Texas – Kimberly Dawn Trenor, and Trenor’s husband, Royce Clyde Zeigler II are both facing capitol murder charges after a Texas grand jury upgraded the charges. The couple are charged with the murder of Riley Sawyers, Kimberly’s two-year-old daughter. I’m sure everyone knows the details by now, but in a nutshell, Riley was murdered by the couple after a fucked up discipline session. They hid the death by stuffing her in a plastic storage bin and dumping her in the Galveston Bay where she was later found by fishermen. She was named Baby Grace until she was later identified after a forensic artists rendition of Baby Grace was seen by her grandmother in Ohio and she contacted authorities. The decision on whether to seek the death penalty will not be made until the conclusion of the still ongoing investigation.

Dec 13, 2007 at 1:45 am -Well, as I’ve stated before I hope they rot in prison, death would be too kind for them. Our prisons are motels though, and that shit needs to change. Again….only a room the size for a cot and toilet/sink to fit in. No window. No TV. No exercise yard. Not shit, just time. Time to sit and not do a fucking thing till you die….that too me is the worst punishment. I want Riley’s mom to think about it every day of the rest of her life, what she did, what she fucking did to that beautiful child that deserved so much more.

Dec 13, 2007 at 5:05 am -How about placing them in plastic storage containers and tossing them into Galveston bay?
Some people dream of sitting and not doing a fucking thing, and some actually do this without being incarcerated.
I don’t like the death penalty, but it would serve the greater good for these two to suffer somehow for extinguishing this beautiful baby’s life.

It sounds like he was raised with this type of “discipline” in his childhood. Hard to believe he didn’t play a part in this…

Dec 13, 2007 at 4:01 pm -God Bless Texas - I also heard, but do not have any supporting documents - that Texas is also trying to pass into law that when 3 or more credible witnesses have convinced a jury of the crime - that the execution will be expedited, to save tax payers money instead of 10-15 years on death row.
Wishing I was in Texas right now - so I could vote on that legislation, if it is true. I heard it on the TV but I am not sure what source - cooking supper and all.

I cannot speak too much about her biological father, but Kimberly sure is a piece of work. I mean, her entire life after the birth of her daughter, seems to be one mistake after another.

atty davis so crooked,(creep) is going to be laughed right out of court with this line of defense what a crock. sounds like he had a discussion with these people to say these lies to save their son with insanity charge. He already confessed and said that he did it all that Riley’s mother is not at fault.
Still upsets me that she is pregnant.
I’m watching for the story when her grandmother Sheryl and her father Robert will get to bring her home. http://www.baby-grace.org/node/163#comment-1124

This really is so heartbreaking that you could beat and kill your own child. My heartaches for what this little girl must have gone through. I hope they get all thats coming to them and more. It’s sad to know i actually went to school with this crazed woman.

Jan 7, 2008 at 12:58 am -I don’t think she is , by definition, a psychopath. It seems she is one of the many people out there who just does not make good decisions. After her pregnancy, she seemed to continue to demonstrate that trait, but now all of these stupid decisions seemed to revolve around her and her needs, rather than the kid.
This seemed to be the motivating factor for everything leading up to Riley’s death and after. She participate in beating her child to please Royce, She helped conceal the death to save her and her husband’s skin, etc. I would also guess that she didn’t even turn herself in out of remorse as much as she turned herself in because she knew that she was about to get caught. Best make a deal before Royce does, and that is exactly what she did and not surprisingly, her and her lawyers have been pointing their fingers directly at Royce.
I can comprehend a woman being with a shit head for financial support, I can even comprehend a woman sticking with a man with questionable discipline techniques. But to know that your daughters body is rotting in a plastic storage bin because you placed her there after you helped kill her…man, that’s something I just cannot comprehend.

Jan 7, 2008 at 1:20 am -did anyone else notice that while Royce “tried” to comment suicide it was after Riley’s body was found? for the months that she was rotting in his shed did he try to commit suicide? I think not, I really think it was a ploy to get sympathy.

Jan 7, 2008 at 2:05 am -Well Morbid with all due respect, I guess by the definition I came across she doesn’t seem all that far off…
psy·cho·path (sī’kə-pāth’) Pronunciation Key
n. A person with an antisocial personality disorder, manifested in aggressive, perverted, criminal, or amoral behavior without empathy or remorse.
…I would consider beating your 2 year old baby girl aggressive, perverted (in a sense), criminal and amoral. Not to mention that she sure didn’t appear to show any signs of empathy or remorse for what she had done. She waited how long after she participated in brutally beating and killing her child before she came forward??? I guess the only thing I am unclear on was whether or not she was antisocial and figured “Kissedby4″ might be able to shed a little light on that for us.

Jan 7, 2008 at 2:18 am -I most often agree with you Morbid, but you have me a little baffled on this one…
just does not make good decisions? A bad decission would be like, a bad choice in hair cut, ugly shoes, taking drugs, or drinking too much. I’ll even give you so much as leaving her friends and family to run off with some guy she doesn’t even know and marrying him. But what this bitch did and allowed to be done (by her own confession) to her own flesh and blood goes beyond bad decision making in my book! She is a pathetic, distgusting excuse for a human being who deserve to suffer a miserable yet brief existence for whatever remaining life she may have!
Sorry but like Rowan, this one takes me past the boiling point.

Pregnancy of Baby Grace’s mom decided trial date, judge says
By HARVEY RICE
Copyright 2008 Houston Chronicle
GALVESTON — The pregnancy of a woman jailed along with her husband in the slaying of her 3-year-old daughter was the deciding factor in setting their capital murder trial date, a judge said today.
State District Judge David Garner told Kimberly Dawn Trenor, 19, of Spring that he set a Nov. 3 trial date Wednesday during a pre-trial hearing for her husband to ensure that she has time to give birth.
“The court is inclined to let you proceed to have your child and recover from your delivery,” Garner said.
Trenor, clad in green jail garb, sat next to her attorney, Tommy Stickler. She nervously looked over her shoulder, causing the bailiff to order her to turn around, and occasionally bit her lip. She answered, “No,” when the judge asked if she had any questions.
Trenor and her husband, Royce Clyde Zeigler II, 25, are accused in the July 25 slaying of 2-year-old Riley Ann Sawyers in their Spring home.
Trenor has said that she and Zeigler beat Riley with a belt, held her head under bath water, pushed her face into a pillow and couch and that Zeigler hurled her onto a tile floor.
Riley’s body was stored in a plastic box for up to two months before it was tossed into west Galveston Bay, Trenor said.
A fisherman discovered the box Oct. 29. Riley was known as Baby Grace until her body was identified.
One of Zeigler’s attorneys, Neal Davis III, said Wednesday that his client’s side of the story has not yet been heard. He said it will be revealed during the trial.
Another of Zeigler’s attorneys, Dee McWilliams, said Zeigler was aware of his wife’s pregnancy and it was just one of many unpleasant realities he had to face.
Garner said Trenor is due to give birth July 1. Texas Child Protective Services officials say the agency normally is contacted by a social worker when an inmate gives birth.
CPS would meet with Trenor after the child is born to discuss relatives who may be appropriate for adoption.
Galveston County District Attorney Kurt Sistrunk, who Wednesday declined to seek the death penalty in the case, said today that his decision was based on the law in that particular case and had no bearing on the case of Travis “T.J.” Mullis, 21, of Alvin.
Mullis, also charged with capital murder, is accused of stomping to death his 3-month-old son, Alijah, on Jan. 29.
Sistrunk said the facts in the two cases are different. He has not yet decided whether to seek the death penalty against Mullis.
**** Mentions Mullis as well

Jun 29, 2008 at 3:35 pm -Kimberly Trenor gave birth this week.
It sounds as if CPS and the courts are jockeying to see who will get the baby. I don’t understand, because they’re talking about placing the baby with a family member, yet state clearly that the parents should not be allowed any contact with the child. Seems less likely to happen if placed with family, don’t you think??
And Shithead Zeigler is not willingly terminating parental rights. As if HE should be the one to raise the baby. INSERT BIG EYE ROLL, HERE.

Jun 30, 2008 at 12:20 am -CPS will only place with a protective family member, so it will be someone who recognizes that these two are shitpiles, and is already refusing to have anything to do with them, and will die before letting the baby have contact with them.
Even if Dickhead refuses to relinquish his parental rights, he’ll lose them the moment he is convicted anyway. One of the grounds for termination of parental rights involuntarily is conviction for certain crimes, and this would fall within that group. He might as well just sign the damn termination papers and save us all the time and trouble of having the judge do it for him. Of course, if he had any sense in the first damn place, none of this would have happened.
I don’t get it. I have to have a license to drive my friggin’ car, but anybody can have a child. Sheesh.

Karen Cohberger (sp) was the mom. Anyway, if you search for “Travis Mullis” in the DEMON SEARCH box in the upper right corner, it’ll find the story for you.
