Yep. Asshole is an understatement. Those babies will be scarred for life. They will never be the same, will probably never lead normal lives.
How the hell can you shoot yourself in the face and survive? I hope they aren’t wasting pain meds on him. I hope his ass is missing a nose, a jaw and maybe an eye or two so he can live the rest of his life having to explain how it all happened.

As for putting a shotgun in the mouth, that doesn’t always work either. I saw “initial trauma care” pictures of a guy who failed at this and he looked like someone had turned a tomato inside out, but he was alive, poor fellow.
