Mark O’Donnell Is A Despicable Bastard

WHITPAIN TOWNSHIP, Pa –48-year-old Mark O’Donnell has confessed to the violent murder of his girlfriend’s 14-year-old daughter, Ebony Nicole Dorsey, 14, and has been charged with the sexual assault and murder. Authorities say O’Donnell, who is married but is also the boyfriend of Ebony’s mother, had dropped off Ebony along with his own daughter, Kyra, at his apartment so that she could babysit. After a night of binging on crack, he returned to his apartment at approximately 5:30 in the morning.
According to O’Donnell’s account later to the cops, when he arrived back at his apartment, he saw his daughter on the sofa with no potty-training pants on and Ebony bending over to change them. O’Donnell told detectives he yelled at Ebony over her changing the pants in the middle of the night and then slapped her in the face. O’Donnell continued to slap and punch Ebony and that they ended up in Kyra’s bedroom and “the next thing [he] realized” he had Ebony’s white striped pajama pants around her neck. It said he choked Ebony until Kyra, who was awake, said “Daddy,” and he realized that the teen was no longer breathing.
What he didn’t tell officials was why forensic pathologist Dr. Ian Hood suggested that in addition to her death from blunt-force trauma and asphyxia, or strangulation, she appeared to have been sexually assaulted. Hood found three distinct tears in the girl’s anus, and deep internal bruising “consistent with penetration by a foreign object and sexual assault.”
After killing the girl, he stuffed her 110 pound body into a plastic container and dumped it in some woods beside his cousin’s house where it was later discovered. To add insult to injury, as O’Donnel was being led to the wagon, he yelled to reporters “I didn’t touch her sexually, I caught her molesting my daughter.”

I’m heartsick over this. The murder of the girl is bad enough, but for a toddler to have to watch her father (most little girls WORSHIP their fathers) do this to another human being? He IS a despicable piece of shit..
And to think, he would have never been in this 14 year olds life if some woman out there made better choices. PLEASE,a married crack head, can you think of a worse catch?

According to the dead girl’s mother, the attack came after O’Donnell, who is married, had spent the night smoking crack cocaine in her Ambler home.
Evidently his wife was out of town and he spent the night with Ebony’s Mom smoking crack. Ain’t she a fine Mama???

It appears Ebony was living in a troubled home with her mother in Ambler. Her mother, Danielle Cattie told police that before Ebony left with O’Donnell he had been smoking crack cocaine for hours. She also admits that she’s a heavy user of cocaine. Despite the odds, Ebony was an honors student at Wissahickon High School. Her classmates shared hugs and tears today. Her classmates described her as happy and cheerful, always there to make others smile. Tragically, Ebony’s smile will never be seen again. O’Donnell faces multiple charges including first-degree murder, which could carry the death penalty. This is also an ongoing investigation that could lead to charges against Ebony’s mother.

Yeah, what a waste. To overcome all the obstacles placed in front of her only to get anally raped while being strangled with her own pajamas. One of the news stories had a voice recording of her. A simple message she left for her mother, I think. Made the entire story more tragic for me, hearing her voice.

He killed her because she was messing with his daughter so he says, but he can’t even remember killing her. Fucking lieing high hunk of shit, I feel sorry for all the people who loved this little girl. I have a daughter who just turned 15 and to think about what this fucker did to her really gets to me. There she is taking care of a four year old that he should have been taking care of and he kills her for it. What a wonderful world we live in.

This one is hitting me really hard. We need to get drugs off our streets. I mean, I dont know if the would stop evil people from being evil, but it seems that every time these crimes are committed the offenders are either high or drunk. Jesus christ, I think about my son, and imagine him being born to this girl’s mom, and the things that he would go through, and I get sick to my stomach. I thank god that he is mine and that I can take care of him. Imagine what it must be like to be a child, and to be born into a “family” like this. There is NOTHING they can do to protect themselves, they must be asking “Why me?”. Why cant i have parents like my friends at school?” Makes me wanna cry right here at my desk

Even worse than that, Solange, many of them DON’T ask “Why me?” Their family is the only frame of reference they have. It strikes me as tragically sad how many kids suffer this sort of abuse and never even realize that life doesn’t have to be that way. It’s just “the way it is” for them.

Dammit. And by the linked account, the father was close to Ebony and involved in her school life, so what the hell was going on with that mother and why wasn’t Ebony living with her dad?

Things have gotten a little better in regards to custody of children, but more often than not, the mother will always get custody if it is proven she is not a crack-whore with no home. Also, while Ebony’s father may have been involved, he may not have opted to not have Ebony stay with him primarily.

My friend’s daughter went to school with Ebony. By all accounts (like the article I linked), Ebony’s father is not a druggie – he’s an involved parent who supported Ebony and was present at her choir events. Druggies don’t buy braces for their kids’ teeth or have professional portraits taken, as a rule. Wissahickon is hardly a poverty-stricken high school.
I have heard from a source that Ebony was on a weekend visit with her mom when the murder occurred and that she generally lived with her dad. I don’t know if that’s true, but it seems reasonable and would explain why the benefit bake sales and such are going to support his expenses.

It’s a shame what the honor student went through, but the mother was doing drugs long before she hooked up with a married man and continued to do drugs in her own house. Four children, three different fathers. Troubled home before he moved in. I hope the police charge her and take her to jail because she obviously doesn’t take motherhood seriously. She doesn’t deserve them.
