Lytanza Robinson Pulls A Britney, Kills Baby

Atlanta, GA - Lytanza Robinson’s infant child is dead because she decided to go for a drive with her baby in her lap.  Britney Spears did it, so it must be okay, right?  Wrong.    Robinson, 20,  was driving down an Atlanta parkway with her two-month-old infant sitting between Lytanza and the steering wheel.  Then, just before 7:00 SundaySunday reviews
morning,  Lytanza hit a light pole. Authorities aren’t saying why.Â
 When the airbag deployed, it hit the baby square in the face. The infant, whose name has not been released yet, died on the way to the hospital, but Lytanza suffered only minor injuries. It would be easy to dismiss this case as “stupid mother kills infant by mistake”, and that may be the case. But seriously? Who goes for a little drive that early on a Sunday morning and doesn’t put the baby in the carseat? And what are the odds that the one time the baby wasn’t in the carseat would be the one time she’d hit a light pole and deploy the airbag?  Something isn’t gelling right.Â
I think it’s reasonable to suspect that Robinson was overwhelmed by motherhood and was attempting a murder, or a murder-suicide. Otherwise, why have your baby sitting – not lying – right in the path of the airbag? Doesn’t make sense.
Robinson has been charged with vehicular homicide (some reports say vehicular manslaughter), reckless driving, driving on a suspended license, failure to maintain her lane, hitting a fixed object and two seat belt violations. As of Monday morning, she had been released from the hospital and is now being held at the Fulton County Jail.

Dude, she looks like a nutcase. She is actually smirking in this picture. They need to lock her up and throw away the key. And give tie her tubes while she’s in there, just in case…

I *think* that’s her mugshot because it didn’t hit the press until this morning after she’d been booked into jail last night. Until then, there was no photo posted anywhere. So…. yeah, that grin is kinda freaky.

Maybe she was on her way to church and thought God would protect the baby. Sometimes I think these babies are lucky to die. With an idiot for a parent, how good the future be?
How can a person be charged for hitting fixed object with their car? I always thought that was a misfortune, not a crime.

Yep … just going for a Sunday drive on my suspended license without fastening my baby in the car seat. Sure it’s too early to actually “go” anywhere, but hey, what’s the worst that could happen????

maybe she works 3rd shift and picked the child up at the babysitters who lives nearby her home. she was so happy to see her child and wanted to hold her. not an excuse for not using the car seat. but most think these things don’t happen…. most accidents happen within 7 miles of ones home.
I can’t imagine being in jail when your child just died – they would have me on suicide watch i would probably be hysterical – crying the blues – die of broken heart – this is horrible!!!

seriously? That’s why she had her infant daughter on her lap?
Um.. not buying it. Most third shifts end at 7 anyway, and the accident occurred before that. And her license was suspended – she shouldn’t have been driving at all, much less with her baby girl in her lap.

I say she more then likely thought…I will run to do a little errand and it’s quicker then stapping the kid in…I can just hold him and everything will be fine….she doesn’t really look like she was the brightest type of person….so I wonder if she eeven thought about the airbag going off…it’s kid’s having kid’s….make’s me wonder what type of parent’s that she had…..and how they raised her…

I think you’re right on the mark with your analysis. As for her parents, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Unless she’s mentally retarded or something, we can guess her parents drove her around in the car in just this same way.
She’s pretty. I bet the baby was, too. I’m glad we don’t have a baby photo for this one. They tear me apart.
