the incident. He was also charged on other drug charges in federal count which are in relation to a larger drug ring. Also being charged for the same drug ring, include Dailey’s father Tim, and her uncle Tom. All have pleaded not guilty.”
