Well..they can get be pretty loud. I always found that at 2, you can still give them a good thump on the soft spot. That’ll usually shut ‘em up for a bit…at least long enough for me to get some World of Warcraft gaming done. The only side effects seem to be that he has a tendency to walk in circles, but that actually provides the family with some entertainment. So it’s a win-win.

“benadryl” OMG That is so funny. My pediatrician even suggested that once for sleep when my baby was so colicky. I remember him saying “Laura, a little Benadryl once in a while isn’t going to hurt them.” Smart doc. I loved him, wish he was still my kids pediatrician.

ells I was thinking about that myself. If they are all her children (are they?), then she could’ve been 17 and had one every year. Perhaps she started a little earlier and skipped a year an took a break.
This girl looks so mean, so lost, and definitely has a drug problem. Look at that face. I wonder if she wasn’t all fucked up, and went off on the kid, or if she was tweekin’ bad and went off. Does this sister have any prior arrests/offenses? Just curious.

I just read a column in my local paper about a lady with *six* (I think) kids. She’s trying hard,but they move a lot and don’t have transportation. She’s being sued by a welfare to work agency for back rent because she OMG GOT A JOB! Her rent was like $83.00 a month,and they raised it to almost 400.00 and she could no longer afford it.
I wanted to feel bad for her, I really did, but I just couldn’t. I mean,its a week before Christmas, I’m thinking about ebaying a gift because I think the water heater is failing,and rebuying the gift in a month for a bday rather than Christmas. My couch is on its last thread-I won’t even call it a leg, but somehow-it all works out.
I was reading that and thought we were lucky to just have the 4 kids(2 and 2 step) how could someone afford that many. At 37, I could potentially have about 20 kids by now if I chose. How can someone in this day and age have their head so far up their asses to NOT know how to get pregnant? Planned Parenthood is on a sliding scale even, and I KNOW there are clinics that will give it to you for free.

omg someone I once knew, has twins and posted on an msn group that her doctor told her to give the kids benadryl – NO ONE in that group agreed with that They attacked her and the word of the doctor. I think they advised to give it to them on the airline too after that lady got asked to get off the plane at the airport during a layover.
Not too long ago there was a woman that had like 3 sets of twins she has 7 not sure how old she is but her husband has to help with kids they are on welfare cause neither can work all the kids are under 5. The news story landed them lots of charity and donations.

my dr told me to give my oldest son Dimetapp to calm him down. But crap, the poor kid already had such bad allergies that I already gave him dimetapp for that it never did anything for him. He coulda chugged the jug and never slowed down a minute. Same with Benedryl. I just dont see the sense in drugging your kids so you can deal with them. Katie conks out within 2 minutes of being in the car and she is 8 so traveling with her is a dream. But killing a 2 year old kid, I never saw anything they could do that would be that bad. Bet she was whacked out on drugs.
