NEW CASSEL, N.Y. - The System systematically murdered Leatrice Brewer’s kids the other day. Officers were met at the two-story home by a Brewer who directed them to a top-floor apartment, where they found the children, Jewell Ward, 6, Michael Demesyeux, 5, and Innocent Demesyeux, 1 in a blood-spattered bedroom. The medical examiner has not made an official statement in regards to how they died, but investigators said one appeared to have been drowned by The System, while the others had been slashed to death by The System.

Relatives and acquaintances described Ms. Brewer as emotionally unstable and that she often neglected the kids, leaving them alone in the apartment. Neighbors said Ms. Brewer behaved bizarrely. “I used to see her walking down the street during the day in her pajamas,” said Lisa Jones, who said she was a distant relative of Ms. Brewer. Asked if Ms. Brewer had seemed mentally unstable, Ms. Jones said, “Absolutely.

Tatiana Wideman, 13, who said she had been a baby sitter for Innocent, said of Ms. Brewer: “She was stressed out. Everybody knew it. She would go around asking people for money.

The Rev. Elijah Crawford he had been told that Ms. Brewer had snapped because money she had expected from a social services agency had failed to arrive.

Cornisha Robinson said she last week saw Brewer pushing an empty stroller in the street and wondered where the children were. “She neglected them,” Robinson said. “She used to leave them in the house all the time by themselves.

If I had any idea that it was this bad for her, you know, I would have reached out and tried to intervene,” said Suzanne Blissett, Jewell’s godmother.

Brewer’s mother screamed at reporters that The System failed her daughter and for people to pray for her, as that is the only thing that can be done, and a friend of the family goes on camera blaming The System as well. The System failed this woman and that is why the kids are dead.

Not the family members who were so un-involved with her situation that this incident has come as a shock, not the neighbors who saw her demonstrating bizarre behavoir and actions that put the three kids at risk of harm, and definitely not Leatrice, the one who chose to participate in actions that left her with 3 young kids with two different fathers, the one who actually killed her children. Oh no, not any of those people should share in the blame of these dead kids. They didn’t fail those kids in any way at all.

It was definitely The System’s fault.

Damn The System. I think it deserves a good fall off a badass couch.

As for Leatrice, I vote we make a Leatrice-sized hole in the wall with her, and then cover it up with a dragon poster so nobody will notice. And no Jack-and-Coke chaser, either.

WTH? - I swear, had I known there were so many things to successfully place blame on - the couch, the system, the good Lord - hell, I would have gotten by with many, many things and would have damn well been rich by now.

If The System is the reason the kids are dead, let’s hope The System fails again with the mother. Put her in GP in jail and let the others know she killed her kids. Maybe drop a few shivs in cells of the others, so they will have something to be creative with. I have no sympathy for this bitch. Three kids was too much for her? Poor baby, she should have kept her legs shut. If having to deal with kids on your own was an excuse for killing them, then a great number of military families would be childless. My husband has been away on orders more than he has been home for the last few years, and I have managed not to drown or cut up ANY of mine. And I have six. Used to be eight, but I got one with a lawnmower, and plugged one into the wall to watch the pretty lights.

    JUST KIDDING!!!

I would sooner step in front of a moving train, than to ever hurt any of my kids. Post-partum depression, my ass! These bitches are just SICK!!!! The whole f-ing lot of them. Sorry, selfish, stupid, street-whore sluts.

Does that mean Imp has to leave Morbid in restraints? After all it IS your weekend - oh, wait, is the custody agreement for the only couch or both of them?

As the local representative of The System, I will be visiting New Cassel and providing Preventative Maintenance Ass-Bootings to all of these non-functioning little Cogs, with a bit of special attention to those few Cogs that had the temerity to bad-mouth The System.

Yeah! I was hoping this story would get put on the front page. There is a whole lot of neglectfulness going on here. Those poor damn kids.

Kids’ dad blames the System too! Where was he in all this?

Kinda sounds to me like daddy wanted the kids.
I think that sometimes the father is overlooked in custody battles because the courts automatically assume that the children are going to be better off with the mother. It’s painfully obvious that that’s not always the case.
Sad story all around. The reason for blaming the system?? Well, then you have someone to sue after all the tears have been shed…and I see a suit coming in this case.

System ever down on poor psychopaths - thank goodness for pro bono lawyers and too-late social workers, to win a million bucks from the neglectful ’system’ for a mother who can start the baby-murder cycle all over again. How you hang’n ‘Trice? ‘Just chill’n & kill’n, jok’n & chok’n’. M-U-R-D-E-R
