Brianna Denison Is Missing – Possible Arrest Made

Reno, Nev – I am late getting this story up because of a dentist appointment. Please, don’t worry about me or attempt to send me flowers and well-wishes, as it wasn’t MY dentist appointment. Anyway, after partying at the Sands Regency Hotel Casino earlier in the night, Brianna Denison, 19, ended up at a friends house to spend the night on their couch. The friend gave Denison a blanket and pillow before going upstairs to bed. When the friend came downstairs later that day, Brianna was missing. There was a blood stain the size of a silver dollar on her pillow. Her purse, shoes and cell phone were still there.
Police are now looking to talk to a man driving a sports utility vehicle. Reno police released a surveillance image showing the man’s beige or light-brown Chevrolet Suburban leaving the casino’s parking lot Sunday morning. The unidentified driver is described as a white male, possibly of Latin descent, with a medium build. Police want to talk to him because he picked up one of Denison’s friends around 1 a.m. Sunday at the Sands Regency Hotel Casino and dropped her off at the house where Denison was staying.
There was no indication Denison had been drinking heavily or using drugs SaturdaySaturday reviews
night and that none of the roommates who live in the house reported any altercations at the casino party. The house, which is rented by college students, was not locked during the night. Oh yeah, a 2-foot tall teddy bear is also missing. It had been given to Denison as an extra pillow. Denison is a student at Santa Barbara City College in California and is described as 5 feet tall, weighing 98 pounds, with long dark brown hair and blue eyes. Detectives say Denison may be wearing light-blue or pink sweat pants and a white tank top.

Police say a positive DNA link has been established between the abduction of a college student from a Reno home last week and a December sexual assault of another student who lived a few blocks away. Imagine thatImagine That reviews.
Update Nov 26th:
KRNV-TV is reporting that James Biela, 27, was arrested late Tuesday, booked at the Washoe County Jail and charged with murder, first-degree kidnapping and sexual assault. It is believed he is connected to the kidnapping and murder of Brianna. Investigators are holding a press conference today to formally announce the arrest.

This one is veeeery strange, no? Missing 2ft. tall teddy bear, little bitty blood stain, nobody hears a thing?
And what’s up with the SUV guy? He dropped somebody at the house? Was that before or after Brianna arrived? If it was after that means there were at least 3 people in the house. Purse and shoes still being there is not a good sign but man, something stinks.

Headline News is really reporting on this one. The driver is considered harmless and may not even be aware anyone is looking for him. There is also some tips coming in to police that a body was dropped at an area, but they have not located one. There was a glass door right by where Brianna was sleeping and anyone looking in would have seen her sleeping on the couch.
Even more disturbing is the fact that there were three bloodstains found and they were a combination of blood, mucous and saliva.
This one will end badly.

The door to the home was unlocked, but KT says her friend had no enemies.”I have no thoughts of who could have done this, who could have just walked into my house and taken my friend.”
Brianna’s friend, KT seems to think it may have been just a random person who saw her friend sleeping inside. She made reference to two other recent rapes and attempted rapes that have taken place in that neighborhood.

“K.T.” Hunter is a close friend of the missing girl. She says Brianna went to sleep on a couch in the living room, but when she woke up to check on her…
“She wasn’t there and I noticed blood on the pillow so we called the cops. From then, it’s just been a nightmare,” said Hunter.
The aunt says: “What scares me is, like the dog not barking. Did he know that person that came in? Did they sleep through a dog barking? Why did she not scream?” said Denison.

Rena says police are investigating Brianna’s most recent boyfriend, a young college student who lives in Oregon. She says he and Brianna exchanged a series of text messages the night she disappeared.
“Just awful. They were breaking up kind of stuff, saying awful things, calling her all kinds of names. He’s just young and jealous,” said Denison.
Brianna’s aunt says the boyfriend was in Reno Friday night, but was supposed to return to college the next day.

Geez….looking at all her pictures was hard. She looks so happy, and she is such a beautiful young woman. Something sounds really amiss in this story, though. A dog that didn’t bark with a supposed intruder? A young woman who vanishes without one noise in the night? Someone had to have knocked her ass out quickly and snatched her, or she knew who the someone was, so she didn’t scream out in alarm.

Denison’s friend, K.T. Hunter, told a Reno newspaper that the couch is against the wall of her bedroom.
She was sleeping in the room, along with her dog, when Denison disappeared.
Hunter, 19, said she didn’t hear any noise and the dog never barked.

I’d be surprised if that was the case. If someone were to slip into my house, through an unlocked patio door, while I was sleeping in my room with the door shut, I’d never know it. Add to the fact that we have no idea of the level of alcohol in any of these people’s system (they were at a party after all) and I do not find it unreasonable at all that someone could have walked right in, took a whack and carried her out.
Let’s not forget, Bundy went into a sorority house, and in less than half an hour, bludgeoned 4 women who were all sleeping in fairly close proximity to each other.

I read somewhere that she went Snowboarding at Squaw Valley, then a concert then the casino. Even as young as 19 she had to be exhausted and if her friend was with her the entire time then she must have been exhausted as well. If there was alcohol involved on top of that then she may very well have slept through the whole thing.

I live in Reno and i know Bri.. she was an amazing friend.. there was some alcohol use but not an excessive amount.. and i know for a fact she doesnt do drugs.. she was attending S.W.A.T. its where you go snowboarding, get taken to a casino to gamble, and a concert.. the guy in the SUV has just recently gone to the cops and is cooperating with them and trying to help.. they have canine units out 24/7 around reno currently.. the reward her parents put up is about $$100.000 dollars in regard to ANY information to help find her.. i hope to hell shes ok..

Nevermind. Someone else found the info already.
Just for reference, this is the address she was located. Look where Virginia Street and College Drive are located.
Although the investigators say these are not related, the cases are unsolved and have to be the incidents the other girl was talking about in the news reports.
Something else to note, Brianna was a small girl…sleeping with a teddy bear by a glass door. I also read that the blanket she was using was found in the kitchen.

I say lock lock lock and every other morning when I leave to take the kids to school I forget to lock the door as I’m the last one out. Granted its only me coming back to the robbers/rapists/murderers but I feel safe here, and bulletproof, and things like that don’t HAPPEN here. Somehow I doubt that anyone with a “bestest” friend, who can barely set up a free blog account, is working closely with the FBI to bring down a dozen sarcastic (but otherwise empathetic) on-lookers.
My guess is that this kid is just jealous. He’s had a crush on this chick for years, but has been too embarrassed to say anything. And now, the thought of some creepy dude having his way with Brianna, when it should have been HIM, is just tearing him up inside. The guy is obviously a virgin, and quite unstable. If the FBI wanted to monitor a future rapist, their profiler could do worse than looking into this freak.
