Jason ReiterCassandra Reiter

Russellville, Alabama — Jason and Cassandra Reiter don’t like to get high in front of the kids. So Jason, 24, and Cassandra, 23, put Cassandra’s three children in a locked bedroom when they were going to be using drugs in other parts of the family trailer. And then they forgot about them.

Cassandra Reiter’s children are three, four, and six years old. According to investigators, the bedroom where the children were placed lacked bathroom facilities, and the children were not fed or given water while in the room. The kids were left in the locked room for so long that they routinely used the bathroom on the floor and were then exposed to their own waste for hours on end.

This wasn’t a one-time occurrence, either. It happened often enough that the family was being investigated by the Department of Human Resources based on reports submitted to the agency by concerned parties. In other words, they got hotlined. Probably a lot.

The Reiters are being held in the Franklin County Jail on bail of $25,000 each. Franklin County District Attorney Joey Rushing said the couple should be arraigned later this month.

I am totally siding with the parents on this one. You can’t have kids bothering you while your booting up, passing the biscuits, or visiting MaryJane. It just ruins the buzz. On the up side, I’m sure that shit pile made one helluva sandbox. MMMMmmm ….. mudpies.

*puts bong down and goes let the kiddies out of the dog kennel* muhahahahhaa

Lol Old Man Metal and Hippiepoet…Seriously, though, I hate people like this. I can’t stand it when people who did not have enough brain cells to begin with get high and do shit like this. Save what little brain power you have left and put the pipe down!

“Put the pipe down and walk away!” That sounds familiar, somehow.
