Byron Lagoy Kicks Infants

ELLENBURG, N.Y. — Lagoy, 23, was charged with second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child. The indictment alleges that Lagoy “recklessly squeezed” and “violently shook” Jasminejasmine
and threw her onto the couch. She bounced off there and onto the floor, the indictment said, where Lagoy allegedly “recklessly kicked the infant in the head.”.
Heather Boyea, 22, the girl’s “mother”, was arrested as well. She was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child. It is alleged that she did not seek medical help when she saw injuries to the child and lied to investigators about how the injuries where received. The incident happened in December and the infant was in critical condition for a time, and suffered fractures to her skull, ribs, both arms and both legs, as well as an acute femur fracture and a compression fracture in the spine. She is now in the custody of Clinton County Social Services.

Reckless usually means that there was disregard. In other words, he intended to kick the baby in the head, but he wasn’t concerned with the consequences. At the time of the statement, I am assuming they did not want to state that the man intended to kill the baby.

and found this guy Joshua Cohen (20) … that assaulted his 11 week old.
Joshua later admitted to throwing her off the bed, banging her head into the metal bed frame, shaking her violently and repeatedly kicking her in her head.

Wonder: Fortunately, 99% don’t beat our babies senseless. As parents, we stress out and go nuts, never having expected our kids to misbehave the way they do. But, it’s life. Most of us, this 99%, love our kids to death regardless of the day-to-day problems we face. Every day is a “parenting class.” But the concept of lethal violence never crosses our minds.
These two kids are the 1%. The jerkwater lunatic fringe, tinged with meth or booze. And Jasmine shows up as an unplanned pregnancy, complicating a dysfunctional relationship between two idiot psychos. Parenting class does not help in these cases. No way.
