BOULDER, Colo. (AP) The family of a college student beaten to death 12 years ago told her killer that his life was spared Monday because his victim would not have wanted anyone, even her murderer, to receive the death penalty.

Boulder County District Judge James C. Klein gave Olmos Alcalde the mandatory sentence for first-degree murder, sentencing him to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Alcalde also received 48 years in prison for sexual assault and 24 years for kidnapping.

Klein ordered the latter two sentences to be served concurrently after the life sentence.

Aug. 2003: The Wyoming Supreme Court reverses Alcaldeâ€™s conviction because during jury deliberations a juror had to take leave because of a medical condition, and the trial judge erred by allowing an alternate juror to enter into the juryâ€™s deliberations after they had already started.

What bullshit. At least they convicted the caveman a year later, I guess.

I say we section off a state no oneâ€™s using, give them all the drugs and weapons they want, and let them battle it out. Now thatâ€™s reality television Iâ€™d actually watch!

Nice nick! I recommend a state with a lot of desert, so there’s no messy cleanup- just let the heat and the buzzards do the work. My money’s on the Aryans, just because they’re so good at playing both ends against the middle.

Sentenced to 7-10 for Kidnapping, then paroled less than 3 years later, gotta love prison overcrowding! I say we section off a state no one’s using, give them all the drugs and weapons they want, and let them battle it out. Now that’s reality television I’d actually watch!

I saw his ugly mug this morning, on yahoo news. This guy has the “no-neck” syndrome thing going on. I’m glad the DNA solved this case and now this fuck will be subjected to some raping of his own.
