North Fayette, PA – Two college students are dead and one is critically wounded after H. Paul Visnansky, 23, shot up his girlfriend’s apartment late Tuesday night. Visnansky, a postal worker, entered the apartment to find Michelle Machusko, 20, working on online coursework with Jonathan “Gillie” Gilbert, 22, and MichaelMichael reviewsMichael reviews “Fudd” Tatalovich, 20. Gilbert and Tatalovich were killed; Machusko is critical. In a painful twist, Michael Tatalovich’s father, aunt and grandfather are all coroners in the area.

Police were called by neighbors who heard shots. On arriving at the home, they heard a man yell “Just a minute” as though he was going to let them in, but then heard rustling and what sounded like a window or glass door opening. Police ran outside to find Visnansky jumping off the second-floor balcony. He was carrying a .357 Magnum and told police “There’s three dead inside”.

When asked what had happened, Visnansky said that he didn’t really remember, but “the gunpowder smelled really bad”. There were four guns found inside the apartment. Manchusko rented the place, but Visnansky apparently lived there as well. All three victims were attending Robert Morris University in Moon Township.

Visnansky is being held without bail on charges of criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and criminal intent to commit homicide.

Hmmm… played paintball for ten years then became a postman? Clearly this one sets and works towards long-term goals. “I wanna be a postman someday, Dad.” “Well, son, just keep shooting your friends, and someday you will be!”

WTF… burnt smokeless powder smells great! Better than napalm in the morning…

What is this world coming to when even postal workers take their work home.

I was sick yesterday and didn’t log in and I come back and see that while I was lying on the couch, people were still shooting each other for no reason at all. Just too much. How awful for the family that they had to send the bodies to who knows where so that a relative wouldn’t have to do the autopsy.

I’m guessing this was jealousy — the two guys died and the woman was “punished.” But I”ll sit back and see what unfolds.

Visnansky pled guilty, received two life sentences w/o parole with 20-40 for the attempted homicide on Michelle…

Machusko, 20, was shot seven times Jan. 22 in Allegheny County. She still has trouble speaking and her right side remains paralyzed.

According to a Pittsburgh newspaper, Machusko was in court Monday and provided a statement read by Allegheny County Deputy District Attorney Mark Tranquilli. In it, she described how Visnansky had held her face down to shoot her in the head.

“I am angry with what he is putting our families through,” she wrote. “I will never forgive him for doing this to us.”

Her statement also said the shooting left her unable to drive, work a normal job or pursue her passion — ballet.

Friends and family of Gilbert and Tatolovich also read statements.
