The minor’s mother found this smokin’ hot example of manhood snoring in her daughter’s bed. The mom was great. She grabbed her younger daughter, left the house, and called cops while her husband guarded the bedroom door to keep Gahagan there until police arrived. Turns out that Gahagan and the girl met over the internet and had been “online dating” for about eight months.
Gahagan told the cops that he believed his girlfriend was 20 years old, not fourteen. Police totally called shenanigans, though, because duh, he snuck into the bedroom window. And the girl didn’t look 20, or even legal, to the cops’ eyes. Also, her bedroom was typical for a young teen. Last but not least, Gahagan didn’t say shit when the girl grabbed her backpack and left for school – he just rolled on over and went back to sleep.
I bet that girl is so grounded. Gahagan was jailed in Bedford on suspicion of sexual assault, and has already paid up on his $50,000 bond to bail out. Way to handle a flight risk, Texas.

I am not Eric. Just a mother myself trying to see things the point of view of both mother’s. I am not calling anyone a liar but where did the person of this site get there info. From a online newspaper or article. Newspapers never lie or get there info wrong. May be he is a sick perv. BUT on the same note maybe he’s not. All I ask is that you do a little research and see that every article is different and says some different stuff. Which is true and which isn’t. I have the right to speak mine just as anyone. I am not like things you have to say and you might not mine.
If it was my daughter i probably would have done the exact same thing. But I would have to ask myself if my daughter actually did what she is accused of and can my family live with the fact that we ruined some guys life or be glad that i got a sick perv of the streets.

She’s 14. Whatever mistakes she may have made are quite beside the point in the eyes of the law. Even if she claimed to be older, he is actually an adult and somewhere along the line he should have (as a card carrying adult) ascertained her age, thought twice about sneaking in her bedroom window and hiding. If my son had, at the age of 27(or 47, which is how old he actually looks), sneaked in through the window of a 14-year old girl, and didn’t make any attempt to verify her age, and had sex with her, I would personally kick his ass myself, after having gone to the parents of the minor girl to offer my sincere apologies for what he had done, and also offering my support in the prosecution of a pedophile.
This does not mean that I would love my son any less, but making excuses for the criminal act would not benefit my son, or the girl.
And if it were my daughter who had invited someone in through her window, I would kick her ass, and still insist that the pedophile be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Because pedophiles are deserving of punishment under the law.
And, to let you know my opinion on “I didn’t know she was underage”;any girl in this country who is of age most likely already has a driver’s license, or at least a learners; and if they don’t they would at the very least have a school ID. Although a school ID as evidence of age should automatically clue you in that the girl is under age in most cases. If the guy doesn’t bother to verify the age of the girl he fucks, I can only believe that he doesn’t care if she is legal or not, and is by definition a pedophile.

I am sure I, as well as most normal people would not be climbing through someone’s window at the age of 27 for sex. I am sorry, but I really can’t see any logical thinking that would lead me to hide in the bedroom for over a day, at the very least, while my “girlfriend” went to school. It is possible that he did not know she was 14 prior to meeting her. It happens, younger kids do lie about their age, but once he had gotten there he should have realized she was much younger then she claimed. I wouldn’t place the blame on any teenager though as you are suggesting. 14 years olds can’t consent to sex for a reason and this man clearly should have known better.

She’s 14 come on…14 year olds can be easily persuaded and are very confused about everything, especially boys. I do think the parents should be more aware of what their daughter is doing online.
