Florida – Thomas Bernsdorff described himself on his MyspaceMySpace page as a “Hippyish Spirit” as well as a “Single Custodial Dad of two great kids…who are simply amazing little human beings.” On Friday morning, he killed thos amazing little human beings, Magnus Bernsdorff, 2, and Olivia Bernsdorff, 4, at his home in Clearwater. He then drove to the apartment of his his ex-wife, Jennifer Davis, 27, where he killed her and her partner, Andrea Pisanello, 53 around 6:30 a.m.

“Our investigators believe that the two victims lived together as a couple and were involved in a relationship. Further comments will not be made in reference to their relationship.”

Afterwards, he was seen driving erratically on the Sunshine Skyway. When Florida Highway Patrol attempted to pull him over, he blew his head off. Literally. His identification was just verified today after police had stated “It is also believed that the man who committed suicide during the Skyway Bridge traffic stop is Mr. Bernsdorff, however due to circumstances involved in the suicide it is quite possible that positive identification will have to be determined by DNA testing.”

Thomas Bernsdorff, whose name means Bringer of peace, had told people that he would kill his family if he could not get them back. He was in a lot of debt, divorce records show Bernsdorff was in debt, including $135,000 in student loans, $27,000 owed the IRS, a $33,000 private loan and roughly $50,000 in credit card debt. Bernsdorff had a master’s degree in education, a bachelor’s degree in political science and criminal justice and was working on his doctorate degree. He taught adult education GED prep courses.
