CONNELLSVILLE, Pa. – I am sure that it has happened to all of us at some time or another. You are simply caring for a young child and decide to sleep in the same bed with them. You are then awakened by the child’s screaming because for some inexplicable reason, you have inadvertently started fucking them. Just one big misunderstanding. Same thing happened to Jeremiah as well. He was caring for a 5-year-old girl and while sleeping in the same bed with her, sexually assaulted her. The little girl told her mother when she got home and the police were called. Using the Jeremiah claims it was an accident and that he must have been dreaming.

Police charged McGee with felony rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and statutory sexual assault. He is in the Fayette County Prison on $100,000 bond until he faces a judge on the charges later this month.

    Jeremiah McGee, 26, of 107 W. Cedar Ave., Connellsville, was found not guilty of rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault, indecent assault and corruption of minors.

    A jury of 11 men and a woman deliberated for 30 minutes before returning the not-guilty verdicts before Judge John F. Wagner Jr. on Tuesday.

    Connellsville police filed the charges after a 5-year-old girl told a Children and Youth Services representative that McGee had engaged in a sex act with her at a house in the city.

    I'd like to see some legal precedent set on this one so David Spears doesn't try to claim that he tripped over a goat rope and fell.
