  • Dreamin’ NOT on the poll?! Where is the write-in option?!

And AB gets the idea and is currently the winner of all items listed with a 100 percent chance!
  • dammitall
I bet you get nominated next year. This place is taking off.

Looking at that list makes me wish Jack Olsen were still alive. He was a gent.
  • We'll be the sleeper win in 2008. :)
  • Kathy

Hey! I haven't had a chance to comment yet! I was at CHURCH goddammit! *waits for lightning*

I don't care who wins, but whoever gets the film or documentary has to host a movie night at their house. I'll bring popcorn. :D

Hey! I haven’t had a chance to comment yet! I was at CHURCH goddammit! *waits for lightning*

Stop it. You're making Baby Jesus cry.
  • I'm blond, Morbid's awesome, Kathy can bring me food anytime.

Um... I think that covers it
  • Imp's Reasons We Will Be The Sleeper Hit of 2008:

    10. Duh. I'm here now. :)

    9. Morbid's Fan Club, The Pantythrowin' Dolls. Membership is $5.00, paypaled to me. I'll give Kathy her pimp cut.

    8. We say the Eff Word and other blogs don't. Also, we have a couch.

    7. We multitask - between the front page, the forums, the chat room, and licking Morbid's Hallucinogenic Cybertoad, there is lots to do here.

    6. We live by the snark, we die by the snark. Or the couch.

    5. If you act like an idiot, we will tell you so. We will still like you (maybe), and you will still be welcome, but we may call you names in public. Where else can you be humiliated for free? In some cities that kind of service is $150 an hour.

    4. The beatdown effect. Everyone loves an angry mob.

    3. Suggestions for treatment programs for offenders here are creative and entertaining. Not always legal or realistic, but creative and entertaining.

    2. We write good crime here. It's not traditional "alleged perp" style journalism, but it's good. And we dig up dirt other people don't have, sometimes. We're cool like that.

    1. We have the best commenter base on the internet, bar none. You guys stick around and keep mouthing off, someone's bound to notice. :)
  • colomom
    Wow, nice prizes, I'm in.

IMHO DD should have been nominated, it's just so unfair :(

    Wait til next year!
  • Hippiepoet
Somebody say "prizes". I am fucking in!
  • lisafer
    I lost my comment!
    I want a prize!
Best Sarcastic and Least "Warm-Fuzzy" Crime Blog: Dreamin' Demon!
Best TV Crime -u-drama: Most Evil!
    Best well-written-blog: True Crime Weblog!
Best at sticking to her guns, and doesn't post nearly regularly enough : Laura James! (we're equally appalled at how easily women seem to slip through the long arm...etc...)
Best Hall Of Fame (having read only 5 of them): In Cold Blood!

    and...

Best Crime Blog reader who holds her tongue and tries not to get into catfights on the interwebz: Lisafer the Impaler!

Now, I can has votes plz? Kthxbai.
  • tjangel
it's so unfair, dd is way better than those other sites!
  • Ruby
    Did someone say prizes?!?! PRIZES?!?

    I thought so. I'm in. :-)
  • ashdavus
    PRIIIZEEES!!! Me LIKE prizes!!

This is bar none the most twisted and entertaining group of people I know. And I know some REALLY twisted people!!
  • WryBread
Gotta think about this one. I want the prizes.
  • WryBread
Wait a minute. That will mean Morbid will learn where I live. Could this be what's up with all this prize biz? He has his eye on someone's couch ....
  • mijilu
Oh now really! His greatness not nominated? A cryin' shame! But hey, this is the best contest I've seen in awhile. I want the goodies!
  • Just bumping this for the masses.
  • Morbid more than deserved to be nominated. This one and viewmydeath.com They missed some good ones. I would like to know (as I messaged you on My Space) who came up w/ the nominations? I agree A&E should have the BEST forensics and crime shows, hands down. Most of these other "popular" crime blogs I never even heard of. I came across this one by accident and bookmarked it from day one. Love it, keep up the good work, Morbid :) You deserved not only a nomination but a win as well.
  • Bumping this since it is still ongoing. Also, In Cold Blog changed the name of the awards to In Cold Blog Detectives to avoid confusion with another award.
