SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Mofle, 41, was a coach for the seventh-grade boys basketball team at Webster City Middle School. He was busted videotaping boys showering in a locker room with a hidden camera. hee had been sitting in the jail waiting appear in court on Thursday, after being indicted on six counts of producing child pornography and two counts of possessing it. Well, the taxpayer’s, and possibly future children have been saved a lot of trouble. He hung himself in the Union County Jail.
He created the videos by placing a camera in a gym bag to capture video of young boys showering in the nude. Mofle was arrested Jan. 16 after one of his stepsons found a mini DV cassette that had the locker room video. The boy replaced the cassette with a blank one and took the cassette to police. It is also alleged that Mofle had produced images of both oral and anal sex on April 21 and July 16, 2003, involving an unidentified minor. Had Mofle been convicted of his crimes, he faced a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison and $250,000 fine. Mofle had been a coach at the Webster City Middle School since 2003. He had no previous record and there had been no previous complaints against him.

I hope all of the boys involved get the counseling they are so desperately going to need. Tally one up for the good guys (justice)!

We really do need an advertising fund set up specifically for flowers to these intelligent pedophile funerals. Perhaps a nice green plant with a banner: “Glad you got some real balls. Enjoy Hell. This perv has 8 kids and his wife is a respected doctor in town! Everyone new he was going kill himself, They must have been looking the other way when it happened! Anyway saves everyone alot of time, money and further embarassment!

I hope either they’re already grown, or that mama bear picks up and moves that brood where they can get a fresh start and not be known — just be able to say “my dad died” and leave it at that. She’s a Dr., so her skills are easily transferrable to a new hometown.
It’s a real wake up call about the price of pedophilia and child molestation, ain’t it? It’s not just the kids he obviously victimized: it’s his own damned children who will pay the price for this for the rest of their lives, even if he never laid a hand on them.

They let out early because Mofle had 4 children between preschool and 4th grade at the Catholic School/Church! I hope alot of people went to support the family! I didn’t go but I didn’t really know them… still sad for them!
