I am with you morbid. There have been times I wanted to wring my daughters neck. In fact once I literally locked her in a bedroom so I couldn’t get to her I was so mad..But I never ever hit her in anger. I waited.
It really amazes me that parents think it is alright to punish a child this way.

“You’re going to learn to respect me. You don’t treat me bad. You don’t mistreat me; I’m your mother.”

Don’t really know how I could respect someone like that myself.

Yeah that sorry bitch that done it and the one who watched - I like to hose both of them. You know with lead poured down a garden hose and just beat the shit out of both of them until I could no longer swing the hose.

    Poor, poor little girl :(

I hope they catch her soon, the good Lord only knows what else has happened since this attack. I hope she’s not hurt badly somewhere or even dead. Poor, poor baby. DAMN, DAMN AND DOUBLE DAMN!!!!

I agree with you Pooh. If the crazy POS would do this in public, Lord only knows what happens (happened) behind closed doors.

And as I said in the forums, the waste of space mouthbreathing cunt who watched and then walked away needs to be charged too bcs IMO she is just as culpable. You could be my closest friend but if I see you doing this to your kid, BFF is out the window and I’m beating your ass.

Outrageous! Words fail me… just OMG what the hell could this little girl have done that was so bad to deserve that? NOTHING.

They carry a towel in the car with them.. I wonder if this is something that happens on a regular basis. SICK FUCKS!

“You don’t mistreat ME?” WTF? I fail to see how standing in front of a 1200 psi pray gun is mistreating Mama even if you are a toddler and should know better.

That bitch mother needs to do the perp walk. I hope she cries in court. I hope we get pics. I want to shame her publicly and often.

I have been crazy frustrated at my kids, and sometimes I know I have been less than sweet and gentle to them. But this is beyond frustrated. She had to plan this, put the child in the car, drive to the car wash, bring the towel…that is what is so sick and twisted about this. What in the world could a toddler have done to warrant this punishment. I swear every day, I hear worse and worse things being done to little children. It makes you wonder where we are going as a society.

It never even occurred to me she had the towel in the car. For some dumbass reason I just assumed they had them at the car wash.

If she had to think about it, pack a towel, and then take the kid to the car wash specifically to abuse her, death is too kind.

Yes for her, but perhaps, not the child, to ensure this never ever happens again. And it would be a lesson to the child, also - why NOT to continue the cycle of abuse.

Just re-watched that video again, the officer says maybe she had an accident in the back seat. I think not - hence the report your gonna respect me, you don’t mistreat me”. She had said or did something, probably just playing, and that bitch got her towel and took that poor baby to the car wash for punishment.

5 minutes alone with both those bitches please. How could that other woman watch and allow this to happen? I bet if she has children, their treatment is horrific, too. Where’s my lead filled garden hose? DAMN, those sorry bitches.

It never even occurred to me she had the towel in the car. For some dumbass reason I just assumed they had them at the car wash.

Ok, they are shitheads, and no mistake, but I’d like to point out that there easily could have been a towel in the car for a variety of reasons.

One of my little ones was prone to carsickness for a couple of years, and we used to keep the “puke kit” in the car at all times. A giant zip lock bag with a towel, a roll of paper towels, a bottle of water, and a change of clothes. Seriously. I can totally envision a towel in the car of a family with a kid prone to carsickness or accidents.

Second, this is FLORIDA, so many people would have towels in their car on a pretty regular basis for beach and swim reasons, no?

Just saying. I mean, obviously we don’t need to incriminate these folks over why they brought towels — the truth of what they did is bad enough without any further speculatin’….

Why don’t the stupid cops, do a dmv search for all white…… , whatever car it was. They also have video - I’m sure any dealership, could help narrow the year model. They already know white, female so that could further narrow their search. And most people don’t drive for miles and miles to a car wash. The bitches are probably local to that community. I think they could do a lot of narrowing and then start the actual leg work.

Instead of waiting on someone to recognize and actually name those bitches, how about a little detective work, coppers? You are getting paid to do it - so please DO IT!

I have been crazy frustrated at my kids, and sometimes I know I have been less than sweet and gentle to them.

Me too. I have no idea how you manage to keep your sanity with twins, one at a time was more than enough for me! I have been so mad at them before that I had to go outside. For hours…
Once when my three year old sprayed an entire bottle (40 oz.) of Super Strength Cleaner on my open laptop, when my 14 year old had been asked to watch her for ten minutes while I was in the shower, I remained outside in the back yard for six hours. My husband had already been home and in the house for four hours before I could even look at either of the two children involved without wanting to do something heinous. I never did punish either of them - I left that to Daddy. I’m still not sure I wouldn’t have been guilty of child abuse myself, had I attempted to mete out the punishment. I have also been known to yell at my kids - loudly, and for a long time. I do not call them names, nor do I belittle them in any manner. I yell because I would rather yell than physically punish them. I am capable of, and have before, dished out corporal punishment, when deserved. But not when angry. That is inexcusable.

5 minutes alone with both those bitches please. How could that other woman watch and allow this to happen? I bet if she has children, their treatment is horrific, too. Where’s my lead filled garden hose? DAMN, those sorry bitches.

Not alone, Pooh, I want to help! Pleeease!!!

Oh, and another thing: I don’t know if it’s true or not but I was once told by a mechanical engineer that those sprayers, at the pressure they are set for, can cause an embolism - a water embolus is the term I think he used. An embolism, if it reaches the heart or brain, can be fatal, and often is. Just thought I’d let ya know.

Well, the mom contacted the authorities herself, said the water was not on full power, offered full police and medical access to the child, she was evaluated and found to have no injuries from this episode or any indication of prior physical abuse.

There are many different kinds of abuse. For me, this qualifies as emotional/psychological abuse, if nothing else. I’d say this is an out of control angry mom. But I also kind of understand why DHS chose to let the child remain.

But removal of the child is not supposed to be the only option open to child protective services. This sounds like a mom who could use a bit of counselling/parenting advice. It might just make an impression….(?)

I’m with Ruby on the origin of the towel being unknown but I don’t draw this conclusion. The bitch spent some time loading quarters into the wash and could have certainly realized it was asinine prior to the “cleaning”, err I mean the “earning the respect”, of her child.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office Child Abuse detectives are still investigating the criminal portion of this case to determine the proper course of action.

Sgt. John Allen said Thursday night that the investigation would continue Friday.

Investigators said the mother could face child abuse charges.

**Only I can hope this wakes up these women and makes them better parent(s)

never would I thought spraying one of my children (have heard of using them on kittnes tho) with a water bottle as punishment or a way of calming … we have done this in fun but quickly fun can get out of hand and make someone turn revengeful.
This woman needs Help !!! She has a poor since of judgement.

Poor little girl - wonder what she got after the big investigation. Mom invited them to her home, let them see what she wanted them to see, and now all is right.

DCF needs to be blown into the next century. How could they leave the child there. I would have much rather seen the woman “pop” the child’s butt, with an open hand, a couple of times, if she really was throwing a tantrum, than that kind of shit. And if it wasn’t abuse, why didn’t she only spray the little girls bottom and legs - not her face. Stupid bitch could have blinded her.

And to the medical exam - no signs of prior abuse. Did they x-ray the child for old healed broken bones or just do a visual? I hardly feel a thorough examination was performed, especially later that night and after the woman had time to get her story together.

She told them what she wanted to, they saw what she wanted them to see - late at night, paperwork, too much to bother with - just bring her in I’ll give a quick look and if there aren’t any huge bruises, black eyes, shoe prints on the child, we’ll just call it a day and investigate tomorrow.

Mother of Pearl, I’m truly surprised this wasn’t posted as a missing child this morning only to find her beaten body a couple of weeks from now. Does anyone have to ask WHY we have so many dead children? DAMN DAMN AND DOUBLE DAMN. For the DCF worker who sent her back to that bitch, I would like to hose the hell out of him/her, with the lead hose of course. Great work guys, you POS. Enablers are what they are, ENABLERS, I say.

This pissed me off so much!

Below is another story regarding this case. The mother is 22 & 5 months PREGNANT! Just what she needs another child to abuse! Yes the child is being left in her custody & police aren’t sure she will face charges!!!

police later determined that the toddler’s mother, who is 22 and five months pregnant, pulled into the car wash for the sole purpose of hosing down her daughter — possibly for wetting herself in the backseat of the car.

At the end of the surveillance tape of the incident, which police seized as potential evidence, the woman is seen stripping her daughter’s soaked clothes off and wrapping her up in a towel.

    Tough love or child abuse?
Diaz said she struggled to imagine what infraction the child could have committed to warrant being hosed down like that, and couldn’t come up with any excuse for the mother’s action. She said it was clear that the woman was trying to teach the child some sort of lesson.

“The mother was speaking in Spanish,” Diaz said. “She said, ‘You are not going to disrespect me. You are not going to treat me bad. Don’t worry, I’m not going to hit you now. I’m just going to spray you with cold water.’”

According to Diaz and police, the woman tested the water pressure on the hose before using it on the little girl. The car wash’s hoses have various settings that go up to 1,200 pounds per square inch, but police do not believe the water pressure the woman applied on the child was anywhere close to that.

After the surveillance tape was broadcast by the media, the woman turned herself in to police for questioning and denied abusing the child, who remains in her care, Irwin said.

“There are no physical injuries that our medical staff could find and document,” he said.

Child welfare officials were notified of the incident. Police plan to meet with them later Friday and decide whether to pursue child endangerment charges against the mother.

“We don’t know yet. We are going to roundtable that this morning,” Irwin said.

I wonder if there is anything we can do, who we would write to, so that we are assured the woman realizes this was NOT ok…
I am potty training my son right now and believe me I know how frustrating that can be, especially numerous accidents…
but the way she handled the situation was extremely damaging to the child maybe not physically but can you imagine emotionally. Hell–how do we know for sure she wasn’t damaged physically just because visible signs were not there.

This lady needs to hear it from someone who can explain why this was a bad idea, with another baby coming the stress is sure to be double what next measures will she take????

I wish I could write a letter to her, not saying it would change her mind… but at least I would feel better. I mean if she “tested the hose pressure” first maybe she at least has something working in the noggin… maybe she would at least take people’s advice into consideration.

Florida again? Makes me sad to say I am from NW FL. But looking back at my situation, I can see why no one intervened on my behalf when I was little.
Hell once you get DHS involved they just give the dang kid back. Parents usually take out their “getting caught” anger on the kid once the get them back–Trust me…

Jenjen0135 - sorry that you know these things first hand.

I’m tellin’ya…An Eye for an Eye.

I know the old saying - then the world would go blind - but damn, I can’t say that some crimes don’t warrant exactly that - AN EYE FOR AN EYE.

Maybe someone will save that video for the girl and when she grows up. Then, she can revisit this on her mother. Still though, DCF is slack and sorry.

Was it she wet/messed herself or a tantrum? The woman said “you’re gonna learn to respect me”, the police speculate something to do with potty training, then Ms Bitch herself said it was because of a tantrum.

In my opinion, if you can’t stick to your story (on her part) then you’re a lying asshat. Anytime you get more than one version of the story from the same person, they are most likely lying.

Apparently this woman disciplines her child like thias all the time, even using a spray bottle at home…LIKE A FUCKING CAT!

Even if there is no actual physical abuse here, there is a difference between discipling your child and humiliating them…especially at that age.

I guess we should just be happy she didn’t rub the little girl’s nose in her soiled clothes. or hit her over the head with a newspaper.

    PSYCHMAMA happy to help :)

I want to write to someone too. This is crazy! I am the mother of 3 & one of my children is fully potty trained & I am in the middle of it with the other one so I understand it can be frustrating especially when you are out somewhere with a big accident. But who fucking cares! It is a CHILD! Who gives a crap about her peeing on your seat if this is what happened. I wouldn’t treat an animal nevermind a person let alone my CHILD that way!

Well it seems that Florida is the place to be if you want to abuse your children because they don’t do anything to protect them. And I am not saying anything bad about FL residents. One of my dearest friends lives there. But the system just isn’t working the way it should.

I just read on cfnews.com (it wouldn’t let me copy the link for some reason) that she hosed her down due to a temper tantrum not a potty training accident. She is only 2 years old! My middle child is that age & it makes me sick. I can’t imagine doing that. She also said it was the first time she ever did that! Yeah right you lose it so much in the car that you pull into a car wash & abuse your 2 year old with water! The first time was a bunch of BS! I can only imagine what she does at home!

I thought the bitch admitted this was her choice of punishment and even stated she did it at home with a squirt bottle? Maybe I’m wrong, but there sure are a lot of inconsistencies all the way around, except for the telling video and the car wash attendant’s statement - she has remained consistent with her version of what happened, throughout this whole sorry mess.

    thepooh5

    Mar 7, 2008 at 4:01 pm -

Alright, I watched the video once more, I did see that bitch put her hand in front of the water before she sprayed the child - I guess making sure it would hurt bad enough.

At one point, or in one article, it is implied there are different levels of spray - from what I can see, it was either trickling (as it was before that genius reported sprayed an empty plastic trash barrel) - or its wide open, at full pressure. And, further, in my experience at a car wash - there has never been 600 psi, 900 psi, and 1200 psi for one to choose from. Its either spraying at full blast or not. It usually trickles or has a fine mist spray until you squeeze the handle.

And on a final note, I don’t know about you guys, but my hands are much tougher than the skin on my legs and ass. So, how is an adult spraying her hand, any kind of gauge as to what a small child would feel on her baby soft skin, and its not even the child’s hands? The sorry bitch even sprayed her face - so lucky she didn’t blow an eye out.

How anyone could not determine this to be abuse, is unconceivable to me. That DCF worker needs to start training all over again - no, I take that back - he/she needs to go to an in-field experiment on their own asses, literally and then lets see if they feel it is abuse. Once they have determined this to be abuse they should then be fired and made publicly apologize to that poor child, for leaving her there another instant. I hate DFC or DFCS or whatever those sorry asses, with poor judgement are called.

If I were not at work, I would just scream. Those stupid, stupid people that left her there. DAMN, DAMN AND DOUBLE DAMN again.

I hope that Imp or Morbid will remember that woman’s name and when the child is on here again, we can reference this atrocity and then begin public shaming of DFC.

They still won’t release the mother’s name because she hasn’t been charged with anything. Apparently the mother deserves more protection than this poor little girl.

Thepoohs, in the article the police did say the mother normally used time outs but occasionally did spray here with a water bottle.

    Well, thank you, “Authorities”.

And bless this little one, who has had a hellacious few years on this earth. I hope the future is brighter for this innocent one.

Now, I believe spanking to be a fun activity between consenting adults, and not part of the repetoire for disciplining children (they’re the ones who are smaller, more fragile and immature than you, remember?), and high pressure hoses are for carwashing, gardening and high colonics - not that I haven’t used a low pressure garden hose to wash off a shit-covered toddler when their nappy exploded. Gotta have some fun while you are puking.

But this behaviour is so totally over the line its reprehensible as well as dangerous. The kid could have lost an eye or been forced head first into a wall by the high pressure. In this case, the punishment should fit the crime - forecefully drag, frighten endanger, strip and humiliate these two “adults” and see how much they learn from the experience.

RESPECT MY AUTHORITEE!! (nods to Cartman)

I guess I should go and hide my whips and chains now so the kids don’t try to steal them, huh?
