Madison Kerr is Missing; Jerry Jones Took Her

UPDATE – 2/21/08 – Madison Kerr has been found safe in Tennessee and has been hospitalized for minor injuries suffered in two car accidents while her father was trying to flee.
Hall County, Georgia – Madison Kerr, 4, is missing. Her father, Jerry Jones, 51, took off with the little girl on FridayFriday reviews
and the pair has not been seen since. It’d be easy to let this one go as a non-custodial parental abduction except for one thing: Jerry Jones has a warrant out for child molestation. Jones allegedly fondled four 8 and 9 year old Gainsville Elementary students. He was out of jail on conditional bond, which bars him from being alone with his daughter.
Jones does not have legal custody of Madison. He is believed to be driving a white 1996 Ford Taurus with Georgia wildlife tags BW6B02. The rear passenger side of the car may be streaked with red paint, and there are multiple pro-life stickers on the car.
Madison Kerr weighs around 42 pounds and is 3′7” tall. She has light brown shoulder length hair which may have been cut or dyed and brown eyes. She has a gap between her two front teeth and a large freckle on her upper left forehead. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a red long-sleeved shirt with hearts and a red ribbon belt
Jerry John Norman Jones is 5′8” tall and weighs 155 pounds as a conservative estimate. He has gray hair, brown eyes, a mole on his left cheek and a receding hairline. The pair was last seen on Friday morning in the Forsyth County, Georgia home of a relative.
UPDATE 2/21/08 – Madison is safe and has only minor injuries. She was found today after her father, Jerry Jones, was spotted with Madison at a Ramada Inn in Franklin, Tennessee. As federal authorities started to close in, Jones took off and led agents on a chase. After two car accidents, Jones was caught in Murfreesboro and Madison was taken to a hospital where she is expected to make a full recovery. And someone needs to slap that bastard for running from the cops with his baby in the car. Idiot. Jones is in the Rutherford County jail.

This is scary on so many levels. Is he going to abuse her, is he just going to kill her, is he going to abuse and then kill her. My hope is he just is a daddy until they catch him, and catch him quick.

What bothers me is that they’ve been gone since Friday morning. That’s just scary. Even if he was innocent, which i doubt, he’s made himself look so guilty by running off with his little girl that he is no doubt feeling trapped and afraid, and that’s not a good scenario for child survival.
If she’s okay, i bet her hair is blonde or red or black, and shorter. He’s probably bald by now and they’re far, far away.

I kept pulling up ANOTHER Jerry Jones from Georgia who murdered family members & kidnapped his daughters a few years ago. I guess in Georgia… “Jerry Jones” is not a great name!

I’m worried for this little girl, daddy is a desperate man. What does he have to lose no doubt he is facing jail time. He definitely has lost his job. I really hope she comes home in one piece. I have a bad feeling!

Madison has been found safe and her father taken into custody. It appears they were in TN. TBI issued an amber alert after a tip and the pair was found shortly after.

Got the article updated – i’ll leave it on the front page for a little while so people will see it. I’m so glad Madison is alive, and so pissed at her father for running with his child in the car. He needs a slapdown for that alone, all the other stuff notwithstanding.

HURRAY!!! I’m glad we have one more happy ending. I know she was probably terrified out of her mind – but she is alive.

OH THANK GOD THEY FOUND HER ALIVE!!! I, too, hope he didn’t do anything to her….look at those beautiful eyes!! She is so precious, and I hope and pray that this has not traumatized this little girl for the rest of her life! Which, unfortunately for her, it probably has.
