Mean Girls Are Really, Really…. Mean.

LaSalle County, Illinois - If you mess with their boyfriends, Tabitha Smiley, Cassidy Neff and Alyssa Walzer will jack you up without hesitation. Smiley, 18, and Neff and Walzer, both 17, are accused of kidnapping, torturing and embarrassing the crap out of another teenager last month over a dispute involving a boy. So of course all three accused girls have Myspaces. I linked them for you above, because I’m nice like that.
Last December 3rd, the Hellcat Three pulled up next to the 18 year old alleged victim as she walked home from school. Tabitha, who looks like she could handle herself and a few others, was driving. Cassidy and Alyssa allegedly got out, shoved the victim into the back of the van, and beat the holy living hell out of her.
Then, in a demonic fit of hormonal bitchiness, the Hellcat Three shaved some of their victim’s hair off and tied her to a tree with a dog chain. Then they had tea and cookies, chatted about boys and hair, and left. Although probably not with tea or cookies or chatting.
After some time had passed, the victim was able to get out of the chain, which wasn’t very well-fastened. She got to a street, flagged down a ride, and was taken to a hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries and released. Her family wasn’t too cool with MyspaceMySpace
-brand white girl gangsta revenge and called the police.
As of this morning, Smiley and Neff were reported custody in lieu of $75,000 bond each on charges of kidnapping, unlawful restraint, and battery. Warrants had been issued for Walzer. But while I was playing Myspace Detective, I found this on Walzer’s page: “THIS IS ALYSSAS FRIEND/ ALYSSA IS LOCKED UP SO DONT THINK SHES IGNORING YOU.” Can’t you just see that phone call? “Um, hi. I’m in jail, can you update my Myspace so peeps at school don’t think I’m just ignoring them?”
Heh. If these snotty twits get even some of the time they have coming, they could easily do a few years each in prison. I’m guessing they’ll find that boyfriends really do not show up on visiting day. Hope he was worth it.

I grew up with girls like this in my high school. They would jump girls behind school and cause serious injury. In my high school black students were the majority. I took two metro buses so it wasn’t in my neighborhood which was mostly Italian. I was discriminated against and harassed for being white, white bitch, white girl is looking at your man, you get the idea. Always an adventure getting home. Getting jumped on the metro, razor blades to the face, weaves being pulled out, that was every other day. I was a small girl so I tried to stay out of the way. I have a friend who was beaten so bad for looking at someones boyfriend her retina detached from her eye, and they broke her nose. Also, there were many “wiggers” when I was in high school these girls grew out of it. I think it’s a phase for some at least.
As soon as I finished college I moved to the outer area of town. I’m thrilled with our school district and am always shocked at how much they do for the kids compared to in the city. I am always telling my son how lucky he is to have such a nice school. When I have picked my son up after school I always think when I see the groups of kids, shit whens the fight going to break out haha!

Hey Catlady, I’m just wondering….what’s wrong with being a black person anyway? I’m black (thank you very much), not slutty, never grew up in the ghetto or “hood”, I don’t speak “ebonics”, I came from a well off family, I have friends of all races, I don’t have the stereotypical “black” accent, I don’t have a “baby daddy”, I work practically every day, I pay my bills and I’m finishing college.
Now, if being a productive member of society is a bad thing, I guess for me, being black is bad huh?
And if you’re worried about the future of our country, I’d suggest moving. We’re already in the handbasket on it’s way to hell.

Let me make this clear to you since your reading comprehension seems to be a little challenged. There’s NOTHING wrong with being a black person, and I NEVER said or implied there was. I never said or implied black people were “slutty” either and it was very clear that these girls were the ones I was talking about, and, in case you didn’t notice, they are WHITE. If you want to be mad, be mad at the idiots that promote the caricature of black people that only listen to rap, are “gangstaz,” etc., etc. etc. That’s what these stupid little bitches were doing and that’s where the real crime is and is one I detest.

It’s sad that people would be ashamed of their own culture and not embrace it and be the best Italian, German, Jew, white, black, etc and make their own race proud. I am such a mixed race– German, Cherokee (Oklahoma type) Italian. I researched my family tree and found out my great great grandmother was a “camp follower” to the gold miners. I don’t think they want to be a different race, I think they want to be “gansta” which is the new “cool” for this generation. Just like flower children were in the 60’s. Their parents hated their lifestyle too. Nothing has changed.
These girls, who would consider physical violence at the risk of jail (which I would bet never crossed their minds) over a boy were failed on a much deeper level.
And Michael Jackson has vitiligo which can be devastating for one’s self confidence and makes it very difficult to function in society, let alone on the stage. His skin lightening was done (with drugs) in order to acheive a more “normal” look (all one color). I am sure he would have done the opposite (darkened his skin) if it was possible. It’s not.
Even bringing race into this discussion is part of “the problem”.

Yeah, I knew from Catlady’s post that she was referring to the public media image of blacks, which is gangsta, hip-hop, rap and so forth. If you took a look at these girls’ myspace pages, that would have been clear. And if you hadn’t perhaps it wasn’t clear.
There’s a lot that’s right about being black — or whatever one is. And I’m opening to borrowing the best from any ethnic group/racial group’s history. The idea in my book is to be American and we come in all colors.

ERNurse! You made me laugh! I’ve always read that Michael Jackson goal is to look like Diana Ross. They were very close when he was young and there is a sort or resemblance, though Diana is beautiful and Michael has made himself scary.
Vitiligo can be very strange looking with a terrific contrast of color between the light and dark patches, not anything subtle. It’s a terrible condition. But I think what Colomon may have meant was that Jackson was seeking to make himself look, not more normal, but less odd! No, that won’t fly will it, when you consider the nose. I guess he was trying to be in control of the ways in which he looked odd.
I’d love to see what Michael Jackson thinks he looks like. It must be different from what the rest of us see.

Two of my adopted Russian kids (not the two referenced in another post) who are as white as the driven snow also seem to want to be “black”–but it is just the gangsta image they are really after. It’s just hard for us old fuddy-duddies to understand–And I’m all of 15 whopping years older than the oldest! They say, “Mom, you just don’t get it, it’s a new world!” And I guess, to some degree, they are right. 15 short years ago the world was a very different place–a place in which we couldn’t possibly have this discussion–a place in which I couldn’t possibly have had children adopted from Russia. One of them was born in the USSR, his brother, born 2 years later in the same city, was born into a new country.
These kids, who insisted on wearing undershirts, tucking in their shirts and buttoning up dress shirts to their chins (much to the horror of their young mom who tried to explain to these non-English speaking kids that they lookd like dorks!) when they arrived in this country not even 7 years ago now attempt to leave the house in pants 6 sizes too big for them with crotches around their knees, baseball hats with flat brims tilted to the side, bling bling (another thing, or at least a word, that didn’t exist when we were kids!), and sneakers that make the moonboots of the 80s look petite.
Ya know what’s funny? Every time I take them shopping I make them try on several pairs of jeans and they always grudgingly admit that the ones that fit them right over their hips feel the best.. .they’re just not cool enough. So they buy one of those and three of the ones that are a couple sizes too large–just large enough that they have to pick them up like a Victorian lady’s skirts in order to run!
When they hang out at home they wear the ones that fit, when they think someone they might ever see again in their lives might see them, on go the gangsta pants.
So why do I buy the gangsta pants? Because when I was 14-16 I bleached my jeans in the washing machine, sliced them up prior to wearing them, and wore a fringed leather jacket in both below zero and in 90 degree weather–neither of which it was appropriate for. I grew up and got over it, and I figure they will too.
But I really wish they wouldn’t hang out with slutty little bitches of any heritage! I wonder if I looked like a slutty little bitch to my boyfriends’ moms! Probably.

It appears that MJ may have a dissociative disorder. He doesn’t seem to see himself the way others do. That includes his relationships with young boys. Most people think his behavior in that regard is outrageous but still, he tries to justify it.
While I did quote your post, that last line was directed at the entire discussion, not at any one person directly. Didn’t mean to imply that you were responsible. Actually I don’t care who started it, I just meant that it is unproductive in a rational discussion.

Colomom, Yes, I’ve been an ER nurse for 16 years. I guess I see so much really bad and sad stuff that vitiligo pales (ha) in comparison. My nephew has this and is quite shy about it. It’s mainly on his hands and forearms. I apologize for being insensitive. I wasn’t aware that there was racist stuff going on in the comments. Talking about different races is healthy as long as everyone is respectful. We are different and that is cool. I appreciate your posts COLOMOM and always read them.

That’s probably because she really doesn’t mean the things she is saying here, she just wants us to think she does. She’s probably sitting on her bed in her room, thinking she just pulled a good one on some adults who have been calling her ass on the carpet. When she gets to the point that she really is sorry for what she did, the first person she will try to make amends to is the victim – not a bunch of people she doesn’t even know. The only thing she’s sorry about at this point, is getting caught and having the whole world know what kind of a spiteful brat she is. I’ll believe her when she takes all of the mean bullshit off of her myspace page, and devotes an equal amount of space on said page to admitting she was wrong, and publicly apologizing to the victim. I’m not gonna hold my breath, though…

Tabitha – You illustrate yourself a certain way. The speech, the behavior, etc. I’m afraid you can’t blame people taking this illustration at face value. If you want people to think better of you, it’s your responsibility and your responsibility alone to give them a reason to. Thus far, you haven’t. Hopefully, our response to your MySpace page gives you an accurate representation of what the general public sees when they look at it and makes you want to reassess your image.
