Sarah Timblin Killed Three Men

Turns out that Timblin had a blood-alcohol level was more than three times the legal limit when her drunk ass got on the highway wrong and then killed three people. She has been arrested and now faces charges including three counts of homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence.

, PA- Around 2:45 a.m. Sarah Timblin, 23, of Washington Borough, Lancaster County, was driving the wrong way down Route 30 between the Harrisburg Pike and Rohrerstown Road when she crashed head-on into a silver Honda, killing Inocente Sanchez, 40, Luis Sanchez, 45, and Marlin Banks, 47 who were on their way to work. Sarah was treated at Lancaster General Hospital for minor injuries. She was released Tuesday morning. Police are trying to determine where Timblin was before the crash and whether she had been drinking. She had a prior DUI charge in 2006.
The three men worked for First Quality Service Inc., which is a janitorial service. Those three guys weren’t even scheduled to work that morning as they had volunteered to work the shift at a Lancaster-area business. I am posting this now, even though it has not been shown that Sarah was drinking. Because either way, drunk or not, driving the wrong way down a highway is one of the dumbest things I hear of people doing.
You probably wont hear much about this particular case, as we have two Hispanics and a black guy killed by a white college graduate driving the wrong way, instead of three female, college graduates killed by a Hispanic or a black guy driving the wrong way.
Sarah was charged in February 2006 with driving under the influence and careless driving in East Hempfield Township. She pleaded guilty to the careless driving charge and was accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for first-time offenders. About a year ago, she also reportedly was fired from a job due to drinking.
Timblin’s MySpace page says she lost her job as a cook at the Belvedere Restaurant, where she worked for a few years. Belvedere manager Shirley Fultineer said Timblin “is a lovely but troubled girl” who was fired after showing up for work intoxicated one day about a year ago”.

My money’s on her being completely anesthetized (from the alcohol). That’s why so many drunk drivers survive horrific accidents that kill all other people involved. When a person is drunk, they are relaxed, and their body “flows” with the accident, resulting in a decreased chance of injury. These people sicken me. I liken drunk driving to playing Russian roulette, only with a car instead of a gun. You know the probability is pretty high that someone’s gonna die if you drive in that condition, but it still doesn’t stop you from pulling that metaphorical trigger. Suck-ass, selfish, stupid shitheads.
I am so sorry for the families of these men. Were the two Sanchez men related? If so, that is going to make it doubly hard on that family – to lose two loved ones due to the stupidity of one selfish bitch.

When I read the story, I think about how these men were carpooling to a CRAPPY low-paying job (that no one else wants to do) just to make ends meet, instead of reading about them killing or robbing someone…
The laws should be tougher on those who drive drunk..PERIOD! There are other countries that don’t tolerate DUI/DWI and the results are much lower fatalities and accidents.
It’s sickening that she was “treated and released for minor injuries”. I wonder if she feels bad that she killed THREE people, due to her (speculated) choice to drive intoxicated…and how the deaths of these three men will impact others.

Look at what kind of person she is. Probably the only people she can get to hang around with her are as worthless as she is. So, of course they see her as the victim.
They are probably thinking, “Gee, I’m glad I didn’t get busted last week. Maybe if I say something nice to her, the good Karma will come back to me and keep me from getting a DUI next week, too.”
Hell, for all we know, they could have already had a couple themselves, before posting their comments on there. Commiseration of kindred spirits.

I don’t know why they don’t make the road signs with larger print and widen the lanes out a bit. If they are going to allow so many bars, taverns, restaurants, sporting events, etc to serve liquor then shouldn’t society also take the extra step of drunk-proofing our roads? It seems inadequate that some drunk driver can just slip through all of the traffic enforcement tools employed there in PA and still wind up going the wrong way and hurting others. The state has failed to look after the interests of their drunken citizens and now one has made a “mistake” that couldn’t be avoided.

Timblin was charged with three counts of homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence; three counts of homicide by vehicle; two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance; one count of reckless driving; and one count of driving the wrong way on a one-way road.
She was taken to Lancaster County Prison when she was unable to post the $100,000 cash bail set by District Judge David P. Miller.
Oh, she is also a 2003 graduate of Lancaster Christian School. Remember what I said about those chicks who go to religious based schools? They like to PARTAY!

The only thing that gives me comfort is that she looks too soft for prison. Any time in a cell will be hell for her. I’m glad.

actually i live where this happened, and they are definitely all over this story, they talked about it for almost 10 min on the news last night and again this morning. and there’s been stories in the paper about it ever since it happened.

So, the bitch was fairly close to comatose when she killed three people. How convenient that she was able to kill three people, and not have to remember it later. That’ll make it easier to do the next time – you know, in two or three years, after that slap on the wrist that drunk drivers usually get has been completed.

This is the problem with drunken driving deaths. Caes like Micheal Gagnon’s where children get killed or pretty young women will almost always result in more outrage and harsher sentences than drunks who kill elderly people or men in general. Look at Florida. A 19 year old who killed two young women got 30 years, a woman who killed an elderly couple got only nine

I doubt she feels bad about it at all–I’m sure she only feels bad for her own troubles out of this. A careless driver killed my sister-in-law two years ago. Our family suffered for a month, praying and hoping against hope, and finally having to make the decision to disconnect her from life support. Not once has the bastard said so much as an “I’m sorry.” I’m sure his lawyer told him not to say anything that might admit guilt, but he should have said something anyway.
Drunky McCook will get a comparative slap on the wrist, rehab, and then a cover story in People where she cries about how rehab saved her soul. Then she’ll drive drunk again, of course. American loves a reformed drunk much more than someone who was responsible in the first place.

I live locally in Lancaster, know Sarah and feel completely horrible about the events that unfolded the other night. This is an inexcusable thing and I am not here to make excuses, throw reasons or even cast aside blame.
My only point here is to simply point out UNAMUSED CAT’s reference of the comment “Saved by the buoyancy of Citrus.”

i know this may not be the place to air any personal details about a friend in the particular situation, but I am gonna ask anyway. One of her bosses (who now will not talk to reporters) told the press she fired her previously for being drunk on the job and mentioned she was a “troubled girl”. Her previous DUI found her to be TWICE the legal limit and now she has killed three people at THREE times the legal limit.
My question is, surely her closest friends saw something going on with her, right? Have any of her friends or family ever tried to bring it up to her? I am just curious if Sarah had a known drinking probem.

A friend (or someone) must have changed her myspace page because it shows that it was updated today…not possible by her because the cops hauled her ass off to jail last night. She was unable to post bail ($100k – not enough, still)…so she’s still there.
Being from Lancaster, when this story broke, you knew she was either drunk or high on something…where she messed up and got on the highway the wrong way – and since she was from the area…you don’t easily make that mistake. She is charged (among other things) with 3 counts of homicide by vehicle which carries a mandatory sentence, in PA, of 3 years…this means that without any other charges and without consideration of this being her second offense, she gets 9 years off the bat.
The two Sanchez guys were brothers…the other gentleman had 7 kids, I believe. God bless their families.

While i can’t say a whole lot about the drunk driving because i am guilty of it(DUI in 2006) but her friends should have stopped her or taken her keys. i got my DUI when i passed out on the couch and woke up in the police station. i was passed out so my friends took my shoes off, put a pillow under my head, and threw a blanket over me. Don’t know where i was going or why, she probably didn’t know either.
