Even though we were not nominated, other of our fellow true crime related bloggers were. So if you get the chance, stop by In Cold Blog and vote for your favorites. I have decided to make this more interesting, since I am not on the list. Read the Categories and more info will follow.

    7. We multitask – between the front page, the forums, the chat room, and licking Morbid’s Hallucinogenic Cybertoad, there is lots to do here.

    5. If you act like an idiot, we will tell you so. We will still like you (maybe), and you will still be welcome, but we may call you names in public. Where else can you be humiliated for free? In some cities that kind of service is $150 an hour.

    3. Suggestions for treatment programs for offenders here are creative and entertaining. Not always legal or realistic, but creative and entertaining.

    2. We write good crime here. It’s not traditional “alleged perp” style journalism, but it’s good. And we dig up dirt other people don’t have, sometimes. We’re cool like that.

    1. We have the best commenter base on the internet, bar none. You guys stick around and keep mouthing off, someone’s bound to notice. :)

    Morbid more than deserved to be nominated. This one and viewmydeath.com They missed some good ones. I would like to know (as I messaged you on My Space) who came up w/ the nominations? I agree A&E should have the BEST forensics and crime shows, hands down. Most of these other “popular” crime blogs I never even heard of. I came across this one by accident and bookmarked it from day one. Love it, keep up the good work, Morbid :) You deserved not only a nomination but a win as well.

    Bumping this since it is still ongoing. Also, In Cold Blog changed the name of the awards to In Cold Blog Detectives to avoid confusion with another award.
