Steven Lorenzo Leonard Pimps Children

Seattle - And he would have gotten away with it too, if not for that meddling fiancee. Steven Lorenzo J. Leonard, 23, has a long criminal record that includes theft, animal cruelty, and escape from custody. He’s listed as a “transient”. And yet this guy apparently holds some Morbid-like sway over the ladies, living at homes of various women who describe themselves as his “fiancees”. Things were going pretty well for Leonard and his fiancees until one of them got mad, got even, and turned him in to a missing child’s family.
On January 9, Leonard lured a twelve year old girl. He chatted her up, groomed her a little, gave her some Jesus juice, got her comfy and raped her. He now says the multiple instances of unprotected sex he had with the child were consensual, being a total asshat who doesn’t realize you can’t have consensual sex with a seventh-grader. After that, he kept her and told her she’d be working for him from now on.
The girl’s frantic family was calling police for updates, contacting congressmen, trying to get their child’s picture in the press. Meantime, Leonard was whoring her out on the streets of Seattle. Mind you, this child does not look legal. Police say it’s clear she’s a juvenile and a small one at that. But Leonard managed, some pervert paid up, and the little girl’s psyche went straight to hell, after which she didn’t even try to run. No doubt Leonard worked his pimp magic on her, explaining that her family would never want her back after what she’d done or some such bullshit.
During the days Leonard had the girl, he made use of her himself a number of times in a number of locations. One of which was a “fiancee’s” house. On January 15, this fiancee suddenly had a light bulb go on over her head, bless her heart. She realized what was happening. She realized she’d gotten screwed in more ways than one and that a child was being hurt. So in an excellent payback move, the fiancee snooped through the little girl’s backpack, found a phone number, and called the child’s family.
The fiancee told the family where the child was and what exactly Leonard was doing with her. When relatives located the child with Leonard on a street in downtown Seattle, they “just ran up and took her”, says Seattle Police Sgt. Ryan Long. Leonard “was a little argumentative at first,” Long says, “but the relative who did the finding is a big guy.”
Family members exercised amazing restraint by not killing Leonard right there in the street. Instead, they immediately took the child victim to the hospital for a rape exam and medical care. They then called police, who interviewed the child and were able to arrest Leonard on Wednesday. The fiancee says she’d like her record collection back.

Poor Mr. Lorenzo finally had a chance of a lucrative business and was stopped just as it was getting off the ground. I wonder how long it will be until he is back on the streets and doing the same thing. My bet is less than a year.

He looks like a KID his damn self…I would have pimped HIM. He came across the right naive, desperate girls to prey upon…had he met a chick like me he wouldn’t have got a dime and he damn sure wouldn’t have gotten far. I’m glad (and surprised) the family didn’t take matters into their own hands right then & there…vigilante justice is sometimes the ONLY “justice” a family can receive in a world where the criminals have more rights than the victims!

this creep should be put away for a long time but I know that is just a dream because with judges like the ones we have now, he will be out give and take 1 1/2 years…. he’s business up and running then he won’t be as easy to catch …..

I wouldn’t have been able to be that nice. I have a concealed carry permit for a reason, dammit! I would’ve shot the bastard, multiple times, stomped on his prone body, and smiled as I held out my hands for the officer to put the cuffs on. I’d rather take a chance that a jury would acquit me on principle, than take the chance this nasty ass-munch would get off on a technicality and abuse some other child. What a fucking waste of oxygen he is!

State v. Leonard: Defendant Steven L. Leonard was convicted of two counts of Second-Degree Child Rape and Promoting Commercial Sexual Abuse of a Minor for raping a 12 year-old girl and forcing her into prostitution. The defendant has been sentenced to 23 years in prison. Senior DPA Julie Kays handled the prosecution of this case.
